AITAH for refusing to buy the $1.2M apartment my wife wants, even though she earns 3x more than me? I'm 35, my wife is 34, and we have a 4-year-old. I work a stable government job, taking home about $2,000 a month after taxes. My wife is in tech, pulling in about $6,000 a month plus bonuses. Our current apartment is comfortable, in a decent school district, and our mortgage is only $500 a month. Last month, she decided we NEED to buy a $1.2 million apartment in a top-tier school district. The down payment would be around $500,000 — we could barely scrape that together by draining our savings and selling our current place. But the new mortgage would triple to almost $2,000 a month. We'd be living paycheck to paycheck. If she gets laid off or takes a pay cut, we're completely screwed. I told her the risk is too high. Our kid is still young. We don't need to go all in right now. She exploded. She said: "You make peanuts, what do you know about my anxiety?" She called me "complacent" and "unambitious." Then she dropped this: "If I weren't carrying this family, you wouldn't even have the life you have now." She's not wrong about the income gap. But that comment cut deep. I'm not against moving eventually. I'm against gambling our entire future on one house. Now she's giving me the cold shoulder and telling her friends I'm holding her back. AITA for asking my wife to do a few chores after the baby was born My wife made me feel like a peice of shit so I need opinions. We recently welcomed our second baby to our family. It was a long delivery but she was born healthy and happy. \*\*Our other child is 3 and he goes to daycare everday. ( bolded becuase people can’t read)\*\*I do drop off a pickup with him. It has been around 2 months since our baby girl was born and we are both tired. We use formula so we switch out on nights for feedings and my wife is ok maternity leave for a few more months. The issue is that the house is a disaster. Once I come home from working 9 hours I then have to take over everything. I do dinner, I do the dishes, I clean the rooms, I do the trash especially in the babies room because my wife lets the diapers pile up. I have asked her multiple times to do some chores to help out when the baby js asleep. I wasn’t asking her to go crazy but to wipe down the table or throw food in the oven for dinner.  She hasn’t. I asked if everything is fine and she claims it is, just a bit sore after the birth. I asked her to go to the doctors and that caused a fight becuase she claims everything is fine. She has always hated the doctors. My breaking point was today. I came home and tripped over shoes in the hallway. She went out with the baby and just kicked her shoes off when she got home. I tripped and fell on my face. The house was still a mess and we got into an argument. She says I am pushing too hard for her to clean when she isn’t 100 percent yet and I told her I am not asking her to be super cleaner just do something. Any chore. It shouldn’t be that hard to clean the kitchen while the baby sleeps. It went on for a while and she left. I called my sister to help me since my wife left me with two kids alone and filthy house. I don’t want to ask my sister, she has a negative opinion of my wife edit : everyone asking if the bay sleep. The baby sleeps pretty well. Usually asleep of 14-17 hours a day. The naps are usually an hour or two. It is rare for her to get up after she is put down  She is a lot better at night then our son was

AITAH for not donating to my coworker's fire fundraiser and getting shunned by the whole team? A coworker's house caught fire last month. Half the house damaged, but everyone's safe. HR sent a fundraiser link, calling it "voluntary donations." I clicked the link and checked — insurance covers it, just slow processing. Also, he drives a BMW. His wife carries a Louis Vuitton. So I didn't donate. Then things got weird. Coworkers posted in the group chat saying "donated!" with screenshots. I stayed quiet. Someone DM'd me asking how much I gave. I said nothing. Next day, the vibe shifted. People went quiet when I entered the break room. No one asked me to lunch. Passive-aggressive posts about "selfish people" started appearing. I talked to HR. They said it's voluntary and they won't get involved. But the damage is done. I get that people want to be supportive. But why am I the bad guy for not handing over money I don't owe anyone? AITAH?

I’m sleeping with a woman in an arranged marriage. This has been going on for a few months now. I had some new neighbours from India move in next door and they seemed really nice and a decent couple. They even invited me round for dinner at one point. It was nice but I’d notice he’d shut his wife down a lot when she tried to speak to me directly etc. He would speak to her very harshly in their language. I even had to say to him at one point that ‘it’s ok, I’d like to hear it’. We didn’t start sleeping together for a while but we started having coffee when her husband was at work (I’m studying rn) and that kept becoming closer and closer until we kissed. We didn’t talk for ages after that but one day she knocked on the door and explained her entire situation; how she hadn’t had too much choice in her husband and it had been arranged by her parents. She hadn’t even wanted to leave India but her husband had career opportunities here and made her come with him. We ended up sleeping together that day… and from there it kind of spiralled and now I’m in an affair with this woman and I honestly don’t know how to feel about it.

I should say here I was, for some reason (not sure why), anxious and uncertain about the commitment step. Possibly due to financial implications, I’m not entirely sure. She swears blind she hasn’t been unfaithful and her initial reaction to the news was to cry and tell me. She never accused me of being the one to give it to her or anything like that (I’ve been faithful throughout) but I quickly got a test and was negative. I’m now questioning our whole relationship and even if she wasn’t unfaithful it seems to affected my feelings. What do I do?

When my mother passed away in 2007, I was left in the care of my big sister and her husband. I stayed with them. I was 13 years at that time. My big sister's husband had a younger brother who was also staying with them. He was older, could be in his 20's at that time. Just a few weeks after I moved in with them, this guy started harassing me. He would touch me inappropriately and even sometimes hug me when I'm unaware. I honestly didn't know how to react to what he was doing cuz that was the first time anyone was doing such stuff to me. He started sneaking in on me when I'm bathing and even coming to my room when no one was around. So I told my sister and she called him and warned him. A few weeks later, this guy managed to force himself on me. He later begged me not to tell my sister and even said he would love to marry me when grow. I didn't mind him, but he came again to force himself on me and I even bled that afternoon. He took care of me and promised it won't happen again. Long story short, he eventually started sleeping with me. I was barely 14. It was painful and I see droplets of blood anytime I took off my pant till I was around 18 years when it stopped. But it wasn't just him, my sister's husband himself later joined the brother. They both didn't have mercy on me. I was just a 14 year old living with my sister and these two men took advantage of me. The day they both found out this was what they were doing with me, they rather started doing it together. This one will come and go and the other will come. Sometimes they forced me. And they said if I told my sister, I'll leave the house with my sister and I won't go to school. If I knew better, I would have told her so we leave. They continued till I completed SHS. Then I chose to leave the house and face my own life. My sister didn't like it, but I never told her I was being abused. I worked to see myself through school cuz the man said he would only pay my fees if I came back to the house. He never got me again. But Kay, I've been married for two years now and I'm struggling to conceive. I feel like it's because of what I endured in the hands of my sister's husband and his brother. They destroyed my womb and I am not ready to pretend it never happened. For a long time now, I've been planning the perfect revenge. I want to go back into their lives and make them pay for what they did to me. I want to lead them somewhere, put them in a vulnerable position because they would certainly want to sleep with me again, and then unalive the perv in them. I'll make sure they beg me to forgive them, then I look them straight in the eyes and do what I have to do till they're no more. I think no girl should be allowed to sleep over at a man that isn't her husband's house again. I let my lady sleep over the weekend, she was supposed to leave on Sunday but she decided to stay and leave yesterday. I was fast asleep when I heard her crying, I wanted to wake up when I heard her sobbing but I saw that she was with my phone when I opened my eyes so I quickly closed them and turned my back to act like I'm deep in my sleep. The sobbing continued, then she started talking to herself and reading some of the messages I had exchanged with some girls out loud. There was a lot in there, I knew she was hurting but I didn't ask her to use my fingerprint to unlock my phone while I was asleep so I decided to ignore her. I don't know what happened, all of a sudden she started using the remote on me. Before I could fix myself block her, she had badly injured me. My face, my eye especially and my teeth got broken also. My lips were swollen within a few minutes. I had to literally jump off the bed. I think she just couldn't believe I got someone pregnant and asked her to abort it. But I don't know why she was mad. I wasn't asking the person to keep it. And why will she use my own hands to unlock my phone while I was asleep? Anyway, she hurt me badly. I was at the hospital. I got treated and I had to go back today to get treated. Our relationship is officially over. I'm not going to apologize cuz she already hurt me. I'm not sure she's ready to apologize either cuz I've not heard from her yet, she only sent a text to say she's sorry but she needs to do it in person. I've learnt a big lesson. I'll only use iPhones so my phone can't be unlocked when I'm sleeping, no sleep overs unless I'm married and I'll have boundaries henceforth. This is to my guys, this girl really hurt me. Guard yourselves out there. I never went through her phone so it hurt me she did what she did and all this has taught me is to be careful. She could've done anything to me cuz she lost control and really didn't think twice when she was smashing my face with the remote. Only God made it a remote, what if it was a knife? Hmmmm! These girls.
