but i remember eversince they introduced surge id wanted soooo bad for her and kit to at least meet shadow i dont know if you know this but a lot of characters in sonic have this trope of "copying/replicating the blue blur but better and faster so we can kill that guy/overtake that guy" thing goin on whter its the robots or organic matter shadow and surge are very much those things (though i will say shadow's is by circumstance) there is a big difference between them though and thats how they ended up coping with that (AGAIN I HAVENT READ THE RECENT ONES DONT KILL ME AHHHH) but shadow has grown sooooo much since his introduction and continues to towards a path of autonomy and creating a self identity without it being determined by others anymore surge and kit are going down the slippery slope of molding themself into what the doctor wanted them to be, even if they dont realise it. so idk i think just them meeting someone with a similar background of not being allowed the autonomy and growth and having to learn to not let the past mold you but molding yourself to be better in the future and overall surge and kit seeing it being possible would be interesting if nothing else. thats it thats the thought
