GS-1 PAPER ANALYSIS After discussing the paper with many serious aspirants and previous Prelims qualifiers, one thing became clear — this year’s paper was less about knowledge and more about handling uncertainty. Along with preparation, the “power of tukka” (calculated guessing and risk-taking) played a major role. DIFFICULTY LEVEL: • One of the toughest and most unpredictable UPSC Prelims papers. DIRECT QUESTIONS: • Very few questions could be solved with confidence. STATIC SUBJECTS: • Questions from Polity, Economy, Geography, and Environment felt random. HISTORY: • Many questions were beyond standard sources like NCERT and Spectrum. CURRENT AFFAIRS: • Required very detailed factual knowledge. PAPER LENGTH: • Long statements made time management difficult. ELIMINATION METHOD: • Common elimination tricks were not very effective. KEY TAKEAWAYS: • Very few direct and easy questions compared to previous years. • Strong preparation did not give the usual advantage. • History questions were difficult because many were outside standard books. • Current affairs required excessive factual detail. • Long statements slowed down paper completion. • Elimination tricks created confusion in many questions. • No coaching or test series could have fully prepared students for such unpredictability. (Do not blame Saarthi IAS, Vajiram, PT 365, or any mentor for this paper pattern.) • In many questions, success depended more on confidence to take calculated risks and intelligent guesses. • Overall, the paper tested uncertainty handling more than conventional preparation.

India Right Now 🇮🇳 Buying *Russian* Oil. Building Drones with *Israel* . Investing in a *US* refinery, which Trump personally announced. Keeping diplomatic channels open with *Iran* to protect shipping routes through Hormuz. Airlifting food supplies to the *UAE*. All at the same time.. That’s a strategic balance. India isn’t choosing sides. India is securing its interests everywhere.
