Hi Friends! I am Rutherson S and I secured Rank-598 in Civil Services Exam 2023. I failed Prelims four times. Not because I didn’t study. Not because I lacked sources. But because I hadn’t yet understood the game. In my 3rd and 4th attempts, I was standing right at the border — just a few marks away from clearing. That pain of “almost” is different. It forces you to introspect deeply. That is when I stopped collecting materials and started analysing Previous Year Questions (PYQs) seriously. And that changed everything. I began decoding patterns. I observed how statements are framed. I understood the traps, the language twists, the elimination logic, and most importantly — the mindset of the examiner. Prelims is not just about knowledge; it is about interpretation, precision, and strategic thinking. With this clarity, I cleared Prelims in CSE 2021 and again in CSE 2023. This book is not just a guide. It is a distilled playbook from real exam experience. It is built purely from my personal journey — from repeated failure to finally cracking the code. It shows you how to read PYQs the right way, how to extract hidden trends, and how to train your mind to approach questions like the examiner expects you to. If you are someone who has covered the syllabus multiple times but still couldn’t clear, this book can be your turning point. If you are a repeater, this will resonate even more. Sometimes, the difference between failure and success in Prelims is just 8–10 marks. And those 8–10 marks come from clarity — not from more content. If you’re tired of “almost clearing” and ready to cross the line decisively, this book is for you. Because Prelims is not about knowing more. It is about thinking better. Regards.
