We are excited to announce the upcoming Whitechain protocol upgrade. The upgrade is first scheduled to take place on Testnet at block #28069512 (estimated for January 9, 2025, at 10:00 UTC). The name for the upgrade is Cepheus, to continue with the theme of our previous Cassiopeia hardfork. The purpose of the hardfork is PUSH0 opcode support. All testnet node operators should update their nodes before this time. It doesn't affect Whitechain mainnet, however this hardfork will be also rolled out in mainnet soon (in release v1.2.0).
