Hello everyone, I'm very sorry, for the silence recently. Unfortunately I will have to continue it for a while. We had to send our sweet little kitty Tora over the rainbow bridge recently, and we are so sad and heartbroken. It was a long fight for her health but we eventually lost it to cancer. I will not be online much and I won't be able to respond to anything while we grieve. Everythings so heavy and I just don't have the energy to do anything at the moment. Please be patient with me

Many of you will have heard about the new Packaging Regulation (EPR/PPWR), which takes effect on August 12, 2026. https://www.bundesumweltministerium.de/themen/kreislaufwirtschaft/abfallarten-und-abfallstroeme/verpackungsabfaelle/europaeisches-recht-ueber-verpackungen-und-verpackungsabfaelle (German version) Under this law, you must have a representative in every EU country who handles the registration and disposal of your packaging. That costs around 200–300€ per EU country. No small business (like mine) can afford that. The big companies just laugh it off. Either they already have branches in every country, or these sums are a drop in the bucket compared to their revenue. There are no exceptions for small business owners. This marks the death of the EU’s economic COMMUNITY, and for many small business owners, it spells the end of their companies. And it doesn’t just affect businesses. As a customer, you will no longer be able to shop in other EU countries, because no one will be selling there anymore. We've had a great day with our friends and we're looking forward to this new chapter in our life <3
