WIUT Alumni Spotlight Celebrating Dinara Khakimova (Class of 2007, Business Administration) We are proud to celebrate the incredible achievements of our alumna, Dinara Khakimova, General Representative of the ALOHA Mental Arithmetic International Program in Uzbekistan and Founder of ALOHA Uzbekistan / ALLOMA Educational Centers. July 20, 2025 became a milestone day for ALOHA Uzbekistan. At the prestigious International Mental Arithmetic Championship held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia — with over 600 participants from 20 countries — Team Uzbekistan delivered an extraordinary performance! All 18 students representing Uzbekistan returned home with awards and trophies, proudly raising the national flag on the international stage. Their success is a powerful testament to the strength of dedication, hard work, and talent. To date, ALOHA Uzbekistan has earned an impressive 120 international trophies, thanks to the success of its students at global competitions in Malaysia (twice), Russia, China, Spain, and Cambodia. 📣 Dear students and alumni, 🤩 We are excited to share the success story of our recent graduate, Aziza Akhmedova, from the Commercial Law course, who landed an internship opportunity at UNICEF through announcements in our channel! 🗣 Here is what she says about her application and work experience: I found this job opportunity in the telegram channel of the Career Development Centre just before I graduated. They post actual job opportunities, and even before I was hired by UNICEF, I found several interesting positions through them. The main benefit of working at UNICEF is the organization's international nature, providing me with opportunities for self-development through regular participation in workshops and seminars. In my current role, I am part of the team drafting the criminal code for juvenile offenders. How to get Alumni Membership Card? 1️⃣ Come to WIUT SHB (new building) and feel free to book an appointment with Alumni Officer. 2️⃣ Sign a contract and fill in the application form to request a card. 3️⃣ Complete the payment and inform the Officer. We would like to introduce one of the most active alumni in the history of WIUT, Mr. Khayot Khalikov, BA in Commercial Law Class of 2021. Khayot also holds Master of Laws Degree Class of 2023 from Penn State University, Dickinson School of Law, ranked among top 100 universities in the world. During his time at the university, Khayot served as the Secretary-General of Students` Union, and 2 times elected President of WIUT Research Society making his best contribution to the development of student life experience at the university. Khayot has been invited as the chairman, judge, adjudicator and honorable speaker to over 30 International Projects and been actively involved in projects of the Youth Agency of Uzbekistan and the United Nations Office for Drugs and Crime ROCA related to youth empowerment as a member of the organizing team. In 2019, he launched his business project, a school called Westminster Academy. In his role as the Founder and CEO, he has been partnering with over 10 leading educational organizations such as IDP IELTS, British Council, TESOL Asia and Cambridge Assessment English. Now, Westminster Academy has 2 branches with over 1,000 alumni worldwide who are achieving their dreams. Today, Khayot is an immigration law clerk in the Law Office of Olena Manilich, PC located in Manhattan, New York. He is also cooperating with the World Association of Youth of Uzbekistan and the Office of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan to the United States in supporting the Uzbek Youth in the United States on matters related to immigration law and personal growth.
