UNESCO Youth Hackathon 2026 – Call for Applications Students aged 18–30 are invited to apply for the UNESCO Youth Hackathon 2026, an international initiative focused on developing practical solutions in media and information literacy, artificial intelligence, digital safety, and combating misinformation. Applications are open to national and international teams of 2–6 participants. UNESCO encourages teams to promote gender balance and inclusivity. Winning teams will have the opportunity to present their projects at the international festival "Voices: European Festival of Journalism and Media Literacy", to be held in Thessaloniki, Greece, from 26–28 November 2026. 📅 Application deadline: 16 August 2026 Applications should be submitted via UNESCO's online platform. ❗️Enrolment & Module Registration Deadline – 10 August 2026 The deadline to complete your Enrolment and Module Registration for the 2026/2027 academic year is 10 August 2026. Please complete both procedures via the Student Records System (SRS). Before the deadline, make sure you: • Complete your Enrolment • Register for your modules (Module Registration becomes available only after the Enrolment procedure has been completed.) After your Module Registration has been approved by your Course Leader, you must complete the required tuition fee payment by 16 September 2026. Please note that your enrolment will only be confirmed once the minimum required payment (¼ of the tuition fee instalment) has been received. Please keep in mind: • Failure to complete your Enrolment by the deadline may result in the termination of your studies. • If you do not register for your modules on time, the University reserves the right to select them on your behalf, without the right to appeal. • If you need advice on module selection, please consult your Course Leader or Academic Adviser before submitting your registration. • Students with outstanding tuition fee debts must settle them before they can access the Enrolment procedure in SRS. 📎 The Enrolment and Module Registration Instructions are attached for your reference. WIUT Student Wins First Place at SCO Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 🏆 We are proud to share that WIUT Level 6 Business Information Systems student Sardor Ibrokhimjonov has secured first place with his startup idea at the national qualifying stage of the 5th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Member States Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, held in Tashkent on 5 June. As a result of this outstanding achievement, Sardor will represent Uzbekistan at the international stage in China and take part in a 15-day bootcamp programme across Qingdao, Wuxi and Shanghai. During the programme, finalists will meet with experts, innovation ecosystem representatives and leading technology companies. Congratulations to Sardor on this remarkable success and we wish him every success in the next stage of the competition! 🎉

Enrolment is more than just a university procedure – it is your official confirmation that you will continue your studies at Westminster International University in Tashkent for the next academic year. ✅ Why is enrolment important? Successful enrolment gives you official student status and access to: • classes and timetable • exams • university systems • student services • and your place at WIUT for the new academic year 📌 What do students need to do? To complete enrolment successfully, students must: • complete online enrolment on Student Record System (Home Page - SRS.WEB) during the official enrolment period • meet academic progression requirements • pay tuition fees on time 📅 Enrolment Period • Students with No Referral/Deferral assessments: from 2 June to 10 August 2026 • Students with Referral/Deferral assessments: from 20 July to 10 August 2026 🎯 What happens after enrolment?
