Post-doctoral Research Fellowship Opening In Duke’s Hematology & Transfusion Medicine T32 Training Program The Division of Hematology and Transfusion Services at Duke University Medical Center (DUMC) is seeking qualified post-doctoral candidates (MD or PhD) for a 1-2 year T32-sponsored research fellowship in transfusion medicine. Abundant opportunities are available with establishedclinical and/or translational research programs in traditional blood banking (blood product utilization,immunohematology, transfusion practice), therapeutic apheresis (plasma exchange, red cell exchange, and/or quality improvement projects) and cellular therapy(hematopoiesis, stem cell therapies). Prior experimental work in related areas of immunohematology, genetics, genomics, bioinformatics and/or hematopoiesis isdesired, but not essential. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work alongside clinical specialists and basic investigators in transfusion medicine, pediatric/adult apheresis and cellular therapy. As this position is funded through NIH, eligibility requirements include US citizenship or proof of permanent resident status. Postdoctoral Fellow Opening at Yale School of Medicine, Department of #Psychiatry, Program for Recovery and Community Health The Yale School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, Program for Recovery and Community Health is recruiting one postdoctoral fellow for a two-year appointment beginning July 1st, 2025. The fellowship provides focused research training in competitive and integrated employment for people with psychiatric disabilities. To ensure we provide the highest quality research training, we have designed our program to include the following combination of didactic, experiential, practical, and individualized components. Each postdoc will: 1) Receive training in recovery-oriented practice and participatory, community-engaged research, highlighting in particular the role of competitive employment as a central pathway to recovery; 2) acquire hands-on research experience by being offered choices of engaging as a collaborator in ongoing research projects; 3) develop, conduct, and complete their own independent research project under the close supervision and mentorship of senior faculty; and 4) have access to the full range of elective lectures, seminars, discussion groups, and social support offered by the Postdoctoral Affairs Office of the Yale School of Medicine and the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation.
