HOW TO ESCAPE THE HUSTLE TRAP 1️⃣ Pick one proven skill and go deep. Most top earners in our space didn’t do 10 things. They mastered 1. 2️⃣ Resist shiny object syndrome. New doesn’t always mean better. Consistency beats the temporary excitement of something new every single time. 3️⃣ Your bank account doesn’t reward motion. It rewards mastery. You can’t monetize “trying.” You only get paid for execution. -------------------------------------- Some will read this and keep juggling. Some will defend their “multiple streams” while their account stays empty. But a few? A few will pause. A few will choose clarity over chaos. A few will stop doing everything and start doing the right thing. If you're one of the few, drop a comment and share this with your tribe. ~ V.O.V
A guy in our community once bragged that he had 9 sources of income... He was: Doing crypto Running ads for clients Selling skincare products Learning copywriting Trying to launch a course And 4 other half-baked ideas… Every time we spoke, he had a “new move” he was working on. He sounded smart. Ambitious. Hustle-minded. But behind all the noise? He was broke. Borrowing airtime. Stressed. Confused. Stuck. Then one day he said something that exposed the real issue: > “Bro, I feel like I’m always moving, but I’m going nowhere.” And that’s when it hit me… The problem isn’t laziness. It’s lack of focus. --------------------------------------- You see, hustle culture has lied to us. It tells you to do more, chase everything, jump on every new wave. But truth is: > Distraction looks like hard work… but it’s really a trap. --------------------------------------- Cont'd
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BUSINESSMAN AND ENTREPRENEUR The terms "businessman" and "entrepreneur" often get tossed around as if they mean the same thing, but they actually represent different ideas and mindsets. Let’s break down the key differences between the two: 1. Definition and Focus - Businessman: A businessman is usually someone involved in commercial activities, primarily focused on managing established businesses. Their main job revolves around handling resources, boosting profits, and sticking to tried-and-true business models. - Entrepreneur: An entrepreneur, on the other hand, is someone who spots opportunities and takes the leap to create new ventures or improve existing ones. Their attention is on innovation, taking risks, and turning ideas into successful businesses or products. 2. Risk Attitude - Businessman: Businessmen generally take a more cautious approach to risk. They often prefer stable, established markets and tend to optimize existing processes rather than diving into uncharted territory. - Entrepreneur: Entrepreneurs are usually more open to taking risks as they aim to create something fresh or shake up existing markets. They’re often willing to take calculated risks to chase innovative ideas. 3. Innovation vs Management - Businessman: While businessmen might make improvements, their main role is often about effective management and operational efficiency within existing structures. They usually focus on sustaining and growing the business through conventional methods. - Entrepreneur: Entrepreneurs are often viewed as innovators, motivated by a desire to tackle problems or fulfill unmet needs in the market. They prioritize creativity and innovation to come up with 4. Vision vs Execution - Businessman: A businessman usually works within a set vision or framework, focusing on executing that vision effectively. They might not be the ones who came up with the original business idea, but they play a crucial role in keeping things running smoothly and profitably. - Entrepreneur: Entrepreneurs, on the other hand, often develop their own vision and take charge of making it a reality. They actively steer their businesses and make key decisions that can influence the entire industry. 5. Motivation - Businessman: For many businessmen, the drive comes from achieving financial success and stability. Their main objectives often center around generating profits, increasing market share, and maintaining a competitive edge. - Entrepreneur: While entrepreneurs also aim for financial success, their motivations often run deeper. They might be fueled by a passion for their ideas, a desire to make a difference, or a commitment to social change. Their goals can include personal fulfillment or addressing societal challenges. 6. Growth Orientation - Businessman: Businessmen typically concentrate on steady growth within their established markets, optimizing operations to ensure ongoing success. Their strategies often involve gradual scaling and sticking to tried-and-true methods. - Entrepreneur: Entrepreneurs usually set their sights on rapid growth and scalability, constantly on the lookout for ways to shake up industries and dive into new markets. They’re often quick to adjust their strategies based on what the market tells them. In summary, while both businessmen and entrepreneurs are vital to the economy, their approaches, mindsets, and definitions are quite different. Businessmen tend to focus on managing established companies and optimizing for success, while entrepreneurs prioritize innovation and risk-taking to create new ventures or transform existing ones. Recognizing these differences can shed light on the various ways individuals contribute to economic growth and progress.
Whoever asks the questions controls the conversation. This is true in negotiations, interviews, debates… and especially in sales. Yet, most people get on a sales call and do the opposite. They pitch. They explain. They convince. Big mistake. A great closer doesn’t talk more... they ask more. The one controlling the frame should be asking 80% of the questions. Instead of “Our program helps you do X, Y, Z” → Ask “What’s your biggest challenge with X right now?” Instead of “We can solve that for you” → Ask “What would solving that be worth to you?” Questions make them sell themselves. Questions make them realize they need you. The best closers don’t convince. They guide. They uncover pain. They make the prospect say out loud why they need to buy. And by the time they’re done talking? Saying "yes" is the only logical choice. © Bruno Nwogu
My dear Nigerian/Foreign Student, You didn’t come to university just to get a degree. You came to build a life. But sadly, what most of us do is rent five years of our lives to an environment called “University,” and leave with nothing but a paper. Your life could change forever if you know that university is more than a place for lectures and results. That It’s your training ground for life. The mistake many of us make is to treat school like a waiting room, waiting for graduation, NYSC, or that job we believe will magically appear. But what if I told you that your university years are your biggest opportunity to rewire your life, to build character, habits, skills, and relationships that will carry you for decades. School is not designed to make you rich. It’s designed to make you literate, functional, and employable. That’s fine ooh, but the question is: Do you want to be just employable, or do you want to be valuable? You have to decide. 27 years ago, I was a young student like you. I didn’t have much. My parents couldn’t pay my fees or send me pocket money. I had no rich uncle. I didn’t have the basic things around. What I had was hunger, not just the physical kind, but the hunger to become more valuable. And it was in that hunger that I found my breakthrough. It was in that “hunger” that my mind woke up. That hunger was my gift. It pushed me to become resourceful. It forced me to learn how to provide value. I learned how to spot what people needed and offer a solution with creativity. Right there on my bunk at hostel A. I turned my little corner into a business, and started typing, designing and printing jobs for my fellow students which opened doors to money, relationships, and personal growth I could never have imagined. You see, when you are pushed into a corner where survival becomes a must, your brain will wake up. Solutions will appear. Strength you never knew you had will rise. But the painful truth is that most students are too comfortable to grow. Yes, I said it. That weekly or monthly allowance from your parents is silently robbing you of one of your most important elements which is RESOURCEFULNESS. Well, I am entering a important meeting now, I will continue this letter tomorrow. This is a wake-up call, please share it. Thanks. #Oluwaisinvolved #thebillionairejourney #111fix © Chidomere Ndubisi
Are you investing in growth, or just spending on comfort? Sometimes, I see some business owners spend company funds on a brand-new bone straight or the latest iPhone but skip investing in staff training or personal development. The truth is, the value you place on knowledge determines how far you’ll go as a business owner. For every new level your business reaches, there’s new knowledge required to sustain and surpass that level. And as you grow as a CEO, you must bring your employees along. One of your key roles is to build a team that can scale the business — with or without you. That’s why successful multinationals invest in retreats and training programs. The only "retreat" you know shouldn’t just be pizza and movie night. It’s funny how people inquire about employee training, hear the fee (which is probably what they spend clubbing on a Friday night), and then say it’s too expensive. But the truth is, it’s not too expensive, you just haven’t placed a premium on knowledge! If you don’t invest in building intellectual capacity, your team loses value. In no time, they’ll become redundant — and you’ll end up paying for that same training later, trying to revive what’s already broken. Be proactive, not reactive. The cost of training today is far less than the cost of fixing a failing
If you can spend 4 years getting a degree to do something you don't care about, you can spend 1 year re-educating yourself to build your own thing. Stop quitting after 2 weeks. "It is not the degree but the skill that achieves success." –Elon Musk If your last degree is 10 years old. 100% of that knowledge is outdated. If your last degree is 5 years old. 50-70% of that knowledge is outdated. If your last degree is 3 years old. that knowledge is still outdated for years to come. What are you doing to stay relevant? Ask yourself these 5 questions. Use them to set your learning goals. - How are you upskilling and improving? - What course did you take in the last 3 months? - What's the last industry publication you read? - What did you learn from a professional network? - What is the latest tech you got your hands on? No matter how busy you are, set time aside for self development. Learn high Income Skills. Your skills will be your leverage.
Stop! Yes. Stop. Stop it. STOP using the saying, "no one is perfect" as an excuse for mediocrity. Be excellent! The saying "no one is perfect" is often used as a way to excuse shortcomings or subpar performance, but it should not be a justification for mediocrity. While it’s true that no one is flawless, striving for excellence should always be the goal. Perfection might be unattainable, but excellence is a mindset that can be pursued every day (I should write on excellence being first a mindset tomorrow) Excellence isn't about being flawless, it's about putting in the effort to continuously improve, taking responsibility for your actions, and aiming to deliver your best work consistently. It’s about going above and beyond what’s required, even when the standard is already met. My challenge to you today: take a moment to re-evaluate the things you do and find ways to infuse excellence into them. Start viewing yourself as a global citizen, not someone playing small. You are a global citizen. Yes. Say that again... I am a global citizen! Now, what do global citizens do? Of course, excellence requires discipline, commitment, and a mindset of growth. If we constantly rely on the excuse of "no one is perfect," we risk accepting mediocrity as the norm, which can hold us back from achieving our potential. So...stop it My friend, excellence is within your reach and should be pursued relentlessly. -OlaNIYI Soyinka 65/365 #SuccessCatalyst #EarnAFee #DaillyWisdom #DailyMotivation #NiyiSoyinka #OlaniyiSoyinka
MADAM CHIOMA, HELP ME BLOW Honestly, if I could make money everytime someone says this to me, I would be soooo rich. Young people everywhere want to blow. They want to make a lot of money and end their financial troubles. I will continue to repeat the process of blowing again and again. It is very simple, but requires huge focus which many people are not able to give. Only 2 things are required of you to blow this year. 1. Have a product that the market loves to buy 2. Sell that product with maaaaad marketing efforts Finish!!!! If you do these 2 simple things, you will make millions of money and you will blow. But you are hoping that other things can help you blow. - You deceive yourself that without a mentor you cannot blow. LIE - You tell yourself that without connections you cannot blow - LIE - You tell yourself that you have to belong in a certain clique, dress a certain way, roll with a certain class of people, attend certain events before you can blow - LIE The rules to blowing in this internet and social media age is simple. Only the two things I stated. Everything else is extra. If you focus your energy on the two things, you will blow. Yes, some people made money by having connections, or getting a mentor, or joining a clique or other such. But they are fewer and it is not a replicable process. It is easier to follow a replicable process that works for everyone rather than struggling to follow a process that worked for a few. For example - The simple rule to passing any exams is to study and cover the entire published curriculum. Simple But there are those who passed by bribing. There are those who passed by cheating. There are those who passed by luck (they didn't cover the curriculum and the questions luckily came from the part they covered). But should we follow the few? No! We should follow the winning process - Study and cover the whole curriculum The Winning process is the simple formula that guarantees winning to a high percentage. So my dear brother and my dear sister, if 2025 is your year to blow, follow the 2 simple things I mentioned and you will blow. Everything else you are chasing is distraction. Let me stop here. The gospel of how to make millions is stupid-clear. If you want to blow, you know what to do. I love you! #chiomaifeanyieze #chiomabusinessschool
You NEED to know these MONEY skills: 1. Negotiate Everything: Discuss salaries, bills, and rent. Always ask for more and don’t settle for the initial offer. A brief conversation could save you a lot. 2. First Job Isn't Permanent: Your initial job doesn’t have to be your last. Don’t hesitate to explore different opportunities to discover what suits you and pays well. 3. Protect Your Credit Score: Your credit score impacts loans, housing, and job prospects. Always pay your bills on time, keep your balances low, and review your reports for mistakes. 4. Surround Yourself with Achievers: Being around motivated and positive people pushes you to reach higher. Choose your friends carefully. 5. Invest in Your Health: Your health is your biggest asset. Good health can save you significant medical expenses down the road, so maintain a balanced diet, exercise, and get regular checkups. 6. Avoid Comparisons: Comparing yourself to others is a trap, especially with social media. Focus on your own goals for long-term success. 7. Utilize Compound Interest: Money grows over time through compound interest. Start investing early to maximize your returns. 8. Start Retirement Planning Early: Begin saving for retirement at 20 instead of waiting until 40. Compound interest benefits from time. 9. Pay Yourself First: Set up automatic contributions to your investments before spending on anything else. This creates a habit of saving. 10. Invest in Your Skills: Education and skill development can boost your income potential. This is one of the best investments you can make. 11. Avoid Emotional Decisions: Don’t let fear or greed guide your investments. 12. Learn from Mistakes: Everyone makes financial errors. The key is to learn and improve. 13. Don’t Impress Others with Purchases: True friends appreciate you for who you are, not what you own. Investing is more admirable than showing off. 14. Focus on Assets, Not Liabilities: Invest in things that generate income instead of those that incur costs. 15. Utilize Employer 401(k) Matches: If your job offers a 401(k) match, take advantage of it—it's free money for your retirement.
There are two major reasons why anyone would get a JOB today. 1. To get stable income. 2. To build a career. Contrary to popular opinions, whichever reason you choose, there is nothing UNWISE about it. Nothing wrong in wanting a stable income. After all, bills must be paid. And nothing wrong in wanting to build a career. Building a career is just as much an achievement as building a business. We can't all be internet entrepreneurs. The only caveat is... If your reason for getting a job is number 1 stated above, then think about this... It's called STABLE for a reason. In most cases, it doesn't grow... Even after years of sweat and toil. It stays the same. But inflation won't. Secondly, in a system that's already heavily rigged, the decision of one man/woman can make you become jobless. And if you have no savings, investments or alternatives to fall back on, you're screwed. A smarter play would be to direct part of that stable income towards building a side hustle. That side hustle could be anything from: - Ghostwriting - Video Editing - Affiliate Marketing - Drop-servicing - Media Buying - Funnel Building Etc... My point is - Stop demonižing the 9-5 as something the ðevil uses to stêal people's dreams. There's no one size fits all gateway to success. Share and comment only if you get the point. ~ VOV

BUILD AUTHORITY BEFORE YOU SELL AN ONLINE COURSE Before you launch that online course, please build your authority. Take 3 to 6 months and build your authority without trying to sell. How should I build my authority? 1. Using knowledge- show us that you are knowledgeable in the field. Give us content back to back 2. Use consistency- Find your core message and stay consistent in shouting it into our ears. Stop jumping around. Do these 2 simple things for 3 to 6 months, then launch your course and you will make sales. You don't come from quietness to launching a course. It doesn't work that way. Okay bye. #chiomaifeanyieze #chiomabusinessschool

Consistency is not a guarantee for the results you desire! However, it gives you an edge. What do I mean? I don’t know how to play basketball at the moment, but there’s a high chance that if I take 1,000 random shots aimed at a net, I’ll definitely get one in. Right? But here’s the problem: the uncertainty of when I’ll get that one shot in. And here’s an even bigger problem: throwing in the wrong direction and expecting it to go in. Throwing in the wrong direction? You can’t expect it to go in. Even if I take 500 shots, they won’t go in if I’m not aiming at a net. So… Don’t stop at just showing up consistently. It’s not enough. You should: - Understand the basics required to achieve the results you desire. - Join a community of people with similar goals. - Analyze your actions for improvement. Results won’t just come because you’re taking consistent shots. They’ll come when you know how to, and you consistently take the right shot. – Lucky James #TheDominator
Quick sales tip: Be good-looking. 😎 I know it sounds shallow, but hear me out there’s science behind it. Dress well. Speak well. Look good. Why? Because people are wired to trust and like attractive people. It’s called Pulchrinomics the study of how beauty influences economics. The truth is, being good-looking isn’t just about aesthetics it’s about the perception of competence, trustworthiness, and likability When you dress sharp, carry yourself well, and speak with confidence, you’re not just selling a product—you’re selling yourself Here’s how it works: 1. Attractive people lower defenses. Your appearance acts as a shortcut in people’s brains: “This person looks put-together; they must know what they’re doing.” 2. It grabs attention. Humans are visual creatures. When you show up looking your best, people notice. And in sales, attention is currency. 3. It creates an unfair advantage. Let’s be real—when you combine skill with an appealing presence, you’re stacking the deck in your favor. People want to work with someone who looks like they’ve got it together. This doesn’t mean you need to be a model or wear a designer suit It means putting effort into your grooming, your wardrobe, and your energy. Because when you feel good about how you look, you show up with more confidence. And confidence? That’s magnetic. Bottom line? People buy YOU before they buy your product. So, polish up. Dress for the deal you want to close. It’s not just vanity It’s strategy #BrunoNwogu
Bro abeg, make you try shift your focus from desire to action, from ambition to curiosity, and from hard work to value creation because your desire will be tested, often in brutal ways. You have to become intensely curious not about what you need but about what the world needs and how you can fulfill that need. Find out what gaps exist in your industry or community? How can you offer something so valuable, so transformative, that people cannot ignore it? So you have to develop a unique and compelling value, I say this because the world pays for uniqueness, mastery, and innovation. (U+M =I). If you are offering the same thing as everyone else, you can be easily replaced. Then, if you want the world to reward the value you bring, then your unique ideas, products, or services must transform lives or create something entirely new. #Oluwaisinvolved #thebillionairejourney
