🌟 New article on our website 🐈‍⬛ Black Panther Party: Self-Defense and the Experience of Communal Organization at the Center of Capitalism The article argues that the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense showed how communal, community-led organization could rapidly grow under conditions of intense racism and police violence—starting with legally grounded self-defense patrols and expanding into “Liberation Schools,” free breakfast programs, medical clinics, and other practical support that helped people organize daily life.
