Rio de Janeiro: Red Command members attempt to take down police drone Here, members of the Red Command (CV 🚩) can be seen monitoring the activity of a police drone in the Penha complex. One gang member can be seen using a drone detector, alerting his friends to the location of the drone. A CV member can then be seen bringing out a C-UAS system, handing it over to another member who begins to suppress the police drone, initiating the emergency landing feature where the drone returns to the home point. The footage isn’t clear enough for a positive ID on the C-UAS system, however, it is likely a Chinese TelSig anti-drone gun model, several of which have been recovered in Rio de Janeiro, from both CV and rival TCP gang members. Rio de Janeiro 🇧🇷: TCP members from the Israel Complex went to Jardim América and killed rival CV 🚩trafficker "Mano Rei" They recovered an AR pattern rifle with a 100 round drum magazine (and no iron sights) which was displayed online. More interestingly, multiple DJI Mavic 4 Pro Parallel Charging Hubs can be seen in the background, showing how common drones are becoming in RJ.

Rio de Janeiro 🇧🇷: Pre-WW2 ZB vz. 26 machine gun seen with CV member In the Alemão (German) complex, a member of the Red Command (CV 🚩) can be seen on the back of a bike, carrying a Czechoslovak ZB-26 light machine gun. It can be seen with a customised German flag magazine, representing the German complex, which is a particular CV stronghold. The ZB-26 was supplied to Brazil in 1930, another relic of the past which is still seeing action in the streets of Brazil, along with Browning Automatic Rifles and Madsen machine guns (one of which was recovered yesterday).

It is equipped with a rotating turret where a .50 cal Barrett M82CQ can be seen, as well as an M249 Para. Sinaloa: Sicario nearly steps on a landmine In this video, a sicario from the Grupo H12 (Cabreras/Mayiza) shows a landmine he claims to have nearly stepped on. The top of the mine can be seen protruding from the ground, with multiple push button switches acting as pressure initiators. Year after year, Sinaloa is the Mexican state with the most IEDs recovered. 2025 alone was higher than the previous five years in terms of IEDs recovered throughout Mexico. Rio de Janeiro 🇧🇷 : Drone and explosives recovered Military police from the 31st battalion arrested two suspects after responding to reports of clashes between gang members in Vargem Grande. What they recovered included a DJI Matrice 4T/E drone, RC 2 Plus controller and six improvised explosives. Judging by the style of the explosives, the gang members arrested were likely from the Red Command (CV), who have been seen using these explosives in recent weeks. CV members have dropped these same explosives targeting rival militiamen, and another DJI Matrice 4 drone carrying one of the explosives was shot down by rival members of TCP (see previous posts).

The SkyFend Hunter Slide 1 shows a CJNG sicario in Michoacán, using a SkyFend Hunter C-UAS system with a makeshift sling. Looking at the interface, the system is detecting a DJI drone. Slides 2 and 3 show selfies of another CJNG sicario, with a SkyFend Hunter visible in the background. SkyFend, a supplier to the Mexican military and law enforcement, is considered a higher end provider than some of the more common C-UAS systems seen with cartels. Dozens of SkyFend Hunters have been spotted in cartel hands in the last year or so, as well as other SkyFend C-UAS systems.
