Cega’s original vision was to build the next evolution in DeFi derivatives. Today, we are excited to announce that we’ve been acquired by a leading platform to continue driving this vision forward. Our team is immensely proud to have been the first to bring exotic options to DeFi, to have processed half a billion in volume, and to safely protect user funds for 3 years. With the acquisition, Cega will be sunsetting our product suite through EOY. All user funds remain safe. New deposits will not be accepted into Cega products after this Wednesday 11/27 at 2pm UTC. All existing queued deposits will be processed as normal. All current users should start queuing withdrawals in-app (processed upon trade expiry). Any vault funds that roll-over after 11/27 will not be traded for compounding yield. Withdrawal operations will continue to run normally and there will be no impact to users’ ability to withdraw.
