📖⚔️ MID-ACTS RIGHT DIVISION AND THE KING JAMES BIBLE ARE CONSTANTLY ATTACKED Have you noticed how quickly people become angry when you mention rightly dividing the Word of Truth, the distinctive apostleship of Paul, the mystery revealed through Paul, or standing exclusively upon the King James Bible? The attacks can become personal very quickly. But insults do not determine truth. SCRIPTURE DOES. 🟣 RIGHT DIVISION IS BIBLE LANGUAGE We did not invent the phrase “rightly dividing.” 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV «“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”» Right division does not mean throwing away parts of the Bible. ALL Scripture is profitable. 2 Timothy 3:16 KJV «“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”» But all Scripture being FOR our learning does not mean every instruction is written TO the Body of Christ for obedience today. That distinction changes everything. 🔵 PROPHECY AND MYSTERY MUST NOT BE CONFUSED Peter preached concerning things: Acts 3:21 KJV «“...which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.”» Paul writes concerning: Romans 16:25 KJV «“...the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,”» Read those carefully. 📖 SPOKEN SINCE THE WORLD BEGAN. 📖 KEPT SECRET SINCE THE WORLD BEGAN. Those cannot mean the same thing. Right division allows both passages to mean exactly what they say. 🟢 PAUL WAS GIVEN A DISPENSATION Some people attack the word “dispensation” as though dispensationalists invented it. The KJV says: Ephesians 3:2 KJV «“If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:”» Paul also declares: Romans 11:13 KJV «“For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:”» Paul's apostleship was not man's invention. The risen, glorified Lord Jesus Christ appointed Paul. And Paul says: 1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV «“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”» Following Paul according to Scripture is therefore not replacing Christ with Paul. We follow Paul because Paul followed Christ and Christ gave Paul his apostleship. 🟡 ISRAEL AND THE BODY OF CHRIST ARE NOT THE SAME THING Paul says: 1 Corinthians 12:27 KJV «“Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.”» The Body of Christ is God's one new man: Ephesians 2:15 KJV «“...for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;”» When Israel's prophetic program and the revelation of the mystery are blended together, doctrinal confusion follows. ⚔️ Law gets mixed with grace. ⚔️ Israel gets mixed with the Body of Christ. ⚔️ Prophecy gets mixed with mystery. ⚔️ Kingdom instructions get applied indiscriminately to the Body of Christ. Right division resolves the confusion without changing a single word of Scripture. 🟣 LAW AND GRACE ARE NOT THE SAME Romans 6:14 KJV «“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”» That distinction came from Scripture — not from a denominational system. We are living under grace. Our standing before God is not based upon our religious performance. It is based upon the finished work of Jesus Christ. ❤️ THE GOSPEL THAT SAVES TODAY Paul declares the gospel in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV. Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. And: Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV «“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”» That is the glorious gospel of the grace of God. 🔵 THE KING JAMES BIBLE IS CONSTANTLY ATTACKED TOO Those of us who stand upon the King James Bible regularly hear accusations that its wording is wrong, outdated, mistranslated, or supposedly responsible for false doctrine. Interestingly, when a KJV reading contradicts someone's theological system, too often the first reaction is to correct the Bible rather than correct the theology. Our position is different: 📖 LET THE BIBLE CORRECT US. We do not need to rewrite God's Word until it agrees with our doctrine. Our doctrine must agree with God's Word. Isaiah 40:8 KJV «“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”» 🟢 DISAGREEMENT DOES NOT REQUIRE HATRED Someone is free to disagree with Mid-Acts Right Division. Someone is free to disagree with our KJV position. Bring your Bible. Show the passages. Examine the context. Compare Scripture with Scripture. But calling believers “demonic,” “wicked,” “stupid,” or other hateful names proves absolutely nothing about doctrine. An insult is not biblical exegesis. Name-calling is not a Scripture reference. Mockery is not evidence. 📖 WHAT SAITH THE SCRIPTURE? That is what matters. 🔥 WE WILL NOT ABANDON BIBLE TRUTH BECAUSE IT IS UNPOPULAR The more people attack right division, the more carefully we should study it. The more people attack the King James Bible, the more firmly we should know what we believe and why. We are not here to win popularity contests. 📖 “RIGHTLY DIVIDING” IS NOT A MISTRANSLATION — IT IS THE WORDING OF THE KING JAMES BIBLE I recently received this comment on my YouTube teaching “9 Reasons to Rightly Divide”: «“'Rightly Dividing', is one of 7000 wicked false mistranslations of the KJV. God hates division, and His Word is not to be butchered by demonic Dispensationalists.”» That comment gives us an excellent opportunity to demonstrate why context matters and why 2 Timothy 2:15 says exactly what it says. 🔵 FIRST: “RIGHTLY DIVIDING” IS LITERALLY IN THE KJV 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV «“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”» You can dislike dispensationalism. You can disagree with Mid-Acts Right Division. But you cannot honestly claim that the phrase “rightly dividing” is not in the King James Bible. It is right there in the verse. And notice something else: Paul does not merely say read the word of truth. He says to be a workman who is “rightly dividing the word of truth.” 🟣 “GOD HATES DIVISION” DOES NOT CANCEL 2 TIMOTHY 2:15 This objection confuses two completely different meanings of “division.” Yes, Paul condemns sinful divisions among believers: 1 Corinthians 1:10 KJV «“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you...”» But does that mean Scripture contains no distinctions that must be recognized? Of course not. Paul himself tells us: 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV «“...rightly dividing the word of truth.”» One passage concerns carnal divisions among believers. The other concerns proper handling of God's word. They are not contradictions. 🟢 THE BIBLE ITSELF MAKES DISTINCTIONS Paul distinguishes between law and grace: Romans 6:14 KJV «“...for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”» Paul distinguishes between prophecy and the revelation of the mystery. Peter says: Acts 3:21 KJV «“Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.”» Compare that with Paul's words: Romans 16:25 KJV «“...according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,”» ⚡ SPOKEN SINCE THE WORLD BEGAN. ⚡ KEPT SECRET SINCE THE WORLD BEGAN. Those statements are different. Right division recognizes the difference instead of forcing everything into one undivided program. 🟡 PAUL WAS GIVEN A DISPENSATION Some people use “dispensation” as though it were an evil word invented by theologians. But the KJV itself uses the word. 1 Corinthians 9:17 KJV «“...a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.”» And again: Ephesians 3:2 KJV «“If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:”» So calling dispensational teaching “demonic” does not answer the verses. The question is not whether someone dislikes the word dispensation. The question is: 📖 WHAT SAITH THE SCRIPTURE? 🔵 PAUL'S APOSTLESHIP MATTERS Paul explicitly identifies his office: Romans 11:13 KJV «“For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:”» And Paul says: 1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV «“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”» This does not make Paul greater than Christ. Paul's authority came from the risen, glorified Lord Jesus Christ. Paul received revelation concerning the Body of Christ and the dispensation of the grace of God. 🟣 THE BODY OF CHRIST IS NOT ISRAEL Paul writes: 1 Corinthians 12:27 KJV «“Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.”» And: Ephesians 2:15 KJV «“...for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;”» God's prophetic purpose concerning Israel should not be confused with the mystery concerning the Body of Christ. That distinction does not “butcher” Scripture. It allows Scripture to stand exactly as God gave it. 🔴 WITHOUT RIGHT DIVISION, CONTRADICTIONS ARE CREATED WHERE NONE EXIST One passage says: 💧 “Repent, and be baptized...” — Acts 2:38 Paul later says: ✝️ “Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel...” — 1 Corinthians 1:17 One program operates under covenant promises concerning Israel. Paul declares: 🕊️ “ye are not under the law, but under grace.” — Romans 6:14 The solution is not to erase verses. The solution is not to rewrite verses. The solution is to determine who is speaking, to whom, under what program, and for what purpose. That is why right division matters. 🟢 AND WHAT IS THE GOSPEL THAT SAVES TODAY? Paul states it plainly: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV «“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel...”» Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose again the third day according to the scriptures. And Paul writes: Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV «“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”» Salvation today is by grace through faith, resting in the finished work of Christ — not religious works, ceremonies, denominational traditions, or human merit. 🟡 DISAGREEMENT IS NOT AN ARGUMENT Calling believers “demonic” does not refute a doctrine. Calling the KJV wording “wicked” does not explain 2 Timothy 2:15. Saying “God hates division” does not erase the distinctions God Himself placed in His word. If someone believes right division is wrong, then demonstrate it from Scripture, in context. 📖 2 TIMOTHY 2:15 KJV STILL SAYS: «“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”» ✨ ALL THE BIBLE IS FOR OUR LEARNING — BUT NOT EVERY INSTRUCTION IN THE BIBLE IS WRITTEN DIRECTLY TO THE BODY OF CHRIST FOR OUR OBEDIENCE TODAY. That distinction is essential. We do not throw away the rest of Scripture. We rightly divide it. ⚔️ PROPHECY ≠ MYSTERY ⚔️ ISRAEL ≠ THE BODY OF CHRIST ⚔️ LAW ≠ GRACE ⚔️ PETER'S APOSTLESHIP ≠ PAUL'S APOSTLESHIP ⚔️ RIGHT DIVISION ≠ SINFUL DIVISION 📖 “RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH.” — 2 TIMOTHY 2:15 KJV ✝️ CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST 💜 Standing on the King James Bible and rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐁𝐲 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧 You desire to lead the church. What should you wear? Under Israel’s law there were rules about what to wear (Deu 22:11). Unfortunately, God was silent about Hawaiian shirts and low sagging pants. But now you are not under law, but under grace (Rom 6:14-15). Under grace, you understand that just as a required tithe does not make someone generous, a required dress code does not change the person underneath. Does this mean how you present yourself does not matter? 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮 Does grace change what you wear? Why shouldn’t it? It changes you. People change what they wear all the time, and no one tells them they must. They purpose it all by themselves. Attire changes when people expect to sit and watch the game, to show respect at a wedding or funeral, to get dirty doing yard work, to present themselves professionally for job interviews, or to be taken seriously in their occupation. What you wear is personal. Clothes change depending on the task you perform and how you want to present yourself. Why wouldn’t you consider your position and tasks as a member of the body of Christ any different? You should dress according as you purpose in your heart under grace. Now, who has God made you in Christ? In Christ you are a new creature, a saint of God, a member of His body, a servant of righteousness, to do the work of the ministry. Grace teaches us to put off the old man and put on the new man (Eph 4:22-24). Grace teaches us to be an example to the believers in purity (1 Tim 4:12); not to be a stumbling block (Rom 14:13); and that there is apparel which is becoming the saint(1 Tim 2:9). It would be wrong to place our wardrobe back under the law but would be just as wrong to ignore what is edifying for the sake of personal liberty (1 Cor 6:15; Gal 5:13). This would be a disservice to who God has made you to be. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝 It is always wrong to attach spiritual significance to physical things like clothes. What you wear does not change your position in Christ, but dressing the part requires knowing what position you are taking. How should we dress? Paul wore robes and was found in nakedness (not a desirable condition 2 Cor 11:27 and 2 Cor 5:3). Christ was stripped of his clothes before he hung on the cross. Nothing we wear down here will compare to the glory we shall put on in heavenly places (1 Cor 15:53; 2 Cor 5:2). Until then, when we assume the most important task left us of edifying members of the Body, leading the church, preaching God’s words, dress like you are going to a funeral, because you should reckon yourself dead. Dress like you are going to a wedding, because you wish to respect the two that have become one (Eph 5:32). Dress like you are addressing the United Nations (gentiles), because you are an ambassador for the Lord Jesus Christ to all men. Dress like you take what you are doing seriously, giving respect to the doctrine, the people, and the work. Never present yourself as if who you are in Christ and what you are doing does not matter. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐃𝐨 Clothes cannot save you or put you in Christ, but they can set you apart from the crowd. What we wear does not change who we are, but it can speak to whom we represent. Raiment cannot change our behavior, but it can change the respect we give and receive. Apparel cannot ordain authority or give confidence, but it can communicate it. You are not under the law about what to wear. When Paul talks about physical adornment he speaks of adorning the doctrine not the man. What you wear should start with putting on Christ in your inner man. Never take a stand in church without putting on the whole armour of God which is the truth (Eph 6:11-18). Then with a heart prepared by grace, with a purpose to stand for truth, knowing your position, you decide how to dress. If you want to adorn right doctrine, purpose in your heart to respect the role you are taking by dressing appropriately (1 Tim 3:1-10). If you are not yet ready to take such a role, then know that grace has changed you. Is grace changing what you put on (Col 3:10-14)?

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐬 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐁𝐲 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧 When most people open their Bible, they are looking for divine advice, not to study line upon line. For this reason, many make Proverbs their favorite book of the Bible. Being a book of wisdom, Proverbs is chock full of godly maxims in list form. Its 31 chapters have created the ever fashionable ‘Proverb a day to keep the devil away’ reading plan. Despite the truth and spiritual profit that can be gained from this book, the unashamed workman must recognize that the book of Proverbs is the wisdom given to Solomon under the law dispensation with Israel. Solomon did not have the hidden wisdom of God according to the mystery of Christ (1 Cor 2:7). This means Proverbs would be the wrong pattern for the church today. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐬 Wisdom for Israel was found in obeying the law of God (Prov 28:7). Proverbs instructs to obey the law and keep the commandments given to Israel’s fathers. “My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.” – Proverbs 3:1-2 Like Leviticus 18:5, Proverbs explains that keeping God’s commandments is where life is found (Prov 4:4). Like in Deuteronomy 6:8, Proverbs instructs to bind the law to your hands and eyes (Prov 7:2-4). In one popular verse used by preachers about vision the verse finishes by describing law-keeping as the content of their vision. “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” – Proverbs 29:18 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐬 Any study of Israel’s promises and prophecies will recognize the importance of their land. Proverbs is no different, mentioning many times how the righteous will inherit the land. “For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.” – Proverbs 2:21-22 That this land is speaking about Israel’s kingdom should be obvious from the statements that describe the wicked as not inheriting the earth. “The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.” – Proverbs 10:30 Israel’s land was important, and walking in wisdom was important for their land to be preserved forever (Prov 22:28; Prov 23:10; Prov 29:14). 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐬 God made a covenant with no other nation like he did with Israel. They had special privileges and provisions based upon their covenant with God. Of course, these covenant blessings under the law were conditioned on their behavior. For example, they were promised protection (Prov 2:7-8), length of days (Prov 3:16-17), reward (Prov 13:13), health (Prov 4:22), wealth (Prov 10:22; Prov 22:4), and answered prayers (Prov 1024; Prov15:29). Of course, all of these provisions of physical prosperity and protection were conditioned upon their uprightness, righteousness, and obedience, else curses and wrath would fall upon them. “Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.” – Proverbs 13:13 “The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.” – Prov 3:33 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐬 Like the law, Proverbs is holy, just, and good, but also like the law there is no justifying the ungodly or sinner in Proverbs (Prov 11:5-6). Repeatedly, the judgment given in Proverbs is according to works, and not the grace of God according to Paul’s gospel. “He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.” – Prov 19:16 “…shall not he render to every man according to his works?” – Proverbs 24:12 The wise men in Proverbs needed to confess their sins (Prov 28:13), depart from evil (Prov 16:17), be righteous for God to hear their prayers (Prov 15:29), and be humble and fear the Lord in order to receive life (Prov 22:4). All of these conditions are what we would expect to find in a book operating under the law written to men under God’s conditional covenant. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 There is much useful spiritual wisdom found in Proverbs, just like what is taught in the law, or in the Lord’s earthly ministry. It is profitable for our learning but must be rightly divided if we are going to stand today in the riches of God’s grace. When the Lord revealed the mystery of Christ to the apostle Paul, he abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence (Eph 1:8-9). The treasures of wisdom and knowledge are now found in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is wiser than Solomon (Col 2:2). We have a more excellent wisdom not found anywhere in Proverbs, nor known by Solomon, but revealed in the mystery. “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:” – 1 Corinthians 2:7 “To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,” – Ephesians 3:10 Whereas the wisdom in Proverbs loves those that love it (Prov 8:17; John 14:23), according to the wisdom of God today he commends his love by justifying the ungodly by his grace (Rom 4:5; Rom 5:8). The mystery of Christ remained hidden in God at the time Proverbs was written (Eph 3:9). Proverbs gives wise instruction to sons in Israel under a covenant. It is not a curriculum for growing the church today in wisdom. Going back to Proverbs to find instruction for the church is akin to going back under the law. Our pattern is found in Paul’s epistles alone, as the apostle and dispenser of the hidden wisdom of God for the church today (Eph 3:7; 1 Cor 9:17; Col 1:25). “Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.” – 2 Tim 2:7

The Holy Spirit places you into Christ and His Body. 📖 Galatians 3:27 KJV “For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” 📖 Romans 6:3 KJV “Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?” The Body’s baptism is a spiritual identification accomplished by God. ⚔️ EIGHTH — DON’T FREEZE PAUL IN ACTS! 🧊📖 This is where so much confusion begins. Someone finds Paul doing something during Acts and declares: “SEE?! THAT’S OUR DOCTRINE!” 🚨 No. Acts records Paul during a transition. You cannot freeze Paul at Acts 16 and ignore Romans–Philemon. You cannot freeze Paul water baptizing while ignoring: 📖 “Christ sent me not to baptize.” You cannot freeze Paul circumcising Timothy while ignoring: 📖 Galatians 5:2 KJV “…if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.” You cannot freeze historical practice and then use it to override revealed doctrine. 🔥 PROGRESSIVE REVELATION MATTERS. ⚔️ NINTH — SO WHAT DOES “FOLLOW PAUL” ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE? 👣🔥 Following Paul means: ✅ Believe the gospel Paul preached. 📖 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. ✅ Rest completely in grace apart from works. 📖 Ephesians 2:8-9 ✅ Understand your identity in Christ. 📖 Ephesians 1–3 ✅ Present your body as a living sacrifice. 📖 Romans 12:1-2 ✅ Walk in the Spirit. 📖 Galatians 5:16 ✅ Let sound doctrine renew your mind. 📖 Romans 12:2 ✅ Forgive as God has already forgiven you. 📖 Ephesians 4:32 ✅ Speak grace to others. 📖 Colossians 4:6 ✅ Study and rightly divide Scripture. 📖 2 Timothy 2:15 ✅ Preach the Word. Rebuke. Reprove. Exhort. 📖 2 Timothy 4:2 ✅ Make all men see the fellowship of the Mystery. 📖 Ephesians 3:9 ✅ Function as an ambassador for Christ. 📖 2 Corinthians 5:20 🔥 THAT is following Paul. Not recreating his travel itinerary. Not circumcising Timothy again. Not taking Jewish vows. Not participating in temple purification. And not dragging a transitional water ceremony into the settled doctrine of one spiritual baptism. ⚔️ TENTH — AND FOLLOWING PAUL ALWAYS LEADS YOU TO CHRIST ✝️🔥 Paul never wanted disciples devoted to his personality. He pointed believers to Christ. 📖 1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” That little phrase matters: 🔥 AS I ALSO AM OF CHRIST. Paul’s authority comes from Christ. Paul’s gospel came from Christ. Paul’s apostleship came from Christ. Paul’s revelation came from Christ. Paul’s commandments came from Christ. So following Paul according to Romans–Philemon is not replacing Jesus with Paul. 🔥 IT IS FOLLOWING THE RISEN JESUS CHRIST ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS HE GAVE THE BODY OF CHRIST THROUGH OUR APOSTLE. ❌ Following Paul does NOT mean copying every action Paul performed. ❌ It does NOT mean every event in Acts becomes an ordinance. ❌ It does NOT mean Paul outranks Christ. ✅ It means recognizing the apostle Christ appointed to reveal His present instructions for the Body of Christ. ✨🔥 THE BOTTOM LINE 🔥✨ “Paul did it in Acts” is not enough to establish doctrine for us today. Ask the better question: 🔥 WHAT DOES PAUL TEACH THE BODY OF CHRIST IN ROMANS THROUGH PHILEMON? Paul circumcised. Paul took a vow. Paul participated in purification. Paul water baptized some people. Yet none of those facts alone makes those practices commandments for us. FOLLOW PAUL” DOESN’T MEAN COPY EVERY ACTION PAUL EVER TOOK! 👣📖 (Following Paul means following the doctrine Christ gave through him — not reenacting every transitional event in Acts.) (KJV / Mid-Acts 9 / Rightly Divided) 🔥 One of the most common objections to Mid-Acts right division sounds like this: “But Paul did it in Acts! And Paul said, ‘Follow me as I follow Christ!’ So we should do everything Paul did!” 🚨 That sounds convincing until you actually apply that reasoning consistently. Paul did indeed say: 📖 1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” But Paul did NOT say: ❌ Copy every historical action I ever performed. ❌ Recreate every transitional circumstance recorded in Acts. ❌ Practice every Jewish custom I participated in. ❌ Freeze my ministry at one moment in Acts and ignore the doctrine Christ later gave through me. ✅ We follow Paul according to the doctrine, pattern, and revelation entrusted to him by the risen Lord Jesus Christ. And for the Body of Christ, that doctrine is found in Romans through Philemon. ⚔️ FIRST — PAUL IS OUR PATTERN BECAUSE CHRIST MADE HIM OUR APOSTLE 🔥 Paul did not appoint himself. The risen Christ personally saved him, commissioned him, and sent him. 📖 Romans 11:13 KJV “…inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:” Paul’s apostleship matters. 📖 1 Timothy 1:16 KJV “Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.” 🔥 Paul is a PATTERN. But what are we following? His haircut? His travel routes? His tentmaking profession? Every Jewish observance he temporarily participated in? Of course not. We follow the doctrine and pattern Christ committed to him for us. 📖 1 Corinthians 4:16-17 KJV “Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus… who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.” Notice that. 🔥 “MY WAYS WHICH BE IN CHRIST.” Paul connects following him with what he TEACHES. ⚔️ SECOND — ACTS RECORDS A TRANSITION; IT IS NOT A LIST OF BODY-OF-CHRIST ORDINANCES 🚨 Acts is inspired Scripture. Acts is profitable Scripture. But Acts is primarily historical narrative recording enormous dispensational transition. If your rule is: “Paul did it in Acts, therefore the Body of Christ must do it today,” then prepare to follow that rule consistently. Paul water baptized people. 📖 Acts 16:33 Okay. But Paul also circumcised Timothy. 📖 Acts 16:3 KJV “Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters…” 👀 Are saved men supposed to be circumcised because Paul did it? ❌ No. Paul also took a Jewish vow. 📖 Acts 18:18 KJV “…having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.” Should we establish a doctrine requiring believers to shave their heads and take vows? ❌ No. Paul also entered into Jewish purification at Jerusalem. 📖 Acts 21:26 KJV “Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple…” Should the Body of Christ return to temple purification? ❌ Absolutely not. 🔥 So merely saying “PAUL DID IT!” proves nothing about whether something is our present instruction. You must ask: What did Paul TEACH the Body of Christ? That is precisely why we must rightly divide. 📖 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” ⚔️ THIRD — PAUL HIMSELF DISTINGUISHED WATER BAPTISM FROM HIS COMMISSION 💧❌ This is where the water-baptism argument falls apart. Yes, Paul baptized some people during the Acts transition. Paul freely admits it. 📖 1 Corinthians 1:14 KJV “I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;” Then Paul mentions the household of Stephanas. But look at his conclusion: 📖 1 Corinthians 1:17 KJV “For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel…” 🔥🔥🔥 READ THAT AGAIN. CHRIST SENT ME NOT TO BAPTIZE. So when someone says: “Paul baptized, and Paul said follow me, therefore we should water baptize!” Paul himself answers the objection. Yes, he baptized during Acts. But water baptism was not part of the commission Christ ultimately entrusted to him. 🚨 Water baptism has NO place in our present dispensation and age of grace because there is only ONE baptism (1 Corinthians 12:13) which occurs the moment a person believes our gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 apart from all works. The Spirit baptism (Rom. 6:3-4; Eph. 4:5; Gal. 3:27; Col. 2:12). ❌ “Paul did it once.” does not override: ✅ “CHRIST SENT ME NOT TO BAPTIZE.” ⚔️ FOURTH — “FOLLOW PAUL” MEANS FOLLOW PAUL’S DOCTRINE 📖🔥 Paul repeatedly emphasizes doctrine. 📖 2 Timothy 3:10 KJV “But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience…” Notice what comes FIRST: 🔥 MY DOCTRINE. And Paul tells Timothy: 📖 2 Timothy 2:2 KJV “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men…” Paul is passing down revealed truth, not instructing future believers to recreate every event in his biography. Again: 📖 Philippians 3:17 KJV “Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.” This concerns the believer’s walk according to sound doctrine. Not blindly copying historical actions. ⚔️ FIFTH — PAUL’S WRITINGS ARE COMMANDMENTS FROM CHRIST ✝️➡️PAUL➡️US Some people respond: “I follow JESUS, not Paul!” That might sound spiritual, but it actually creates a serious problem. Who gave Paul his revelation? 🔥 JESUS CHRIST DID. 📖 Galatians 1:11-12 KJV “But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.” And Paul says something even stronger: 📖 1 Corinthians 14:37 KJV “If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.” 🔥 THERE IT IS. Paul’s instructions are not Paul competing with Jesus. They are Jesus Christ’s commandments given through His apostle for the Body of Christ. So: ❌ “Jesus versus Paul” is a completely false choice. ✅ The earthly Christ ministered to Israel. 📖 Romans 15:8 KJV “Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers.” And the risen, glorified Christ later revealed the Mystery through Paul. 📖 Romans 16:25 KJV “Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began.” SAME CHRIST. Different revelation according to God’s dispensational purpose. ⚔️ SIXTH — OUR DOCTRINAL INSTRUCTIONS ARE ROMANS THROUGH PHILEMON 📚🔥 All Scripture is inspired. All Scripture is profitable. 📖 2 Timothy 3:16 KJV But all Scripture is not written directly to the Body of Christ for obedience. Our apostle is Paul. Our doctrine concerning the Body of Christ is revealed through Paul’s epistles: 📖 ROMANS → PHILEMON That is where we learn: ✅ Our gospel. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) ✅ Our identity in Christ. ✅ Our spiritual baptism. (1 Corinthians 12:13) ✅ Our walk. ✅ Our ministry. (2 Cor. 5:18-21) ✅ Our spiritual warfare. (Eph. 6:10-18; 2 Cor. 10:4) ✅ Our heavenly position. (Phil. 3:20; Eph. 2:6) ✅ Our relationships. ✅ Our assembly doctrine. ✅ Our giving. ✅ Our service. ✅ Our hope. ✅ Our catching away. (1 Thess. 4:16-18; Titus 2:13) ✅ Our doctrine concerning grace. 🔥 THAT is how we “follow Paul.” We follow the doctrine Christ gave Paul for us. ⚔️ SEVENTH — THE ONE BAPTISM PAUL LEAVES US IS NOT WATER 💧❌🔥 As revelation progresses, Paul states: 📖 Ephesians 4:4-5 KJV “There is one body, and one Spirit… One Lord, one faith, one baptism.” Which baptism? Paul already explained: 📖 1 Corinthians 12:13 KJV “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body…” 🔥 THAT is our baptism. Not a preacher placing you into water.

𝟗 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐁𝐲 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧 When so many people seem to “get by” without the knowledge of the Bible rightly divided, it is tempting to think it does not matter greatly. Is rightly dividing the word of truth important? Why is it important to recognize the importance of progressive revelation and the special dispensation of grace in which we now live? Here are a few reasons. #𝟏 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 The church is facing a gospel crisis. No one can agree on what it is, or how to preach it. Christian catchphrases and slogans abound in personal testimonies causing serious doubt as to whether self-named Christians are actually trusting the gospel of Christ or not. People “receive Jesus”, “renounce sin”, and “believe God” without knowing the preaching of the cross. A failure to rightly divide often allows a cross-less gospel, which results in unsaved people thinking that they are. #𝟐 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 One major reason for people disbelieving the Bible is because of supposed contradictions. The vast majority of these apparent contradictions are resolved by rightly dividing the word of truth. Without right division, the Bible does not mean what it says, has mistakes, or worse, is not really the word of God. #𝟑 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 Biblical illiteracy is a direct result of not rightly dividing the word of truth. I have lost count of how many people have learned right division and say something like, “my eyes have been opened, I love studying the Bible now.” Conversely, people stop studying when they can’t understand. When the scriptures are dark trusting the “professionals” to interpret becomes necessary, which means personal Bible study ceases. #𝟒 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤 Spiritual growth can only happen after people are saved (see the first item above). After salvation, not rightly dividing can severely stunt spiritual growth. If a baby Christian thinks their growth is found in keeping the law of the red letters in Matthew 5, the persistent labour of Hebrews, James, or the sinlessness of 1 John, then they are in for trouble. A Christian saved by grace needs to walk in grace, and that instruction is found in Paul’s epistles alone. #𝟓 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 Unless you live under a rock, everyone knows there is financial fraud in what is now a multi-billion-dollar church industry. What is lesser known is that it is a direct result of wrong doctrine. You would not be the first or last Christian to place their last hope of financial deliverance on the manipulations and lies of pastors in sheep clothing that teach the law tithe principle instead of the dispensation of God’s grace toward giving. #𝟔 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐞 Understanding the dispensational change from law to grace will forever change the way you think about your relationship to your spouse and children. The graceless face of legalism too often dwells in Christian homes and marriages. When the mystery of Christ and the church is taught, legalism is evicted, and love can grow between people that would otherwise be incompatible. #𝟕 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 From avoiding medical help to placing all your hope in a healing, the faith of many is destroyed when bad things happen and loved ones die. Understanding what God is doing today (the dispensational question) gives you sufficient grace and wisdom to know how trouble can make your faith stronger instead of weaker. #𝟖 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 Well meaning Christians want to serve the Lord, but do not know his will. Waiting for signs that never come, assigning divine purpose to circumstances, or moving in the wrong direction, are all career mistakes that Christians face because of a failure to rightly divide. Learning God’s will is necessary for success in the Christian life. God’s will must be rightly divided. #𝟗 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 Perhaps your confusion about prayer is directly related to not understanding what God is doing today and why. After all, didn’t Jesus promise to give what we asked in his name? Once again, rightly dividing puts prayer in its proper place. … 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 This is only a brief list of why right division is important, but can there be any more important reasons? I could go on and on about your joy, your peace, your politics, your future, your hope, etc., but I ran out of fingers (I need one to type). I Love Judgment Myths and errors abound in the church about judgment. One such myth is the idea that to judge is ungodly or not Christ-like. The myth persists despite the New Testament declaring Christ as the Judge of all men and every apostle looking forward to the return of Christ to judge (2 Tim 4:1). From the mouth of the Son, Isaiah 61:8 says, “For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering...” David writes, “the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints” (Psalm 37:28). This must be why Jesus said, “judge righteous judgment” (John 7:24). In contrast, Christians today are commonly embarrassed by the idea of judgment, warn each other not to judge, and distance themselves from delighting in judgment (Isa 42:1). This is commonly done in the name of Christ, love, and grace. The church lacks judgment for sure. PAUL IS A PATTERN—A PATTERN OF WHAT? 👀📖 (Why Christ deliberately made Paul an example for those who would afterward believe) (KJV / Mid-Acts 9 / Rightly Divided) There is a HUGE RED FLAG 🚩 when someone professes to believe the Bible yet has a problem with Paul. Why? Because Paul did not appoint Paul. 🔥 THE RISEN, ASCENDED LORD JESUS CHRIST DID. 🔥 Rejecting Paul’s God-given apostleship and revelation is not merely rejecting “Paul’s opinion.” It ultimately means resisting the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ who sent him. And 1 Timothy 1:16 tells us something enormous: 📖 1 Timothy 1:16 KJV “Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.” Read those words carefully: ⚡️ IN ME FIRST. ⚡️ FOR A PATTERN. ⚡️ THEM WHICH SHOULD HEREAFTER BELIEVE. ⚡️ UNTO LIFE EVERLASTING. That language matters! 👀📖 ⚔️ FIRST — PAUL WASN’T MERELY ANOTHER MEMBER OF THE TWELVE Paul was not Israel’s replacement twelfth apostle. The Twelve already had their specific commission connected with Israel and her promised kingdom. 📖 Matthew 10:5-6 “Go not into the way of the Gentiles… But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” 📖 Matthew 19:28 Christ promised the Twelve that they would sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Their number, ministry, and commission were tied directly to ISRAEL. 🇮🇱 But Saul of Tarsus was confronted later by the risen and glorified Christ in Acts 9. 📖 Acts 9:15 “Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel.” 🔥 Something different was being revealed through this chosen vessel. ⚔️ SECOND — “IN ME FIRST” SHOULD MAKE YOU STOP AND THINK 👀 Paul doesn’t merely say, “God saved me too.” He writes: 📖 1 Timothy 1:16 “…that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering…” Why “first”? Why single Paul out? Why make him a pattern for people who would “hereafter believe”? This fits perfectly with Paul’s unique place in the unfolding revelation of the dispensation of the grace of God. 📖 Ephesians 3:1-2 “For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward…” Notice the direction: 🔥 CHRIST → PAUL → US Paul wasn’t inventing Christianity. Paul was receiving revelation from Jesus Christ. ⚔️ THIRD — PAUL IS A PATTERN OF CHRIST’S LONGSUFFERING AND GRACE Look at who Saul was before his salvation. 📖 1 Timothy 1:13 “Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious…” He wasn’t searching for Jesus. He wasn’t helping the apostles. He was persecuting Christ’s followers. (The Little Flock!) Yet instead of immediately pouring out deserved judgment, Christ interrupted him and showed him extraordinary mercy. 💥 A BLASPHEMER received mercy. 💥 A PERSECUTOR received grace. 💥 AN ENEMY was reconciled. 💥 A RELIGIOUS SINNER was saved. 💥 Then Christ made that very man “a pattern.” That is why Paul says Christ showed: 🔥 “ALL LONGSUFFERING.” Paul becomes a tremendous demonstration of what God is doing in this present dispensation: offering reconciliation rather than immediately executing the prophetic judgment Israel and the world deserved. 📖 2 Corinthians 5:19 “God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them…” ⚔️ FOURTH — PAUL’S PATTERN POINTS TO THOSE WHO WOULD “HEREAFTER BELIEVE” This part cannot simply be brushed aside: 📖 1 Timothy 1:16 “…for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.” 👀 HEREAFTER. Paul’s conversion wasn’t merely an interesting biography. God explicitly says Christ made something about Paul PATTERN-WORTHY for subsequent believers. And what do Paul’s epistles continually teach concerning salvation? ❌ Not law-keeping. ❌ Not circumcision. ❌ Not water baptism. ❌ Not selling possessions. ❌ Not enduring to the end for salvation. ❌ Not religious works. ✅ GRACE THROUGH FAITH. 📖 Romans 4:5 “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” 📖 Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith… Not of works, lest any man should boast.” That harmonizes beautifully with Paul being the pattern of Christ’s extraordinary grace and longsuffering toward those who would afterward believe. 🔥 ⚔️ FIFTH — PAUL RECEIVED A REVELATION THAT HAD BEEN KEPT SECRET 🤫📖 This is where rightly dividing becomes indispensable. Peter describes Israel’s prophetic hope as something: 📖 Acts 3:21 “…which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.” But Paul describes his revelation as: 📖 Romans 16:25 “…the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began…” 🚨 SPOKEN SINCE THE WORLD BEGAN is not the same description as 🔥 KEPT SECRET SINCE THE WORLD BEGAN. Paul explains further: 📖 Ephesians 3:3 “How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery…” 📖 Ephesians 3:5 “Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men…” 📖 Ephesians 3:9 “…the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God…” This is why you cannot simply blend everything together and call every commission, gospel proclamation, baptism, and instruction identical. ⚔️ DISTINCTION IS NOT CONTRADICTION. It is rightly dividing the unfolding revelation of God. ⚔️ SIXTH — HAVING A PROBLEM WITH PAUL IS A MASSIVE RED FLAG 🚩 There is an increasingly common attitude that sounds like: ❌ “I follow Jesus, not Paul.” That sounds spiritual until you realize Jesus Christ Himself sent Paul. Paul writes: 📖 Galatians 1:11-12 “The gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.” And: 📖 1 Corinthians 14:37 “…let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.” 🔥 THERE IT IS. You cannot pit Jesus against Paul when the glorified Jesus is the One who gave Paul his revelation. You don’t honor Christ by rejecting the apostle Christ commissioned. And Paul even tells believers: 📖 1 Corinthians 11:1 “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” 📖 Philippians 3:17 “Brethren, be followers together of me…” That isn’t Paul stealing Christ’s glory. It is Paul fulfilling the position Christ gave him. ⚔️ SEVENTH — THIS DOES NOT MEAN WE THROW AWAY THE REST OF THE BIBLE! 📖 This accusation needs to die. Right division does NOT mean: ❌ “Only Paul matters.” ❌ “Matthew through Acts is useless.” ❌ “Hebrews through Revelation should be removed.” Absolutely not. 📖 Romans 15:4 “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning…” 📖 2 Timothy 3:16 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable…” 🔥 ALL SCRIPTURE IS FOR US. But all Scripture is not necessarily TO us as our direct dispensational instructions. We learn from Genesis through Revelation while recognizing the distinctions God Himself placed in His Word. Our doctrine and instructions for the Body of Christ are found in Romans through Philemon, the epistles of the apostle Christ commissioned for the Gentiles in this dispensation. ⚔️ EIGHTH — AND PAUL’S GOSPEL MUST NEVER BE LOST IN THE DISCUSSION ❤️📖 The purpose of understanding Paul’s ministry isn’t merely winning a dispensational debate. SOULS NEED THE GOSPEL. No works means no works! 📖 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. Salvation today is: ❌ NOT earned. ❌ NOT maintained by works. ❌ NOT obtained through water baptism. ❌ NOT achieved through religious performance. 🔥 CHRIST DID THE WORK. 📖 Ephesians 1:13 Upon hearing “the gospel of your salvation” and believing, the believer is “sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.” 📖 Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith… Not of works…” ✨🔥 THE BOTTOM LINE 🔥✨ Why does 1 Timothy 1:16 matter so much? Because Paul tells you exactly why Christ showed him mercy: ⚔️ “IN ME FIRST” ⚔️ “FOR A PATTERN” ⚔️ “THEM WHICH SHOULD HEREAFTER BELIEVE” ⚔️ “TO LIFE EVERLASTING”
