Many people are quick to point out the sins of others 👈 while ignoring their own sins 👉. Paul writes: 📖 "Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself..." (Romans 2:1 KJV) 🔥 It is easy to condemn someone else's failures. 🔥 It is harder to examine our own hearts. 🔥 God sees what nobody else sees. The Lord is not fooled by religious appearances, church membership, traditions, titles, or outward ceremonies. 👑 God sees the heart. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⚖️ 𝐆𝐎𝐃'𝐒 𝐉𝐔𝐃𝐆𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐓𝐇 📖 "But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth..." (Romans 2:2) People judge by appearance. 😎 Man looks at reputation. 💰 Man looks at wealth. 🏛 Man looks at status. 🎭 Man looks at outward religion. But God judges according to truth. Nothing is hidden from Him. 🔍 Every thought. 🔍 Every motive. 🔍 Every secret sin. 🔍 Every hidden attitude. One day all will be revealed before the righteous Judge. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 💖 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐒 𝐓𝐎 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 📖 "The goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance." (Romans 2:4) Many think God's patience means God approves of sin. ❌ Wrong. God is longsuffering. God is merciful. God is patient. But His patience is giving people time to repent, not permission to continue in rebellion. 🙏 Every day of life is another opportunity to turn to God's truth. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⚠️ 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐎𝐁𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐈𝐒 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐘 The Jews in Romans 2 had the Law. 📜 They knew the commandments. 📜 They taught others. 📜 They boasted in God. Yet many were breaking the very things they preached. Paul asks: ❓ Thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? ❓ Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? 🔥 Knowledge alone is not enough. Knowing the truth and refusing to follow it only increases accountability. God is not impressed by what we claim. God is interested in what is true. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ❤️ 𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐀 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐃 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 The chapter ends with a profound truth. 📖 "For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly..." (Romans 2:28) Paul explains that true righteousness is not merely outward. It is not about ceremonies. It is not about rituals. It is not about religious appearances. 💖 God looks for a heart that believes Him. 📖 "But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart..." (Romans 2:29) The issue has always been the heart. ✨ A changed heart. ✨ A believing heart. ✨ A heart that desires God's truth. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📣 𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐋𝐘 𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐓𝐇 As we continue into Romans, Paul is building the case that: ❌ The Gentile is guilty. ❌ The religious person is guilty. ❌ The moral person is guilty. ❌ The Jew is guilty. 📖 Romans 3 will conclude: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) No one is justified by their own goodness. 🙏 Our only hope is the Lord Jesus Christ. Today, under God's grace, salvation is found by trusting the gospel that Paul preached: 📖 "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV) ✨ Stop trusting religion. ✨ Stop trusting works. ✨ Stop comparing yourself to others. Trust Christ alone. ❤️ Because God does not merely look at the outside. 🔥 He looks at the heart.

PAUL LAID THE FOUNDATION—WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING ON IT?! 🧱🔥 (OTHER FOUNDATION CAN NO MAN LAY!) (KJV / Mid-Acts 9 / Rightly Divided) You cannot build sound doctrine on the wrong foundation and expect the structure to stand. 🏗📖 Paul tells the Corinthians something incredibly important: 📖 1 Corinthians 3:10 (KJV) “According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.” Notice that carefully! 👀🔥 Paul says: 🧱 “I HAVE LAID THE FOUNDATION.” And then: ⚠️ “LET EVERY MAN TAKE HEED HOW HE BUILDETH THEREUPON.” That means once the foundation has been laid, WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BUILD UPON IT—not abandon it and start constructing somewhere else! ⚔️ FIRST — JESUS CHRIST IS THE FOUNDATION! ✝️🔥 Paul immediately explains: 📖 1 Corinthians 3:11 “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” So don’t misunderstand Paul. ❌ Paul isn’t replacing Jesus Christ. ❌ Paul isn’t making himself the Saviour. ❌ Paul isn’t saying, “Build your faith upon me instead of Christ.” 🔥 JESUS CHRIST IS THE FOUNDATION! But according to verse 10, PAUL IS THE WISE MASTERBUILDER WHO LAID THAT FOUNDATION ACCORDING TO THE GRACE GIVEN TO HIM. That distinction matters! ⚔️📖 The question isn’t: “Paul or Jesus?” The question is: 🔥 HOW DOES THE RISEN JESUS CHRIST TELL THE BODY OF CHRIST TO UNDERSTAND AND BUILD UPON HIM? And Paul’s answer is: 📖 according to the revelation committed to him! ⚔️ SECOND — PAUL DIDN’T INVENT THE BLUEPRINT! 📜🔥 Look again: 📖 1 Corinthians 3:10 “According to the grace of God which is given unto me…” Paul didn’t wake up one morning and invent Christianity. 🤦🏻‍♀️ His apostleship, gospel, and revelation came from Jesus Christ Himself. 📖 Galatians 1:11-12 “But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.” 🔥 THERE IT IS! Paul’s doctrine isn’t: 👨 Man’s opinion. 🏛 Denominational tradition. 📚 Theological speculation. It was given by: ✝️ THE RISEN, GLORIFIED LORD JESUS CHRIST! So when we follow Paul’s doctrine, we aren’t choosing Paul instead of Christ. 🔥 WE ARE OBEYING CHRIST’S REVELATION THROUGH PAUL! ⚔️ THIRD — PAUL IS OUR APOSTLE! 📖🌎 Paul plainly says: 📖 Romans 11:13 “..inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:” Why would God identify Paul’s office if apostleship didn’t matter? 🤔 Because it DOES matter! Paul was given a particular stewardship: 📖 Ephesians 3:2 “If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:” Given to Paul… ➡️ TO US-WARD! 🔥 That’s dispensational language! And Paul continues: 📖 Ephesians 3:3 “How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery…” There was revelation specifically entrusted to Paul concerning what God is doing today. ⚔️ FOURTH — THE FOUNDATION INCLUDES OUR SAVING GOSPEL! ✝️❤️🔥 Before we start building doctrine, we need the foundation established correctly. Paul reminds the Corinthians: 📖 1 Corinthians 15:1 “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you…” And what did Paul preach? 📖 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 How that: ✝️ “Christ died for our sins…” ⚰️ “And that he was buried…” 🔥 “And that he rose again the third day…” THIS is where everything begins! Not: ❌ Christ + water baptism. ❌ Christ + law keeping. ❌ Christ + sacraments. ❌ Christ + church membership. ❌ Christ + enduring until the end to earn salvation. ❌ Christ + religious performance. 🔥 CHRIST’S FINISHED WORK! Received through faith. 📖 Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith… Not of works, lest any man should boast.” ⚔️ FIFTH — ONCE SAVED, START BUILDING! 🧱📖🔥 Salvation is the beginning—not the end of spiritual growth. Paul says: 📖 1 Corinthians 3:10 “…But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.” 🔥 PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU’RE BUILDING WITH! You can be saved and still build terribly. You can fill your mind with: 🪵 Religious tradition. 🌾 Denominational opinions. 🪶 Misapplied Scripture. 🔥 Or you can build with sound doctrine. Paul continues: 📖 1 Corinthians 3:12-13 “Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest…” Your doctrinal edification matters! 🔥 YOU ARE BUILDING SOMETHING! The question is: WHAT? 👀 ⚔️ SIXTH — GOD WANTS YOU ESTABLISHED ACCORDING TO PAUL’S GOSPEL AND THE MYSTERY! 🧱🔥 This verse ties everything together: 📖 Romans 16:25 “Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,” Look at God’s pattern: ✝️ MY GOSPEL ⬇️ 📖 THE PREACHING OF JESUS CHRIST ⬇️ 🔥 ACCORDING TO THE REVELATION OF THE MYSTERY ⬇️ 🧱 STABLISHED! THAT is spiritual construction! 🔥 THE FOUNDATION IS CHRIST, AND THE DOCTRINAL BLUEPRINT FOR BUILDING UP THE BODY OF CHRIST WAS COMMITTED THROUGH PAUL! ⚔️ SEVENTH — STOP TRYING TO BUILD THE BODY OF CHRIST WITH ISRAEL’S BLUEPRINT! 🇮🇱🚫🏗 This is where failure to rightly divide creates massive confusion. Jesus said during His earthly ministry: 📖 Matthew 15:24 “I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” That ministry is absolutely Scripture. ❤️ We believe it. 📖 We study it. 🧠 We learn from it. But we don’t pretend Israel’s prophetic instructions are identical to the later revelation concerning the Body of Christ! God revealed the Mystery through Paul: 📖 Ephesians 3:5 “Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed…” You cannot claim something was always being preached in exactly the same way when Scripture says it was previously not made known! 🔥 PROPHECY AND MYSTERY MUST BE RIGHTLY DIVIDED! ⚔️ EIGHTH — “I FOLLOW JESUS, NOT PAUL!” SOUNDS SPIRITUAL—BUT MISSES WHO SENT PAUL! 🚨📖 Paul says: 📖 1 Corinthians 11:1 “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” And: 📖 1 Corinthians 4:16 “Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.” Why? Because Paul was God’s chosen apostle through whom the risen Christ revealed doctrine for the Body. Even stronger: 📖 1 Corinthians 14:37 “…let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.” 🔥 READ THAT AGAIN! THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD! So you cannot honor Jesus Christ by dismissing the apostle Jesus Christ Himself commissioned. ⚔️ NINTH — PAUL’S FOUNDATION PRODUCES DOCTRINAL EDIFICATION! 🧠📖🏗 Paul’s epistles don’t merely tell you how to get saved. They build you! Romans lays foundational doctrine. 📖 Justification 📖 Identification 📖 Grace 📖 Israel’s dispensational status 📖 Christian conduct Then the Pauline epistles (Romans-Philemon) continue establishing the believer concerning: 🔥 The Body of Christ. (Eph. 2:15). 🔥 The Mystery. (Eph. 3:1-9). 🔥 Our heavenly position. (Phil. 3:20; Eph. 2:6) 🔥 Our walk. (Romans-Philemon) 🔥 Our warfare. (Eph. 6:10-18; 2 Cor. 10:4-5). 🔥 Our ministry. (2 Cor. 5:18-21). 🔥 Our hope. (1 Thess. 4:16-18; Titus 2:13). 🔥 Sound doctrine. (2 Tim. 2:15; Titus 1:9;2:1). 🔥 Grace living. (Titus 2:11-12). This is why Bible study matters! 📖 2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God… rightly dividing the word of truth.” Don’t randomly grab Bible verses and hammer them into your doctrinal house! 🔨😵‍💫 FOLLOW THE BLUEPRINT! ⚔️ TENTH — DON’T BUILD YOUR FAITH ON DENOMINATIONAL TRADITION! 🏛🚫 This is where many believers get stuck. Instead of asking: 📖 “What does Paul teach?” They ask: 🤷 “What does my denomination teach?” 🤷 “What did my pastor say?” 🤷 “What has my church always believed?” 🤷 “What does everybody else do?” But your foundation isn’t: ❌ Baptist. ❌ Methodist. ❌ Catholic. ❌ Pentecostal. ❌ Lutheran. ❌ Non-denominational tradition. 🔥 THE FOUNDATION IS JESUS CHRIST! And we are to be established according to the doctrine the risen Christ committed through Paul, our apostle. ⚔️ ELEVENTH — THIS IS WHY SOUND DOCTRINE MATTERS SO MUCH! 📖🧠🔥 Paul says: 📖 1 Timothy 4:16 “Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine…” And: 📖 2 Timothy 4:3

“.. for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.” – John 8:16 This concerns the blasphemous Doctrine of Oneness. Imagine how distorted one’s  understanding of God must be if one sees Him as a God who claims to be not only the Father of the Son, but also the Son. The tragic reality of Modalism is that it presents a distorted and blasphemous view of God – one that ultimately makes God out to be a liar by denying the  distinction between the Father and the Son (as well as the Holy Spirit). Matthew 3:16-17 KJB And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: [17] And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. The truth: the Godhead is made up of three distinct persons who are all ONE in deity, making them all ONE God. What Is a Mid-Acts Dispensationalist? by Pastor David Havard We are often asked what it means to be a "mid-Acts" dispensationalist. To answer that question, we first need to define what it means to be a "dispensationalist. A dispensationalist reads the Bible as showing God's unfolding plan across time, with Israel and the Church having separate but complementary roles, and prophecy (especially end-times events) taken literally. This contrasts with covenant theology, which sees more continuity (the Church as the fulfillment of Israel). While dispensationalists in general see a difference between God's program for Israel and His program for the Church today, they differ from "mid-Acts" or "Pauline" dispensationalists in three basic areas: 1. The biggest difference between a classic dispensationalist and a mid-Acts dispensationalist is when they believe the Body of Christ started. In general, traditional dispensationalists believe that the Body of Christ started at Pentecost with Peter, as recorded in Acts 2. Mid-Acts dispensationalists believe that the Body of Christ began with the Apostle Paul (either at his calling in Acts 9 or with his first missionary journey in Acts 13) and is based on his unique apostleship and revelations. 2. While both traditional and mid-Acts dispensationalists say that the Book of Acts is a transitional book, showing the change from the age of law to the age of grace, only mid-Acts dispensationalists are consistent in their interpretation. Traditional dispensationalists contradict themselves because, on one hand, they say that the Body of Christ started at Pentecost, but on the other hand say that those saved at Pentecost were added to the church which already existed, which was operating under the kingdom program for Israel. By contrast, mid-Acts dispensationalists say that the Body of Christ did not start until after the conversion of the Apostle Paul. This is consistent because it allows those who were saved at Pentecost--responding to a kingdom message--to be added to the kingdom church which already existed, and those saved after Paul to be placed into the separate Body of Christ. 3. Both of these differences (1 and 2) lead to the most practical distinction between traditional and mid-Acts dispensationalists--where the Church today should go in Scripture for its doctrine of faith and practice. Because traditional dispensationalists fail to maintain a proper distinction between the kingdom program and the Body of Christ, they mistakenly apply the teaching of the Gospels and the General Epistles as sources of the Church's doctrine today. This leads to contradiction and conflict when what is said about salvation in the Gospels (e.g., "believe and do" in the kingdom context) is applied directly to the Church today alongside Paul's clear teaching of "only believe" (grace through faith without works). We clearly see this contradiction when traditional dispensationalists use John 3:16 in evangelism--but then define "believe" using Paul's gospel--they are mixing two different dispensational programs and two different contents of faith. Scriptural consistency requires that we derive our doctrine of faith and practice from Paul's epistles, while recognizing that all Scripture is profitable and offers valuable application.

Paul says: ✅ “WE ARE HIS WORKMANSHIP.” ✅ “CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS.” ➡️ “UNTO GOOD WORKS.” Do you see the order? 🔥 ✝️ SAVED FIRST. 🛠️ GOOD WORKS FOLLOW. Good works belong to the believer’s WALK AND SERVICE AFTER salvation. 📖 Salvation establishes your position IN CHRIST. 📖 Sound doctrine then teaches the saved believer how he SHOULD WALK. Huge difference! 💥 ⚔️ THIRD — CAN A SAVED PERSON HAVE BAD WORKS? 😳🔥 ABSOLUTELY! This destroys the idea that good works automatically prove somebody is saved—or that bad works automatically prove somebody was never saved. Paul writes to believers: 📖 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body… WHETHER IT BE GOOD OR BAD.” — 2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV WAIT! 👀 Saved members of the Body of Christ can have: ✅ GOOD works. OR… ❌ BAD works. If salvation automatically guaranteed that every believer would produce nothing but good works, why does Paul warn believers about BAD works? 🤔 Because… 🔥 SALVATION AND SERVICE ARE NOT THE SAME THING! Your salvation concerns what CHRIST DID FOR YOU. ✝️❤️ Your service concerns what you BUILD AFTER YOU ARE SAVED. 🧱🔨 ⚔️ FOURTH — SOUND DOCTRINE PRODUCES GOOD WORKS! 📖🧠🌱 Once saved, how does the believer grow? Not by stealing Israel’s instructions. 🚫 Not by mixing law and grace. 🚫 Not by following religious traditions. 🚫 Paul tells us: 📖 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” — 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV As sound doctrine works in the believer: 🧠 The mind is renewed. 📖 Understanding grows. 🚶🏻 The walk changes. ❤️ Grace motivates service. 🛠️ Labor becomes profitable. 🏆 Reward can follow faithful service. That is why doctrine matters! 🔥 RIGHT BELIEF PRODUCES RIGHT SERVICE! ⚔️ FIFTH — WRONG DOCTRINE CAN PRODUCE BAD WORKS! 🚨🧱🔥 YES—even in a saved believer! A believer can spend years: ❌ Mixing prophecy and mystery. ❌ Mixing Israel and the Body of Christ. ❌ Mixing law and grace. ❌ Following religious traditions. ❌ Putting believers under ordinances. ❌ Building upon Paul’s foundation incorrectly. Paul warns: 📖 “Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble…” — 1 Corinthians 3:12 KJV 🏆 Gold. 🥈 Silver. 💎 Precious stones. OR… 🪵 Wood. 🌾 Hay. 🔥 Stubble. And the fire will reveal WHAT SORT of work it is! 📖 “The fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.” — 1 Corinthians 3:13 KJV Some works receive reward. 🏆✨ Others BURN. 🔥🔥🔥 But watch what happens to the believer whose works burn: 📖 “If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: BUT HE HIMSELF SHALL BE SAVED; yet so as by fire.” — 1 Corinthians 3:15 KJV 💥 THERE IT IS! 🔥 WORKS BURNED. 🔥 REWARD LOST. ❤️ THE MAN STILL SAVED. Why? Because his salvation was never resting upon his works in the first place! WHY ARE SO MANY TRUSTING WATER INSTEAD OF CHRIST’S FINISHED WORK?! 💧❌✝️🔥 (The danger of taking Israel’s instructions and putting them into the Body of Christ) (KJV / Mid-Acts 9 / Rightly Divided) Why are so many professing Christians trusting in water baptism as necessary for salvation? 💧🤔 Why do people hear the gospel of Christ’s DEATH, BURIAL, AND RESURRECTION and immediately respond: ❌ “Yes, BUT you also have to be water baptized!” ❌ “Faith alone isn’t enough!” ❌ “You have to obey Acts 2:38!” Because one of Satan’s oldest methods is not simply getting people to reject the Bible. 🔥 IT IS GETTING PEOPLE TO MISUSE THE BIBLE! 🔥 Satan quoted Scripture when tempting Christ! 📖🐍 The deception often comes through taking something God really said, removing it from its audience, context, and dispensational setting, and applying it where God never instructed it to be applied. That is precisely why we are commanded: 📖 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” The Bible is ALL FOR US — but it is not all written TO us! ⚔️📖 ⚔️ FIRST — ACTS 2:38 ACTUALLY SAYS WHAT IT SAYS! 💧 People constantly misquote: 📖 Acts 2:38 “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins…” And then they bring that command directly into the Body of Christ. But WAIT! 🛑 Who is Peter addressing? 📖 Acts 2:36 “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly…” There is your audience! 🇮🇱📖 Peter is operating within Israel’s prophetic program. This is NOT Paul preaching the revelation of the mystery to the Body of Christ. This is why ignoring the audience creates doctrinal disaster. 🔥 RIGHT VERSE + WRONG AUDIENCE = WRONG DOCTRINE! ⚔️ SECOND — OUR GOSPEL IS CHRIST’S FINISHED WORK! ✝️🩸🔥 What gospel saves TODAY? Paul tells us plainly: 📖 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel…” Christ: ✝️ DIED for our sins. ⚰️ Was BURIED. 🔥 ROSE AGAIN the third day. Where is water baptism in that gospel? IT ISN’T THERE! 💧❌ Where is joining a church? ❌ Not there. Where is keeping commandments for justification? ❌ Not there. Where are religious ceremonies added to Christ’s finished work? ❌ NOT THERE! Our salvation rests entirely upon what CHRIST ACCOMPLISHED, not upon something WE accomplish afterward. ⚔️ THIRD — FAITH IS NOT “ALMOST ENOUGH”! 🔥 This is where religious thinking becomes dangerous. People say: “Of course I believe Jesus died for me… BUT I still have to…” 🚨 STOP AT THE “BUT”! 🚨 The moment you make another act necessary to complete justification, you have moved away from resting solely in Christ’s finished work. 📖 Romans 4:5 “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” Read that again! 🔥 WORKETH NOT! God did not say: “Worketh not… except for one religious ceremony.” He said WORKETH NOT! ⚔️ FOURTH — SALVATION IS BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH! 🎁🔥 📖 Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Salvation is a GIFT. 🎁 You don’t help Christ finish the cross. You don’t help Christ shed enough blood. You don’t help Christ rise from the dead. And you don’t complete His finished work by getting into a pool! 💧❌ 🔥 CHRIST DID THE SAVING. WE BELIEVE THE GOSPEL. ⚔️ FIFTH — WHEN DO WE RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT? 🕊🔥 Paul answers that too! 📖 Ephesians 1:13 “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,” Notice what is missing: ❌ “After ye were water baptized…” ❌ “After ye proved your faith through works…” ❌ “After ye completed a religious ordinance…” The verse says: 🔥 AFTER THAT YE BELIEVED! 🔥 Hear the gospel. Believe the gospel. Trust Christ. Be sealed by the Holy Spirit. 🕊 ⚔️ SIXTH — THERE IS ONE BAPTISM FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST! 🔥 Paul writes: 📖 Ephesians 4:5 “One Lord, one faith, one baptism,” And Scripture identifies how believers enter the Body: 📖 1 Corinthians 12:13 “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body…” THAT baptism does not require a preacher, a baptistry, a river, or a drop of water! 💧❌ It is the work of GOD, identifying the believer with Christ and placing him into the Body of Christ. 🔥 THE ONE BAPTISM TODAY IS SPIRITUAL — NOT WATER! 🛑 Stop saying water baptism is an outward expression of inward faith! Does Paul ever teach that? NO! It is really an outward expression of inward ignorance of God’s one baptism for us today. Water baptism is DISOEBEDIENCE to our Lord’s one baptism for the Body today (Rom. 6:3-4; Eph. 4:5; Col. 2:12; Gal. 3:27; 1 Corinthians 12:13). And disobedient to 2 Timothy 2:15. ⚔️ SEVENTH — SATAN TWISTS SCRIPTURE! 🐍📖 The devil does not always need to convince someone to throw away their Bible. Sometimes he only needs them to: ❌ Ignore who is speaking. ❌ Ignore who is being addressed. ❌ Ignore the context. ❌ Ignore progressive revelation. ❌ Mix Israel with the Body of Christ. ❌ Mix prophecy with mystery. ❌ Mix Peter’s kingdom instructions with Paul’s revelation. ❌ Add religious works to the gospel of grace. That is why something can be BIBLICAL and still be WRONGLY APPLIED! Circumcision is biblical. Animal sacrifices are biblical. Israel’s dietary laws are biblical. Water baptism for remission of sins in Acts 2:38 is biblical. But that does NOT mean they are God’s instructions for the Body of Christ today! 🔥🔥 RIGHTLY DIVIDE! 🔥🔥 ⚔️ EIGHTH — PAUL WARNED ABOUT ANOTHER GOSPEL! 🚨📖 📖 Galatians 1:8 “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” This is serious. The issue isn’t whether water exists in the Bible. Of course it does! The issue is whether God requires YOU, a member of the Body of Christ under grace, to be water baptized in order to be justified. Paul’s answer is clear: ❌ NOT YOUR WORKS. ❌ NOT YOUR RELIGION. ❌ NOT YOUR WATER. ✅ CHRIST’S FINISHED WORK! ✨🔥 THE BOTTOM LINE 🔥✨ The problem isn’t Acts 2:38. Acts 2:38 is God’s Word! 📖 The problem is taking Acts 2:38 out of Israel’s prophetic context and forcing it into God’s present dispensation of grace. Salvation is already ours 𝐛𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡, apart from works. “𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡; 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬: 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝: 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬...” — Ephesians 2:8–9 KJV Our walk is the result of our identity in Christ—not the means of obtaining it. 🕊 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓 Paul continues: “𝐄𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞.” — Ephesians 4:3 KJV Notice that Paul does not tell us to 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 spiritual unity. We are to 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 the unity that the Spirit has already established. Then Paul gives seven great truths concerning that unity: “𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐲𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠; 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝, 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡, 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐦, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐥𝐥...” — Ephesians 4:4–6 KJV 🟣 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘 — the Body of Christ. “𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫.” — 1 Corinthians 12:27 KJV 🔵 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓 — the Holy Spirit. 🟡 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄 — our heavenly hope in Christ. 🟢 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐃 — Jesus Christ. 🟠 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐈𝐓𝐇 — the faith revealed through Paul's gospel and doctrine. 🔴 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐌 — the Spirit's identification of the believer with Christ. “𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲...” — 1 Corinthians 12:13 KJV This is not telling the Body of Christ that it needs multiple baptisms. Ephesians explicitly says: “𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐌.” The saving work is God's work. The moment we believe the gospel of Christ—His death for our sins, burial, and resurrection—we are saved and sealed by the Holy Spirit. See 1 Corinthians 15:1–4 and Ephesians 1:13–14. 🟣 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐅𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 — the source and Father of all. This is the doctrinal foundation for genuine unity. Biblical unity is not everyone ignoring doctrinal differences. It is believers standing together upon 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡. 📖 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝐆𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐆𝐈𝐅𝐓𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐅𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘 Ephesians 4:11–12 says: “𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞, 𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬; 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞, 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐬; 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞, 𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬; 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞, 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬; 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲, 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭:” God's purpose is the 𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭. A believer who does not understand sound doctrine can be carried from one teaching to another: 🔴 law one day and grace the next 🟠 Israel's program mixed with the Body of Christ 🟡 prophecy mixed with the mystery 🟢 works mixed into salvation 🔵 conflicting doctrines pulled from passages addressed to different people under different dispensational instructions This is why 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬. “𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐝, 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝, 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡.” — 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV All Scripture is for our learning, but we must recognize God's distinct dealings and understand the revelation committed particularly to Paul for the Body of Christ. ⚔️ 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐊 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 Paul gives the alternative to being carried around by false teaching: “𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞, 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐮𝐩 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭:” — Ephesians 4:15 KJV Notice the balance: 🟣 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐓𝐇 ❤️ 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 Love does not require compromising truth. And truth should not become an excuse for cruelty. Sound Pauline doctrine should produce believers who are 𝐝𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞. Christ is the Head. Paul does not tell believers to reform the old man until he becomes acceptable to God. Why? Because members of the Body of Christ belong to one another. Deception damages fellowship. Paul tells us to use them for 𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 🕊 𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 Here is one of the great security verses in Ephesians: “𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝, 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐲 𝐲𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.” — Ephesians 4:30 KJV Notice what Paul does 𝐧𝐨𝐭 say. He does not say that when believers grieve the Holy Spirit, the Spirit abandons them. He says believers are: 🔒 “𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍.” Compare Ephesians 1:13: “𝐈𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐦 𝐲𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧... 𝐲𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞,” — Ephesians 1:13 KJV Our security rests upon 𝐆𝐨𝐝'𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭, not our ability to maintain salvation through perfect performance. That does not give us permission to sin. It gives us a powerful reason to live according to the identity and grace God has already given us. ❤️ 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐀𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐇𝐀𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔 Paul closes the chapter: “𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞:” — Ephesians 4:31 KJV Then: “𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐲𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭'𝐬 𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮.” — Ephesians 4:32 KJV Notice the order. Paul does not say: 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐬𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮. For the believer under grace, the foundation is: ✝️ 𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐇𝐀𝐒 𝐀𝐋𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐘 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓'𝐒 𝐒𝐀𝐊𝐄. Therefore, because we have received grace, we should extend grace. Because we have been forgiven, we should forgive.
