Many people are quick to point out the sins of others ๐Ÿ‘ˆ while ignoring their own sins ๐Ÿ‘‰. Paul writes: ๐Ÿ“– "Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself..." (Romans 2:1 KJV) ๐Ÿ”ฅ It is easy to condemn someone else's failures. ๐Ÿ”ฅ It is harder to examine our own hearts. ๐Ÿ”ฅ God sees what nobody else sees. The Lord is not fooled by religious appearances, church membership, traditions, titles, or outward ceremonies. ๐Ÿ‘‘ God sees the heart. โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ” โš–๏ธ ๐†๐Ž๐ƒ'๐’ ๐‰๐”๐ƒ๐†๐Œ๐„๐๐“ ๐ˆ๐’ ๐€๐‚๐‚๐Ž๐‘๐ƒ๐ˆ๐๐† ๐“๐Ž ๐“๐‘๐”๐“๐‡ ๐Ÿ“– "But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth..." Yet many were breaking the very things they preached. Paul asks: โ“ Thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? โ“ Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? ๐Ÿ”ฅ Knowledge alone is not enough. Knowing the truth and refusing to follow it only increases accountability. God is not impressed by what we claim. (Romans 2:28) Paul explains that true righteousness is not merely outward. It is not about ceremonies. It is not about rituals. It is not about religious appearances. ๐Ÿ’– God looks for a heart that believes Him. ๐Ÿ“– "But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart..." (Romans 2:29) The issue has always been the heart. โœจ A changed heart. โœจ A believing heart. โœจ A heart that desires God's truth. ๐“๐‘๐”๐“๐‡ As we continue into Romans, Paul is building the case that: โŒ The Gentile is guilty. โŒ The religious person is guilty. โŒ The moral person is guilty. โŒ The Jew is guilty. ๐Ÿ“– Romans 3 will conclude: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) No one is justified by their own goodness. ๐Ÿ™ Our only hope is the Lord Jesus Christ. Today, under God's grace, salvation is found by trusting the gospel that Paul preached: ๐Ÿ“– "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV) โœจ Stop trusting religion. โœจ Stop trusting works. โœจ Stop comparing yourself to others. Trust Christ alone. โค๏ธ Because God does not merely look at the outside. ๐Ÿ”ฅ He looks at the heart.

  • โ€œFor the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrineโ€ฆโ€ Doctrine isnโ€™t some optional hobby for โ€œBible nerds.โ€ ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿ“– Doctrine is what builds your understanding! ๐Ÿ”ฅ BAD DOCTRINE BUILDS BADLY. ๐Ÿ”ฅ SOUND DOCTRINE BUILDS YOU UP. You donโ€™t need more religious noise. You need: ๐Ÿ“– Study Scripture. โš”๏ธ Right division. ๐Ÿงฑ Pauline doctrine. ๐Ÿง  Understanding. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Spiritual maturity. โœจ๐Ÿ”ฅ THE BOTTOM LINE ๐Ÿ”ฅโœจ Paul said: ๐Ÿ“– โ€œI HAVE LAID THE FOUNDATION.โ€ And then warned: ๐Ÿ“– โ€œLET EVERY MAN TAKE HEED HOW HE BUILDETH THEREUPON.โ€ Jesus Christ is the only foundation! โœ๏ธ But the risen Christ appointed Paul as the wise masterbuilder and entrusted to him the revelation by which the Body of Christ is established. So first: โœ๏ธ BELIEVE THE GOSPEL! Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. ๐Ÿ“– 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Salvation is: โœ… By grace. โœ… Through faith. โœ… Apart from ALL works. ๐Ÿ“– Ephesians 2:8-9 Then: ๐Ÿงฑ BUILD! ๐Ÿ“– Learn Romans through Philemon. โš”๏ธ Rightly divide prophecy from mystery. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Distinguish Israel from the Body of Christ. ๐Ÿง  Learn sound doctrine. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Become established according to Paulโ€™s gospel and the revelation of the Mystery. And always remember: โœ๏ธ CHRIST IS THE FOUNDATION. ๐Ÿ“– PAUL IS THE WISE MASTERBUILDER WHO LAID IT ACCORDING TO THE GRACE GIVEN UNTO HIM. ๐Ÿงฑ WE ARE TO TAKE HEED HOW WE BUILD THEREUPON. ๐Ÿ”ฅ DONโ€™T TEAR UP THE FOUNDATION. ๐Ÿ”ฅ DONโ€™T SWITCH BLUEPRINTS. ๐Ÿ”ฅ DONโ€™T BUILD WITH TRADITION. โš”๏ธ๐Ÿ“– BUILD UPON THE FOUNDATION GOD LAID THROUGH PAULโ€”AND RIGHTLY DIVIDE THE WORD OF TRUTH! ๐Ÿงฑ๐Ÿ”ฅ Grace and peace. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ•Š Feel free to share! ๐Ÿ“–โš”๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ โœ๐Ÿป Anchored in Grace Ministry โš“๏ธ

  • PAUL LAID THE FOUNDATIONโ€”WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING ON IT?! ๐Ÿงฑ๐Ÿ”ฅ (OTHER FOUNDATION CAN NO MAN LAY!) (KJV / Mid-Acts 9 / Rightly Divided) You cannot build sound doctrine on the wrong foundation and expect the structure to stand. ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ“– Paul tells the Corinthians something incredibly important: ๐Ÿ“– 1 Corinthians 3:10 (KJV) โ€œAccording to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.โ€ Notice that carefully! ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ”ฅ Paul says: ๐Ÿงฑ โ€œI HAVE LAID THE FOUNDATION.โ€ And then: โš ๏ธ โ€œLET EVERY MAN TAKE HEED HOW HE BUILDETH THEREUPON.โ€ That means once the foundation has been laid, WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BUILD UPON ITโ€”not abandon it and start constructing somewhere else! โš”๏ธ FIRST โ€” JESUS CHRIST IS THE FOUNDATION! โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ Paul immediately explains: ๐Ÿ“– 1 Corinthians 3:11 โ€œFor other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.โ€ So donโ€™t misunderstand Paul. โŒ Paul isnโ€™t replacing Jesus Christ. โŒ Paul isnโ€™t making himself the Saviour. โŒ Paul isnโ€™t saying, โ€œBuild your faith upon me instead of Christ.โ€ ๐Ÿ”ฅ JESUS CHRIST IS THE FOUNDATION! But according to verse 10, PAUL IS THE WISE MASTERBUILDER WHO LAID THAT FOUNDATION ACCORDING TO THE GRACE GIVEN TO HIM. That distinction matters! โš”๏ธ๐Ÿ“– The question isnโ€™t: โ€œPaul or Jesus?โ€ The question is: ๐Ÿ”ฅ HOW DOES THE RISEN JESUS CHRIST TELL THE BODY OF CHRIST TO UNDERSTAND AND BUILD UPON HIM? And Paulโ€™s answer is: ๐Ÿ“– according to the revelation committed to him! โš”๏ธ SECOND โ€” PAUL DIDNโ€™T INVENT THE BLUEPRINT! ๐Ÿ“œ๐Ÿ”ฅ Look again: ๐Ÿ“– 1 Corinthians 3:10 โ€œAccording to the grace of God which is given unto meโ€ฆโ€ Paul didnโ€™t wake up one morning and invent Christianity. ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ His apostleship, gospel, and revelation came from Jesus Christ Himself. ๐Ÿ“– Galatians 1:11-12 โ€œBut I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.โ€ ๐Ÿ”ฅ THERE IT IS! Paulโ€™s doctrine isnโ€™t: ๐Ÿ‘จ Manโ€™s opinion. ๐Ÿ› Denominational tradition. ๐Ÿ“š Theological speculation. It was given by: โœ๏ธ THE RISEN, GLORIFIED LORD JESUS CHRIST! So when we follow Paulโ€™s doctrine, we arenโ€™t choosing Paul instead of Christ. ๐Ÿ”ฅ WE ARE OBEYING CHRISTโ€™S REVELATION THROUGH PAUL! โš”๏ธ THIRD โ€” PAUL IS OUR APOSTLE! ๐Ÿ“–๐ŸŒŽ Paul plainly says: ๐Ÿ“– Romans 11:13 โ€œ..inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:โ€ Why would God identify Paulโ€™s office if apostleship didnโ€™t matter? ๐Ÿค” Because it DOES matter! Paul was given a particular stewardship: ๐Ÿ“– Ephesians 3:2 โ€œIf ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:โ€ Given to Paulโ€ฆ โžก๏ธ TO US-WARD! ๐Ÿ”ฅ Thatโ€™s dispensational language! And Paul continues: ๐Ÿ“– Ephesians 3:3 โ€œHow that by revelation he made known unto me the mysteryโ€ฆโ€ There was revelation specifically entrusted to Paul concerning what God is doing today. โš”๏ธ FOURTH โ€” THE FOUNDATION INCLUDES OUR SAVING GOSPEL! โœ๏ธโค๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ Before we start building doctrine, we need the foundation established correctly. Paul reminds the Corinthians: ๐Ÿ“– 1 Corinthians 15:1 โ€œMoreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto youโ€ฆโ€ And what did Paul preach? ๐Ÿ“– 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 How that: โœ๏ธ โ€œChrist died for our sinsโ€ฆโ€ โšฐ๏ธ โ€œAnd that he was buriedโ€ฆโ€ ๐Ÿ”ฅ โ€œAnd that he rose again the third dayโ€ฆโ€ THIS is where everything begins! Not: โŒ Christ + water baptism. โŒ Christ + law keeping. โŒ Christ + sacraments. โŒ Christ + church membership. โŒ Christ + enduring until the end to earn salvation. โŒ Christ + religious performance. ๐Ÿ”ฅ CHRISTโ€™S FINISHED WORK! Received through faith. ๐Ÿ“– Ephesians 2:8-9 โ€œFor by grace are ye saved through faithโ€ฆ Not of works, lest any man should boast.โ€ โš”๏ธ FIFTH โ€” ONCE SAVED, START BUILDING! ๐Ÿงฑ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ”ฅ Salvation is the beginningโ€”not the end of spiritual growth. Paul says: ๐Ÿ“– 1 Corinthians 3:10 โ€œโ€ฆBut let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.โ€ ๐Ÿ”ฅ PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOUโ€™RE BUILDING WITH! You can be saved and still build terribly. You can fill your mind with: ๐Ÿชต Religious tradition. ๐ŸŒพ Denominational opinions. ๐Ÿชถ Misapplied Scripture. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Or you can build with sound doctrine. Paul continues: ๐Ÿ“– 1 Corinthians 3:12-13 โ€œNow if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every manโ€™s work shall be made manifestโ€ฆโ€ Your doctrinal edification matters! ๐Ÿ”ฅ YOU ARE BUILDING SOMETHING! The question is: WHAT? ๐Ÿ‘€ โš”๏ธ SIXTH โ€” GOD WANTS YOU ESTABLISHED ACCORDING TO PAULโ€™S GOSPEL AND THE MYSTERY! ๐Ÿงฑ๐Ÿ”ฅ This verse ties everything together: ๐Ÿ“– Romans 16:25 โ€œNow to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,โ€ Look at Godโ€™s pattern: โœ๏ธ MY GOSPEL โฌ‡๏ธ ๐Ÿ“– THE PREACHING OF JESUS CHRIST โฌ‡๏ธ ๐Ÿ”ฅ ACCORDING TO THE REVELATION OF THE MYSTERY โฌ‡๏ธ ๐Ÿงฑ STABLISHED! THAT is spiritual construction! ๐Ÿ”ฅ THE FOUNDATION IS CHRIST, AND THE DOCTRINAL BLUEPRINT FOR BUILDING UP THE BODY OF CHRIST WAS COMMITTED THROUGH PAUL! โš”๏ธ SEVENTH โ€” STOP TRYING TO BUILD THE BODY OF CHRIST WITH ISRAELโ€™S BLUEPRINT! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ— This is where failure to rightly divide creates massive confusion. Jesus said during His earthly ministry: ๐Ÿ“– Matthew 15:24 โ€œI am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.โ€ That ministry is absolutely Scripture. โค๏ธ We believe it. ๐Ÿ“– We study it. ๐Ÿง  We learn from it. But we donโ€™t pretend Israelโ€™s prophetic instructions are identical to the later revelation concerning the Body of Christ! God revealed the Mystery through Paul: ๐Ÿ“– Ephesians 3:5 โ€œWhich in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealedโ€ฆโ€ You cannot claim something was always being preached in exactly the same way when Scripture says it was previously not made known! ๐Ÿ”ฅ PROPHECY AND MYSTERY MUST BE RIGHTLY DIVIDED! โš”๏ธ EIGHTH โ€” โ€œI FOLLOW JESUS, NOT PAUL!โ€ SOUNDS SPIRITUALโ€”BUT MISSES WHO SENT PAUL! ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ“– Paul says: ๐Ÿ“– 1 Corinthians 11:1 โ€œBe ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.โ€ And: ๐Ÿ“– 1 Corinthians 4:16 โ€œWherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.โ€ Why? Because Paul was Godโ€™s chosen apostle through whom the risen Christ revealed doctrine for the Body. Even stronger: ๐Ÿ“– 1 Corinthians 14:37 โ€œโ€ฆlet him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.โ€ ๐Ÿ”ฅ READ THAT AGAIN! THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD! So you cannot honor Jesus Christ by dismissing the apostle Jesus Christ Himself commissioned. โš”๏ธ NINTH โ€” PAULโ€™S FOUNDATION PRODUCES DOCTRINAL EDIFICATION! ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ— Paulโ€™s epistles donโ€™t merely tell you how to get saved. They build you! Romans lays foundational doctrine. ๐Ÿ“– Justification ๐Ÿ“– Identification ๐Ÿ“– Grace ๐Ÿ“– Israelโ€™s dispensational status ๐Ÿ“– Christian conduct Then the Pauline epistles (Romans-Philemon) continue establishing the believer concerning: ๐Ÿ”ฅ The Body of Christ. (Eph. 2:15). ๐Ÿ”ฅ The Mystery. (Eph. 3:1-9). ๐Ÿ”ฅ Our heavenly position. (Phil. 3:20; Eph. 2:6) ๐Ÿ”ฅ Our walk. (Romans-Philemon) ๐Ÿ”ฅ Our warfare. (Eph. 6:10-18; 2 Cor. 10:4-5). ๐Ÿ”ฅ Our ministry. (2 Cor. 5:18-21). ๐Ÿ”ฅ Our hope. (1 Thess. 4:16-18; Titus 2:13). ๐Ÿ”ฅ Sound doctrine. (2 Tim. 2:15; Titus 1:9;2:1). ๐Ÿ”ฅ Grace living. (Titus 2:11-12). This is why Bible study matters! ๐Ÿ“– 2 Timothy 2:15 โ€œStudy to shew thyself approved unto Godโ€ฆ rightly dividing the word of truth.โ€ Donโ€™t randomly grab Bible verses and hammer them into your doctrinal house! ๐Ÿ”จ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ FOLLOW THE BLUEPRINT! โš”๏ธ TENTH โ€” DONโ€™T BUILD YOUR FAITH ON DENOMINATIONAL TRADITION! ๐Ÿ›๐Ÿšซ This is where many believers get stuck. Instead of asking: ๐Ÿ“– โ€œWhat does Paul teach?โ€ They ask: ๐Ÿคท โ€œWhat does my denomination teach?โ€ ๐Ÿคท โ€œWhat did my pastor say?โ€ ๐Ÿคท โ€œWhat has my church always believed?โ€ ๐Ÿคท โ€œWhat does everybody else do?โ€ But your foundation isnโ€™t: โŒ Baptist. โŒ Methodist. โŒ Catholic. โŒ Pentecostal. โŒ Lutheran. โŒ Non-denominational tradition. ๐Ÿ”ฅ THE FOUNDATION IS JESUS CHRIST! And we are to be established according to the doctrine the risen Christ committed through Paul, our apostle. โš”๏ธ ELEVENTH โ€” THIS IS WHY SOUND DOCTRINE MATTERS SO MUCH! ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ”ฅ Paul says: ๐Ÿ“– 1 Timothy 4:16 โ€œTake heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrineโ€ฆโ€ And: ๐Ÿ“– 2 Timothy 4:3

  • โ€œ.. for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.โ€ โ€“ John 8:16 This concerns the blasphemous Doctrine of Oneness. Imagine how distorted oneโ€™sย  understanding of God must be if one sees Him as a God who claims to be not only the Father of the Son, but also the Son. The tragic reality of Modalism is that it presents a distorted and blasphemous view of God โ€“ one that ultimately makes God out to be a liar by denying theย  distinction between the Father and the Son (as well as the Holy Spirit). Matthew 3:16-17 KJB And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: [17] And lo a voice from heaven, saying,ย This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. The truth: the Godhead is made up of three distinct persons who are all ONE in deity, making them all ONE God. The tragedy of this doctrine of devils is that it aligns favourably with that of Islamย  which denies the God of the Bible who is three distinct persons in one deity, and thus sees Believers as polytheistsย  (infidels). https://midacts9.wordpress.com/2026/08/17/for-i-am-not-alone-but-i-and-the-father-that-sent-me-john-816/

  • What Is a Mid-Acts Dispensationalist? by Pastor David Havard We are often asked what it means to be a "mid-Acts" dispensationalist. To answer that question, we first need to define what it means to be a "dispensationalist. A dispensationalist reads the Bible as showing God's unfolding plan across time, with Israel and the Church having separate but complementary roles, and prophecy (especially end-times events) taken literally. This contrasts with covenant theology, which sees more continuity (the Church as the fulfillment of Israel). While dispensationalists in general see a difference between God's program for Israel and His program for the Church today, they differ from "mid-Acts" or "Pauline" dispensationalists in three basic areas: 1. The biggest difference between a classic dispensationalist and a mid-Acts dispensationalist is when they believe the Body of Christ started. In general, traditional dispensationalists believe that the Body of Christ started at Pentecost with Peter, as recorded in Acts 2. Mid-Acts dispensationalists believe that the Body of Christ began with the Apostle Paul (either at his calling in Acts 9 or with his first missionary journey in Acts 13) and is based on his unique apostleship and revelations. 2. While both traditional and mid-Acts dispensationalists say that the Book of Acts is a transitional book, showing the change from the age of law to the age of grace, only mid-Acts dispensationalists are consistent in their interpretation. Traditional dispensationalists contradict themselves because, on one hand, they say that the Body of Christ started at Pentecost, but on the other hand say that those saved at Pentecost were added to the church which already existed, which was operating under the kingdom program for Israel. By contrast, mid-Acts dispensationalists say that the Body of Christ did not start until after the conversion of the Apostle Paul. This is consistent because it allows those who were saved at Pentecost--responding to a kingdom message--to be added to the kingdom church which already existed, and those saved after Paul to be placed into the separate Body of Christ. 3. Both of these differences (1 and 2) lead to the most practical distinction between traditional and mid-Acts dispensationalists--where the Church today should go in Scripture for its doctrine of faith and practice. Because traditional dispensationalists fail to maintain a proper distinction between the kingdom program and the Body of Christ, they mistakenly apply the teaching of the Gospels and the General Epistles as sources of the Church's doctrine today. This leads to contradiction and conflict when what is said about salvation in the Gospels (e.g., "believe and do" in the kingdom context) is applied directly to the Church today alongside Paul's clear teaching of "only believe" (grace through faith without works). We clearly see this contradiction when traditional dispensationalists use John 3:16 in evangelism--but then define "believe" using Paul's gospel--they are mixing two different dispensational programs and two different contents of faith. Scriptural consistency requires that we derive our doctrine of faith and practice from Paul's epistles, while recognizing that all Scripture is profitable and offers valuable application.

  • โš”๏ธ๐Ÿ“– โ€œYOU CONVENIENTLY SKIPPED EPHESIANS 2:10!โ€ ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿšจ ๐Ÿ”ฅ NOโ€ฆ VERSE 10 DOESNโ€™T CANCEL VERSES 8โ€“9! ๐Ÿ”ฅ (KJV / Mid-Acts 9 / Rightly Divided) One of the quickest objections youโ€™ll hear when you proclaim salvation BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH, APART FROM ALL WORKS is: ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ โ€œYeah, but you conveniently skipped Ephesians 2:10!โ€ ๐Ÿ˜ณ Skipped it?! Noโ€”we simply refuse to READ VERSE 10 BACKWARDS INTO VERSES 8โ€“9! ๐Ÿ“– God put these verses in an ORDER. And that order matters! โš ๏ธ SALVATION FIRST. โœ๏ธ GOOD WORKS AFTERWARD. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ ๐Ÿ”ฅ NEVER REVERSE GODโ€™S ORDER! โš”๏ธ FIRST โ€” HOW DOES GOD SAY YOU ARE SAVED? ๐ŸŽโœ๏ธ Paul could hardly make it clearer: ๐Ÿ“– โ€œFor by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast.โ€ โ€” Ephesians 2:8โ€“9 KJV READ IT AGAIN! ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ”ฅ โœ… BY GRACE โœ… THROUGH FAITH โœ… THE GIFT OF GOD โŒ NOT OF YOURSELVES โŒ NOT OF WORKS That settles the issue of salvation in this passage. โš–๏ธ You contribute NOTHING toward purchasing, earning, completing, or maintaining Christโ€™s finished work. ๐Ÿšซ Not water baptism. ๐Ÿ’ฆ ๐Ÿšซ Not confession. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ ๐Ÿšซ Not commandment keeping. ๐Ÿ“œ ๐Ÿšซ Not church attendance. โ›ช ๐Ÿšซ Not cleaning up your life. ๐Ÿงน ๐Ÿšซ Not promising to โ€œdo better.โ€ ๐Ÿšซ Not turning from sins as a condition of justification. ๐Ÿšซ Not religious rituals. ๐Ÿšซ NOT ANYTHING YOU DO! ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿ”ฅ IF YOUR SALVATION DEPENDS UPON SOMETHING YOU MUST DO, YOU HAVE ADDED MANโ€™S PERFORMANCE TO CHRISTโ€™S FINISHED WORK! Paul says: ๐Ÿ“– โ€œAnd if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.โ€ โ€” Romans 11:6 KJV Grace and works cannot be mixed as the basis of salvation. ๐Ÿšจ โš”๏ธ SECOND โ€” SO WHAT DOES EPHESIANS 2:10 ACTUALLY SAY? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ“– Keep reading! ๐Ÿ“– โ€œFor we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus UNTO GOOD WORKS, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.โ€ โ€” Ephesians 2:10 KJV Notice what Paul DOESNโ€™T say! ๐Ÿ‘€ โŒ Created BY good works. โŒ Saved BY good works. โŒ Justified THROUGH good works. โŒ Kept saved BY good works. Paul says: โœ… โ€œWE ARE HIS WORKMANSHIP.โ€ โœ… โ€œCREATED IN CHRIST JESUS.โ€ โžก๏ธ โ€œUNTO GOOD WORKS.โ€ Do you see the order? ๐Ÿ”ฅ โœ๏ธ SAVED FIRST. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ GOOD WORKS FOLLOW. Good works belong to the believerโ€™s WALK AND SERVICE AFTER salvation. ๐Ÿ“– Salvation establishes your position IN CHRIST. ๐Ÿ“– Sound doctrine then teaches the saved believer how he SHOULD WALK. Huge difference! ๐Ÿ’ฅ โš”๏ธ THIRD โ€” CAN A SAVED PERSON HAVE BAD WORKS? ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ”ฅ ABSOLUTELY! This destroys the idea that good works automatically prove somebody is savedโ€”or that bad works automatically prove somebody was never saved. Paul writes to believers: ๐Ÿ“– โ€œFor we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his bodyโ€ฆ WHETHER IT BE GOOD OR BAD.โ€ โ€” 2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV WAIT! ๐Ÿ‘€ Saved members of the Body of Christ can have: โœ… GOOD works. ORโ€ฆ โŒ BAD works. If salvation automatically guaranteed that every believer would produce nothing but good works, why does Paul warn believers about BAD works? ๐Ÿค” Becauseโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ”ฅ SALVATION AND SERVICE ARE NOT THE SAME THING! Your salvation concerns what CHRIST DID FOR YOU. โœ๏ธโค๏ธ Your service concerns what you BUILD AFTER YOU ARE SAVED. ๐Ÿงฑ๐Ÿ”จ โš”๏ธ FOURTH โ€” SOUND DOCTRINE PRODUCES GOOD WORKS! ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿง ๐ŸŒฑ Once saved, how does the believer grow? Not by stealing Israelโ€™s instructions. ๐Ÿšซ Not by mixing law and grace. ๐Ÿšซ Not by following religious traditions. ๐Ÿšซ Paul tells us: ๐Ÿ“– โ€œStudy to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.โ€ โ€” 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV As sound doctrine works in the believer: ๐Ÿง  The mind is renewed. ๐Ÿ“– Understanding grows. ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿป The walk changes. โค๏ธ Grace motivates service. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Labor becomes profitable. ๐Ÿ† Reward can follow faithful service. That is why doctrine matters! ๐Ÿ”ฅ RIGHT BELIEF PRODUCES RIGHT SERVICE! โš”๏ธ FIFTH โ€” WRONG DOCTRINE CAN PRODUCE BAD WORKS! ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿงฑ๐Ÿ”ฅ YESโ€”even in a saved believer! A believer can spend years: โŒ Mixing prophecy and mystery. โŒ Mixing Israel and the Body of Christ. โŒ Mixing law and grace. โŒ Following religious traditions. โŒ Putting believers under ordinances. โŒ Building upon Paulโ€™s foundation incorrectly. Paul warns: ๐Ÿ“– โ€œNow if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubbleโ€ฆโ€ โ€” 1 Corinthians 3:12 KJV ๐Ÿ† Gold. ๐Ÿฅˆ Silver. ๐Ÿ’Ž Precious stones. ORโ€ฆ ๐Ÿชต Wood. ๐ŸŒพ Hay. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Stubble. And the fire will reveal WHAT SORT of work it is! ๐Ÿ“– โ€œThe fire shall try every manโ€™s work of what sort it is.โ€ โ€” 1 Corinthians 3:13 KJV Some works receive reward. ๐Ÿ†โœจ Others BURN. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ But watch what happens to the believer whose works burn: ๐Ÿ“– โ€œIf any manโ€™s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: BUT HE HIMSELF SHALL BE SAVED; yet so as by fire.โ€ โ€” 1 Corinthians 3:15 KJV ๐Ÿ’ฅ THERE IT IS! ๐Ÿ”ฅ WORKS BURNED. ๐Ÿ”ฅ REWARD LOST. โค๏ธ THE MAN STILL SAVED. Why? Because his salvation was never resting upon his works in the first place! It rested upon CHRIST! โœ๏ธ โš”๏ธ SIXTH โ€” STOP REVERSING GODโ€™S ORDER! ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ”„ Religion teaches: ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ GOOD WORKS โฌ‡๏ธ ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป GOD ACCEPTS ME โฌ‡๏ธ โœ๏ธ MAYBE Iโ€™LL BE SAVED โŒโŒโŒ WRONG ORDER! Religion says: โŒ WORK SO GOD WILL ACCEPT YOU. Grace says: โœ… SERVE BECAUSE GOD HAS ALREADY MADE YOU ACCEPTED IN CHRIST! ๐Ÿ“– โ€œTo the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.โ€ โ€” Ephesians 1:6 KJV โœจ๐Ÿ”ฅ THE BOTTOM LINE ๐Ÿ”ฅโœจ Stop saying: ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ โ€œBut you skipped Ephesians 2:10!โ€ WE DIDNโ€™T SKIP IT. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“– We simply refuse to let you reverse it! Ephesians 2:8โ€“10 gives a beautiful order: 1๏ธโƒฃ SAVED BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH. ๐ŸŽ 2๏ธโƒฃ NOT OF WORKS. ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ 3๏ธโƒฃ THEN CREATED IN CHRIST UNTO GOOD WORKS. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ ๐Ÿ”ฅ WORKS DO NOT PRODUCE SALVATION. ๐Ÿ”ฅ SALVATION MAKES GOOD WORKS POSSIBLE AS THE BELIEVER LEARNS AND WALKS IN SOUND DOCTRINE. And before discussing your Christian walk, make sure you have actually believed THE GOSPEL OF YOUR SALVATION. ๐Ÿšจ ๐Ÿ“– 1 Corinthians 15:1โ€“4 โœ๏ธ Christ DIED FOR OUR SINS. โšฐ๏ธ He WAS BURIED. ๐ŸŒ… He ROSE AGAIN THE THIRD DAY. Hear it. ๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿป Believe it. โค๏ธ Trust Christโ€™s finished work APART FROM ALL WORKS. โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ Then: ๐Ÿ“– โ€œAfter that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.โ€ โ€” Ephesians 1:13 KJV And THEN grow! ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ“– Study. โš”๏ธ Rightly divide. ๐Ÿ“– Renew your mind. ๐Ÿง  Walk worthy. ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿป Serve in grace. โค๏ธ Build wisely on Paulโ€™s doctrine. ๐Ÿงฑ Seek reward. ๐Ÿ† But NEVER PUT YOUR WORKS WHERE GOD PUT CHRISTโ€™S CROSS! โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ โœจ SALVATION IS A FREE GIFT. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ GOOD WORKS BELONG TO YOUR SERVICE. ๐Ÿ† REWARDS BELONG TO YOUR FAITHFUL LABOR. • WHY ARE SO MANY TRUSTING WATER INSTEAD OF CHRISTโ€™S FINISHED WORK?! ๐Ÿ’งโŒโœ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ (The danger of taking Israelโ€™s instructions and putting them into the Body of Christ) (KJV / Mid-Acts 9 / Rightly Divided) Why are so many professing Christians trusting in water baptism as necessary for salvation? ๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿค” Why do people hear the gospel of Christโ€™s DEATH, BURIAL, AND RESURRECTION and immediately respond: โŒ โ€œYes, BUT you also have to be water baptized!โ€ โŒ โ€œFaith alone isnโ€™t enough!โ€ โŒ โ€œYou have to obey Acts 2:38!โ€ Because one of Satanโ€™s oldest methods is not simply getting people to reject the Bible. ๐Ÿ”ฅ IT IS GETTING PEOPLE TO MISUSE THE BIBLE! ๐Ÿ”ฅ Satan quoted Scripture when tempting Christ! ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ The deception often comes through taking something God really said, removing it from its audience, context, and dispensational setting, and applying it where God never instructed it to be applied. That is precisely why we are commanded: ๐Ÿ“– 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) โ€œStudy to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.โ€ The Bible is ALL FOR US โ€” but it is not all written TO us! โš”๏ธ๐Ÿ“– โš”๏ธ FIRST โ€” ACTS 2:38 ACTUALLY SAYS WHAT IT SAYS! ๐Ÿ’ง People constantly misquote: ๐Ÿ“– Acts 2:38 โ€œRepent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sinsโ€ฆโ€ And then they bring that command directly into the Body of Christ. But WAIT! ๐Ÿ›‘ Who is Peter addressing? ๐Ÿ“– Acts 2:36 โ€œTherefore let all the house of Israel know assuredlyโ€ฆโ€ There is your audience! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ“– Peter is operating within Israelโ€™s prophetic program. This is NOT Paul preaching the revelation of the mystery to the Body of Christ. This is why ignoring the audience creates doctrinal disaster. ๐Ÿ”ฅ RIGHT VERSE + WRONG AUDIENCE = WRONG DOCTRINE! โš”๏ธ SECOND โ€” OUR GOSPEL IS CHRISTโ€™S FINISHED WORK! โœ๏ธ๐Ÿฉธ๐Ÿ”ฅ What gospel saves TODAY? Paul tells us plainly: ๐Ÿ“– 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 โ€œMoreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospelโ€ฆโ€ Christ: โœ๏ธ DIED for our sins. โšฐ๏ธ Was BURIED. ๐Ÿ”ฅ ROSE AGAIN the third day. Where is water baptism in that gospel? IT ISNโ€™T THERE! ๐Ÿ’งโŒ Where is joining a church? โŒ Not there. Where is keeping commandments for justification? โŒ Not there. Where are religious ceremonies added to Christโ€™s finished work? โŒ NOT THERE! Our salvation rests entirely upon what CHRIST ACCOMPLISHED, not upon something WE accomplish afterward. โš”๏ธ THIRD โ€” FAITH IS NOT โ€œALMOST ENOUGHโ€! ๐Ÿ”ฅ This is where religious thinking becomes dangerous. People say: โ€œOf course I believe Jesus died for meโ€ฆ BUT I still have toโ€ฆโ€ ๐Ÿšจ STOP AT THE โ€œBUTโ€! ๐Ÿšจ The moment you make another act necessary to complete justification, you have moved away from resting solely in Christโ€™s finished work. ๐Ÿ“– Romans 4:5 โ€œBut to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.โ€ Read that again! ๐Ÿ”ฅ WORKETH NOT! God did not say: โ€œWorketh notโ€ฆ except for one religious ceremony.โ€ He said WORKETH NOT! โš”๏ธ FOURTH โ€” SALVATION IS BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH! ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐Ÿ“– Ephesians 2:8-9 โ€œFor by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.โ€ Salvation is a GIFT. ๐ŸŽ You donโ€™t help Christ finish the cross. You donโ€™t help Christ shed enough blood. You donโ€™t help Christ rise from the dead. And you donโ€™t complete His finished work by getting into a pool! ๐Ÿ’งโŒ ๐Ÿ”ฅ CHRIST DID THE SAVING. WE BELIEVE THE GOSPEL. โš”๏ธ FIFTH โ€” WHEN DO WE RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT? ๐Ÿ•Š๐Ÿ”ฅ Paul answers that too! ๐Ÿ“– Ephesians 1:13 โ€œIn whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,โ€ Notice what is missing: โŒ โ€œAfter ye were water baptizedโ€ฆโ€ โŒ โ€œAfter ye proved your faith through worksโ€ฆโ€ โŒ โ€œAfter ye completed a religious ordinanceโ€ฆโ€ The verse says: ๐Ÿ”ฅ AFTER THAT YE BELIEVED! ๐Ÿ”ฅ Hear the gospel. Believe the gospel. Trust Christ. Be sealed by the Holy Spirit. ๐Ÿ•Š โš”๏ธ SIXTH โ€” THERE IS ONE BAPTISM FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST! ๐Ÿ”ฅ Paul writes: ๐Ÿ“– Ephesians 4:5 โ€œOne Lord, one faith, one baptism,โ€ And Scripture identifies how believers enter the Body: ๐Ÿ“– 1 Corinthians 12:13 โ€œFor by one Spirit are we all baptized into one bodyโ€ฆโ€ THAT baptism does not require a preacher, a baptistry, a river, or a drop of water! ๐Ÿ’งโŒ It is the work of GOD, identifying the believer with Christ and placing him into the Body of Christ. ๐Ÿ”ฅ THE ONE BAPTISM TODAY IS SPIRITUAL โ€” NOT WATER! ๐Ÿ›‘ Stop saying water baptism is an outward expression of inward faith! Does Paul ever teach that? NO! It is really an outward expression of inward ignorance of Godโ€™s one baptism for us today. Water baptism is DISOEBEDIENCE to our Lordโ€™s one baptism for the Body today (Rom. 6:3-4; Eph. 4:5; Col. 2:12; Gal. 3:27; 1 Corinthians 12:13). And disobedient to 2 Timothy 2:15. โš”๏ธ SEVENTH โ€” SATAN TWISTS SCRIPTURE! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“– The devil does not always need to convince someone to throw away their Bible. Sometimes he only needs them to: โŒ Ignore who is speaking. โŒ Ignore who is being addressed. โŒ Ignore the context. โŒ Ignore progressive revelation. โŒ Mix Israel with the Body of Christ. โŒ Mix prophecy with mystery. โŒ Mix Peterโ€™s kingdom instructions with Paulโ€™s revelation. โŒ Add religious works to the gospel of grace. That is why something can be BIBLICAL and still be WRONGLY APPLIED! Circumcision is biblical. Animal sacrifices are biblical. Israelโ€™s dietary laws are biblical. Water baptism for remission of sins in Acts 2:38 is biblical. But that does NOT mean they are Godโ€™s instructions for the Body of Christ today! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ RIGHTLY DIVIDE! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ โš”๏ธ EIGHTH โ€” PAUL WARNED ABOUT ANOTHER GOSPEL! ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ“– ๐Ÿ“– Galatians 1:8 โ€œBut though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.โ€ This is serious. The issue isnโ€™t whether water exists in the Bible. Of course it does! The issue is whether God requires YOU, a member of the Body of Christ under grace, to be water baptized in order to be justified. Paulโ€™s answer is clear: โŒ NOT YOUR WORKS. โŒ NOT YOUR RELIGION. โŒ NOT YOUR WATER. โœ… CHRISTโ€™S FINISHED WORK! โœจ๐Ÿ”ฅ THE BOTTOM LINE ๐Ÿ”ฅโœจ The problem isnโ€™t Acts 2:38. Acts 2:38 is Godโ€™s Word! ๐Ÿ“– The problem is taking Acts 2:38 out of Israelโ€™s prophetic context and forcing it into Godโ€™s present dispensation of grace. Satanโ€™s deception is incredibly effective when he can persuade someone to use SCRIPTURE AGAINST SCRIPTURE by refusing to rightly divide it. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“– Do not allow anyone to convince you that Christโ€™s death, burial, and resurrection needs YOUR HELP to save you. ๐Ÿ”ฅ CHRIST IS ENOUGH! ๐Ÿ”ฅ HIS BLOOD IS ENOUGH! ๐Ÿ”ฅ HIS CROSS IS ENOUGH! ๐Ÿ”ฅ HIS RESURRECTION IS ENOUGH! ๐Ÿ”ฅ GRACE IS ENOUGH! ๐Ÿ”ฅ BELIEVE THE GOSPEL! ๐Ÿ“– 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 ๐Ÿ“– Romans 4:5 ๐Ÿ“– Ephesians 2:8-9 ๐Ÿ“– Ephesians 1:13 Stop mixing Israelโ€™s instructions with the Body of Christ. Stop adding water to the gospel. Stop turning Godโ€™s free gift into a religious transaction. โš”๏ธ STUDY. ๐Ÿ“– RIGHTLY DIVIDE. โœ๏ธ TRUST COMPLETELY IN CHRISTโ€™S FINISHED WORK!
