Amit was strangled to death in Pure Rajau hamlet of Mustafabad Belhani village under Dalmau police station, Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh by Rita and her husband Ram Prakash killed Amit and buried his body inside the house at Rita's maternal home. The body was recovered after police excavated the premises and has been sent for post-mortem examination. Rajdev Bharati (who had an upper-limb disability) of the Imamganj police station area of Gaya district, Bihar was murdered by wife and three accomplices. Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed after receiving information about the killing on 29 July 2026. According to Rural SP Dhyananjali Jaiswal, four accused—deceased's wife, her lover Raja Alam, Rohit Kumar, and Muna —were arrested within six hours. Dheeraj Kumar (24) attempted suicide by hanging himself from Arnota Bridge under the Basai Arela police station limits in Agra around 1 P.M. following prolonged domestic conflict. Villagers noticed him hanging beneath the bridge and informed the police. With the help of local youths, officers brought him down and shifted him to a hospital, where he remains under treatment. Abdul Qadir (28), a maulana at Husaini Masjid and a resident of Ansari locality under Fatehganj Paschimi police station, died on Wednesday evening after sustaining severe burn injuries when he poured petrol on himself and set himself ablaze on July 28 following a marital dispute. He had been married to Saima (24) for four years, and the couple have a three-year-old daughter and a one-and-a-half-year-old son. Vinay Yadav died by su*c*de after consuming poison in the Anand Nagar locality under Kotwali police station limits of Etawah.
