Another example of a commission that was expanded with a mat! For @elysianaut.bsky.social, whom I wish success in the EF Dealer's Den - image by image! The rectangles and framings here have a few meanings that relate to their life, as do the bogwood and the dawn colours. ALT:Anthro otter wizard in blue robe, striding over patches of grass in a bog, holding a rising sun symbol with his right arm, which is elongate and wooden. He's flanked by upright boogwood structures. The stepping "stones" are echoed by a set of alternating rectangles that follow the flow of his figure from the bottom right to the top left, going from red to light yellow. Abstract ray-like pieces like branches or light also streak in from the top right. Behind him is a square of sky blue, reflected in the bog, implying his intended destination or orientation. He looks back at the viewer.

Dream worth sharing: I start out leading two horses by a cliffside in the sun, considering it as an achievement. I go into town alone, away from nature. Huge partying crowds (furry con?), darkness falls. Looking for my best friend, but instead an unknown woman sits with me and points at a square on the ground. Is this for me, I ask, and she innocently teases that she knows nothing. Picking it up it is a locket. A hollow, finely woven snakelink chain of gold, and the rectangle has become a heart - opening it up inside is a silver bugs bunny spoon, first edition she says. "why am I crying, I'm not even nostalgic for this," I respond (lmao) One thing I will say about the funny spoon; bugs bunny is a trickster :3c

An anthro dragon inserts a sword (tool/key/discernment) into scrollwork (history/living material). Gunthbalt does irl swording (HEMA) and history. This crayon art just tries to connect those interests symbolically, with joy ^^ Thanks again!  Posted using PostyBirb
