TRUTH OR MYTH #speakingedition Does the time of my speaking affect my score? 🥹 Well, many people recommend avoiding lunchtime or afternoon as your speaking time as they believe examiners want to go for lunch or will be tired so morning is the best. While there is a chance that examiners mood sometimes might affect your score(rarely) , I stilll believe that it would be stupid to guess that when it is lunchtime in Uzbekistan, it is lunchtime for examiner too as many examiners conduct the speaking interviews from different countries and in mostly different time zones However, you have to keep in mind that the time of your speaking might affect your own performance so choose the time when you are sharp. If people tell you to go for 4 or 5 p.m but you are more active in the mornings, don't listen to them. Do Indian🇮🇳 examiners give you a lower score? I have to admit that Indian examiners have been disappointing me and my students for a while now. However, it doesnot mean that if you get an Indian examiner, it is over for you. There are many great examiners from India too. So, even if you get an Indian examiner, keep your cool and perform at your best. If you can perform properly, you will get what you deserve, believe me. But what happens if they give me a lower score? There is always a chance to complain. Once you complain, your speaking will be checked by another examiner without knowing your original score(you can read more here) . So, anyway you will get what you deserve for that performance. Therefore, the goal should be improving your performance in the exam rather than finding out the problem with examiners. Dont believe in everything you hear and don't let it ruin your exam. Stay safe🧘♂️

The pie charts show the percentage distribution of students over four different courses from 1984 to 2004. Overall, it is clear that more and more students started to opt for modern means of learning, with online courses showing the most pronounced growth in popularity despite appearing only in 1994, while traditional methods fell out of favor to a certain degree. Despite significant declines, face-to-face learning remained as the most common choice among students, but this was not the case with correspondence learning, eventually becoming the least preferred way of learning. Focusing on types of courses which accounted for smaller percentages over time, classroom learning stood out. In the beginning, two thirds of students chose classroom learning, followed distantly by correspondence learning, comprising 20%. While they both recorded somewhat a similar degree of fall, it varied in certain aspects. The former dropped to 40%, yet remained as the most common choice , whereas the latter only declined in the last ten years, making up merely 5% and becoming the least popular choice. Online learning and mixed-media classes, on the other hand, grew in popularity. In 1984, 13 percent of students went for mixed-media courses, but online courses were not on offer at that time. It was only a decade later online classes gained some popularity, accounting for a similar percentage to mixed-media ones, standing at 12% and 14%, respectively. In the final ten years, they both showed a growth of varying degrees, with online classes tripling to 35%, overtaking both mixed-media and correspondence courses to become the second most popular choice, whereas mixed-media courses made up a fifth. #taskone #bombaa
