доля реакций к просмотрам- 17 авг.Guys, это Оля speaking. Ровно два года назад я впервые пришла в LESC с довольно понятной целью - говорить по-английски. Потому что можно годами учить язык, знать времена, читать книги, смотреть сериалы, а потом кто-то внезапно спрашивает тебя So, what do you think? и все твои знания quietly leave the room. Сначала самым важным оказалось просто начать говорить. Потом - перестать заранее конструировать идеальное предложение в голове. Затем обнаружить, что если перепутать времена, забыть слово или сказать что-нибудь немного weird, nothing terrible actually happens. А дальше выяснилось, что speaking practice - это только часть происходящего. Потому что есть ещё пятничные клубы, после которых somehow наступает afterparty. Есть субботние встречи, после которых the weekend just hits different. Есть кинопросмотры, пикники, спонтанные планы и, apparently, we are people who go hiking together now??? But most importantly, there are people. Очень разные, но одинаково любопытные, готовые обсуждать почти всё на свете, задавать вопросы, спорить, смеяться и действительно слушать друг друга. И в какой-то момент ты понимаешь, что пришёл сюда практиковать английский, а нашёл ещё и место, куда хочется возвращаться каждую неделю. The speaking skills? Yes. The confidence? Absolutely. The details. The fabric. The community. Спасибо тьюторам за то, что уже столько времени создаёте и поддерживаете это пространство. И всем, кто приходит на клубы и делает его именно таким. Кажется, лучший результат разговорного клуба - это момент, когда перестаёшь думать о нём только как о месте, где нужно practice your English. You just come to see your people.
