Hello traders!  Let's talk about the one thing that separates traders who last from traders who don't: risk management. Not the most exciting topic. But the most important one. Let’s break down where most traders go wrong. Risking too much on one trade. If one trade can wipe 20% of your account, you are not trading, you are gambling. Risk 1–2% per trade maximum. That way even 10 losses in a row don't finish you. Moving the stop loss Your stop loss is there for a reason. The moment you move it because you don't want to be wrong—it's when you've already lost, just haven't accepted it yet. A small loss is part of trading. A moved stop is a choice. Thinking lot size doesn't matter It does. More than your entry. More than your analysis. A perfect setup with the wrong lot size will still hurt you. Size the trade to the stop. Not the other way around. Thinking only about profit Before any trade ask yourself, how much am I willing to lose on this? If you don't have an answer, don't enter. Protecting capital is the job. Profit is the reward for doing it properly. The traders who blow accounts aren't always the ones with bad analysis. They're the ones who never learned to control what they risk.
