🎵 I knew almost nothing about English the first time I heard this song. Back then, there was a channel called "TV Markaz" that used to air concerts by foreign singers like Michael Bublé. I fell in love with this song the moment I heard it, even though English still felt like a distant language to me. But there was something about it I couldn't get enough of — something that felt, strangely, already dear to me. It turned out to be the first spark of what would become my passion for learning and teaching English. I'm happy to say I've now realized one of my long-held goals: fluency in English. And I'm certain it will take me even further, to places I haven't yet imagined. To everyone out there learning English — however difficult the road feels — trust the process, and trust yourself. #songs PS. This is a post I made a while back when I was teaching around 10 students in our living room. Look how far we've come, folks. I always advise my students to be realistic about the status quo and optimistic about the future because this is one principle I've been living by for the better part of my adult life. Try it. On Fatherhood It's been almost two months since I became a father, and I had no idea how amazing it would be. I used to hear people say they come home to their children and instantly unwind — that just looking at their kids melts away all the stresses of life — and honestly, I thought that was a stretch. Now that I'm living it myself, I regret ever doubting it, because it really is that fulfilling. You might not believe me, but I well up with joy just looking at my little daughter and her inquisitive eyes. Even writing this, I'm overwhelmed with emotion — joy, happiness, gratitude, all at once. I'm kinder and gentler than I've ever been. For this, and for all the other blessings bestowed upon me by God, I'm forever grateful! #life @Ogabeksblog

🔤🔤🔤🔤 This is the show I've been watching for the past two weeks. Truth be told, I didn't like it that much at first because the characters seemed too shallow and predictable - I'm not sure if it's because I'm good at guessing what a certain character would say or do in a given situation, or simply because the writing is made for a casual audience. Despite my initial disappointment - especially since everyone I talked to kept telling me that it's a great show - I sort of got into it and will soon finish season one. The way I see it, it feels like an extended mystery movie - one where you solve one puzzle after another. I don't have high hopes, but I'm gonna keep watching as there are still a few mysteries I have yet to solve) #shows @Ogabeksblog

🔤🔤🔤🔤 To be honest, it'd been a while since movies stopped to make me feel anything. But Dune - parts 1 and 2 - is engrossing enough to keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. I really didn't want it to end. I was part of its world. I was living, laughing, crying with the characters as I was watching. As for the sequel - which I watched immediately afterward, of course - when the anticipation is feverish, it sets up movies to disappoint and fail. This one does the total opposite. It smashes all those expectations. Both are visually stunning, emotionally gripping and absolutely unforgettable! #movies @Ogabeksblog
