The FBI expended significant resources to solve the case and even got the suspect to confess. But the Biden DOJ via the U.S. attorney in Phoenix and three state and local prosecutors all declined to prosecute. No accountability. The episode highlights the threat President Trump raised in his speech a few weeks ago that U.S. intelligence has believed since January 2020 that voter registration data is not well protected. China has gotten 220 million such files via buying, stealing or hacking. A guy in Arizona got 600,000-plus just by writing a script that bypassed weak security. Both got nonpublic data.
