Russia has now struck 3 out of the 9 bridges in Slovyansk since August 3, including two bridges which were destroyed and one which was heavily damaged. These 9 bridges include pedestrian and road ones, and do not include railway bridges.

Russian KAB glide-bombs destroyed another bridge over the Kazenyi Torets River in Slovyansk, this time a pedestrian bridge connecting the southern suburbs with the southeastern suburbs. This is the third bridge to be struck in Slovyansk in recent weeks.

Kostyantynivka direction. Over the past few weeks, the general situation only slightly further worsened on the flanks, with the rest of the direction practically not seeing any net changes. Overall, the situation is defined as very hard, leaning to but not yet critical. The best way to describe it with words is that in the city itself there's a "chaotic stability," and the best comparison I can make is with Kupyansk in October-November 2025. In short, a stalemate. In particular, the Russians continue infiltrating along the usual routes they've always taken for months; the Ukrainians accordingly steadily eliminate a good amount of them through combined efforts of UAVs and physical clearing groups (the "chaotic" part), but they aren't able to eliminate more than the number of new Russian infiltrators that manage to enter the city and can only reach rough parity. This means that the total number of Russians in Kostyantynivka itself remains more or less the same, sometimes slightly diminishing or increasing, which is where the "stability" part comes from. I'll also take the chance to reiterate clearly: 1. Ukrainian forces continue holding positions in practically all parts of Kostyantynivka, in an approximate gradient of density decreasing from northwest to southeast, and unfortunately, near Ivanopillya as well. Up to some weeks ago, some Ukrainians were still in Pleshchiivka, while everybody had long dismissed this possibility. 2. For now, the Russians still haven't activated inside Chasiv Yar itself, which, as a minimum, rules out it being completely captured by the Russians as of the time writing. Just like last time, I don't have direct proof of Ukrainian positions in the town, only indirect, but it still hints that this is true.

Dobropillia direction. According to DeepState data, Russian forces by now constantly infiltrate into southern, eastern, and northern Bilytske and have occupied several important strongpoints in the form of underground trench systems just south of the town. This development is more significant than it looks, as it's the first Russian-consolidated territory over Ukraine's first obstacle line after Pokrovsk city (mostly 3 ditches and 2 barbed wire lines, but in the Bilytske area there's a passage, and nearby areas are composed of as little as 1 ditch and 2 barbed wire lines, as the defensive line is incomplete). Furthermore, the new Russian positions over the defensive line will enable them to attack directly westwards towards Svitle in the close future by crossing many fewer obstacles, in particular, in an east-west direction. Because of the nature of obstacles, even while under Russian control, this won't make the general offensive situation easier for them, as they will still have to reach their farthest positions by crossing chokepoints or the obstacles themselves under Ukrainian UAV control, but having consolidated territory just at the doors of Bilytske on two sides will significantly pressure Ukrainian UAV crews and defenders there from the close future onwards. Until now, the Ukrainians combined FPVs and physical clearing groups to counter Russian infiltrations into Bilytske, but it's likely that by now this strategy isn't enough to eliminate more Russians than the ones entering, enabling the total number of Russians inside the town to slowly rise, just like it was for Pokrovsk and Kostyantynivka. Bilytske is essential to safeguard the eastern gate of the Svitle-Vodyanske agglomeration, which is in turn the southern gate for Dobropillia, where two Russian groupings are both converging. A crucial role in the worsening of the situation in Bilytske was definitely also played by Russia's control over Rodynske, strengthened and exploited already for months.

Another bridge in Slovyansk was destroyed by Russian KAB glide-bomb strikes, this time connecting the eastern industrial districts to the northeastern suburbs. This is the third bridge to be struck in Slovyansk in recent weeks. This bridge has been closed to civilians since 2022 due to its low quality, and was used exclusively by the military.

По відгукам молодші командири деяких підрозділів 425 ОШП «Скеля» мають доволі таки позитивне враження від взаємодії з представниками 1 корпусу «Азов», дещо навіть здивовані певними підходами у ставленні до особового складу під час бойової роботи. Банально, на них ніхто не забив болт, як більшість робить з приданими підрозділами.
