Russian Geran-4 jet-drones impacted a warehouse reportedly storing drones in the town of Dmytrivka, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, and a (claimed) Ukrainian temporary deployment point in Dobropillya, Donetsk Oblast. The strike on Dobropillya was filmed up-close by a Russian FPV drone.

Drone figures for the last 12 hours (17/8/2026): The Ukrainian Air Force claims that Russia launched 128 Geran-2/3/4/5 and Gerbera drones, while the Russian Ministry of Defence claims that Ukraine launched at least 205 mid-to-long-range drones of various types.

The Russian Ministry of Defence claims that overnight Geran-4 jet-drone strikes on Odesa Oblast targeted a Project 205P Tarantul Patrol Boat of the Ukrainian Navy at Odesa Port, a berthing terminal at Izmail Port, as well as hangars and warehouses allegedly storing western-supplied military equipment and drone-boats.

This morning, a Russian Geran-4 jet-drone impacted an unknown target near Poltava City.

Overnight, Russia carried out a combined attack on the Kherson area with KAB glide-bombs and Geran-2 drones. At least 2 KAB glide-bombs impacted Kherson City, while at least 10 Geran-2 drones attacked something near the town of Stepanivka, just north of Kherson. Multiple fires broke out after the strikes.

Overnight, Russian Geran-4 jet-drones attacked Sumy City, resulting in large fires breaking out. At least 6 impacts were recorded. Additionally, drones attacked something near the city of Konotop, Sumy Oblast.
