In a recent interview, Deputy Chief of Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence Major General Vadym Skibitskyi made a series of interesting claims about Russian missile and drone production rates. According to him, Russia is producing the following missiles at these rates: - Iskander-M ballistic missile: 65 missiles in July (exceeding the set target of 60 by 108%) - Kh-101 cruise missile: 87 missiles in July (exceeding the set target of 72 by 140%). - Kalibr cruise missile: 29 missiles in July (exceeding the set target of 26 by 111%). Most of these are reportedly being allocated to reserve stockpiles other fleets rather than for attacks on Ukraine. - Zircon hypersonic cruise missile: 33 missiles during the first 7 months of 2026 (average of 4.7 per month). - Oniks supersonic cruise missile: 60 missiles during the first 7 months of 2026 (average of 8.6 per month). Additionally, he claimed that Russia has suspended production of Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missiles and Kh-32 supersonic cruise missiles due to their extremely low accuracy, and are instead focusing on increasing production of Iskander-M ballistic missiles. (This would explain why Russia has not launched any Kinzhals for multiple months, and very few Kh-32s). He also stated that Russia aims to produce a record 11,000 Geran-2, Geran-3, Geran-4, Geran-5, Garpiya, and Gerbera, drones during August. Russia reportedly reduced the production rate of Geran-2s to focus on producing Geran-4 and Geran-5 jet-drones, which consisted of around 50% of all drones used in a recent large-scale attack. Furthermore, he claimed that Russia's planned production rates for RM-48U modified S-400 ballistic missiles is 40 units for August, which recently entered mass production. The production rate of Kh-35 supersonic cruise missiles was reportedly exceeded by 200% so far this year.

Due to the fact that Ukraine currently cannot shoot down Russian Iskander-M ballistic missiles and Zircons, the Ukrainian Air Force has stopped providing daily reports on the numbers of missiles being shot down so they don't have to admit to a 0% interception rate.

Це створює додатковий ризик для західного сектору, де вже фіксується розширення сірої зони та спроби противника проводити приховані просування. Таким чином, ситуація навколо населеного пункту поступово переходить від локального просування до формування ширшої зони нестабільного контролю. 🇺🇦Окремо варто враховувати інфільтрацію з південного напрямку в бік Оріхуватки. За моїми даними, окупанти використовують район Юрківки як один із напрямків подальшого просування по природному пониженню місцевості — як у бік Заповідного, так і в напрямку Оріхуватки. Це потенційно створює умови для одночасного тиску на декількох ділянках і ускладнює визначення основного напрямку подальшого руху. 🇺🇦Ще один важливий момент — Миколаївка. Якщо інформація про появу малих диверсійно-розвідувальних груп на околицях підтверджується, не можна виключати їхнє проникнення безпосередньо в межі населеного пункту. На цьому етапі це радше ознака розширення розвідувальної активності русні, однак за відсутності своєчасного виявлення такі проникнення можуть поступово ускладнювати ситуацію всередині та навколо Миколаївки. 🌚Загалом: на Слов'янському напрямку формується небезпечна сукупність факторів — втрата Рай-Олександрівки, розширення сірої зони західніше, активність із району Юрківки та можливі проникнення малих груп у напрямку Миколаївки. Summary of Russia's missile and drone attacks on Ukraine over the last week (July 20-26, 2026): The following was launched: ~ 28 Kh-59/69 cruise missiles ~ 15 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles ~ 14 Oniks supersonic cruise missiles ~ 4 Kh-22/32 cruise missiles ~ 2 Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles ~ 1 Kh-31P anti-radar missile ~ 1,099+ drones (Geran-2/3/4/5, Italmas, Gerbera, Banderol). That's a total of ~64 missiles, of which a *minimum* of 10 were shot down (2 Iskander-Ms & 8 Kh-59/69s). Note: the drone count does not include FPV drones such as Molniya-1. Missile strikes were carried out on Odesa, Poltava, and Kyiv Oblasts, while drone strikes were carried out on Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr and Donetsk Oblasts, as well as Kyiv City. Because of these unprecedented Russian DRG infiltrations north of Dobropillya, up to 10.5 km from the nearest Russian zone of control, one of two main logistical routes leading into the city - the Kramatorsk-Dobropillya Highway - is now effectively unusable. Until Ukraine is able to clear out these DRGs, they will be forced to only use the Novodonetske-Dobropillya Highway further west, which Russian DRGs are also very close to, or other smaller dirt roads. This creates a sort of "funnelling" effect, with a higher concentration of Ukrainian movement down this one main road, providing more targets for Russian FPV drones. What's also notable is the Russian DRG infiltrations into the southeastern parts of Dobropillya, as well as the infiltration of multiple small assault groups into the eastern part of Hannivka, just east of the city, which ties up limited Ukrainian resources that could be used to help defend against intensified Russian offensive operations elsewhere in this sector.

The 1st Corps of the Ukrainian National Guard "Azov" repelled a massive Russian mechanised assault in the Dobropillya direction on July 22, near the village of Shakhove. The attack involved a large column of at least 13 Russian tanks and armoured vehicles, BM-21 "Grad" MLRS, a Tornado-S MLRS, light equipment, motorbikes, as well as Gerbera and Lancet drones. Ukrainian forces repelled the attack using artillery, MLRS, FPV drones, pre-placed anti-tank mines, and tactical aviation. They carried out an airstrike on a bridge in Novoekonomichne used by the Russians, and then destroyed pontoon bridges set up later. They struck the Tornado-S launcher with an FPV drone (as well as reportedly the Grad launcher too), shot down Russian Gerbera and Lancet drones, and targeted Russian infantry, tanks, armoured vehicles, and motorcycles with FPV drones. Russian sources later confirmed that no advances were made as a result of this attack.
