This is strictly an educational post because I care about the community and have never asked anyone here for anything and NEVER will. In fact, I’ve donated to many of your GoFundMe’s anonymously because I care deeply. ⚠️ This will be the last post you see from me on this platform. See some of you on the other side. ✨ I have learned from some of the top security experts in crypto. So, please understand just how easy it can be to become a victim of theft in crypto after this RV: On most public blockchains, all someone needs is your wallet address to see what is in that wallet. They can often see your balances, tokens, incoming and outgoing transactions, and sometimes other wallets you regularly interact with. It’s not like a bank account where that is private. It’s a fully transparent system (for better and worse.) Your wallet address alone does NOT give them access to your money— True. But it tells a scammer exactly how valuable a target you may be. From there, they may try to get you to: • Click a fake link • Claim a “free” token or airdrop • Connect your wallet to a website • “Verify” or “activate” your wallet • Approve a transaction or permission you don’t understand And this is the dangerous part: A scammer does not necessarily need your password or seed phrase to steal crypto. If they trick you into signing the wrong transaction or granting a malicious smart contract permission to move your tokens, they may be able to drain those assets — sometimes immediately and sometimes much later. That is why unsolicited “free token drops,” wallet setup assistance, QFS wallet links, staking offers, Telegram support accounts, and strangers offering to walk you through wallet setup should be treated with extreme caution. Scammers frequently pose as helpers first. Some will build trust for weeks or months if they believe a large amount of money may eventually enter that wallet. And after an RV or any other major liquidity event, a wallet suddenly holding six, seven or eight figures becomes a very attractive target. Never connect a wallet containing serious money to a link someone sends you. Never approve something you don’t completely understand. And never assume something is safe simply because it came from someone you trust — their account could have been compromised too. In crypto, your wallet may be visible to the entire world. Your security depends on making sure visibility never becomes access.
