"And I will remember my covenant."— Genesis 9:15 Mark the form of the promise. God does not say, "And when ye shall look upon the bow, and ye shall remember my covenant, then I will not destroy the earth," but it is gloriously put, not upon our memory, which is fickle and frail, but upon God's memory, which is infinite and immutable. "The bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant." Oh! it is not my remembering God, it is God's remembering me which is the ground of my safety; it is not my laying hold of his covenant, but his covenant's laying hold on me. Glory be to God! the whole of the bulwarks of salvation are secured by divine power, and even the minor towers, which we may imagine might have been left to man, are guarded by almighty strength. Even the remembrance of the covenant is not left to our memories, for we might forget, but our Lord cannot forget the saints whom he has graven on the palms of his hands. It is with us as with Israel in Egypt; the blood was upon the lintel and the two side-posts, but the Lord did not say, "When you see the blood I will pass over you," but "When I see the blood I will pass over you." My looking to Jesus brings me joy and peace, but it is God's looking to Jesus which secures my salvation and that of all his elect, since it is impossible for our God to look at Christ, our bleeding Surety, and then to be angry with us for sins already punished in him. No, it is not left with us even to be saved by remembering the covenant. There is no linsey-wolsey here-not a single thread of the creature mars the fabric. It is not of man, neither by man, but of the Lord alone. We should remember the covenant, and we shall do it, through divine grace; but the hinge of our safety does not hang there-it is God's remembering us, not our remembering him; and hence the covenant is an everlasting covenant.

This may come as a shock, but Israel didn’t get what they were promised; they only got what they fought for. Everyone got deliverance from Egypt, but not everyone got dominion in the promised land. Only those who were willing to “tread” on, exercise their authority, crush the enemy, wage warfare and fight got something.

What produces you must also sustain you. The faith that brought you to Christ is the same faith you must continue to live by. Don’t abandon the faith that started your journey. Keep trusting God, keep believing, and keep walking with Him. 🙏🔥

Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” The Bible does not leave us ignorant about our enemy. Satan is a liar, a deceiver, and the father of lies. His goal is to draw people away from God’s truth and destroy their faith. That is why believers are called to stay alert and spiritually awake. The good news is that we do not fight from a place of fear but from a place of victory in Christ. As we submit ourselves to God, stand on His Word, and resist the devil, he has no choice but to flee. God’s truth always overcomes the enemy’s lies. Today, choose to fill your heart with God’s Word rather than the voices of fear, doubt, or deception. The truth of Christ will keep you standing firm and walking in freedom. PRAYER FOCUS Heavenly Father, help me to remain alert and grounded in Your truth. Give me discernment to recognize every lie of the enemy and the strength to resist him. I submit my life completely to You and declare that I will walk in the victory Christ has won for me. Heavenly citizenship cannot be obtained by human effort, status, or achievement. It is only through Jesus Christ that we become citizens of the Kingdom of God. 👑 Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Put your faith in Him and secure your eternal citizenship. 🙏✨

Prayer for Healing and Restoration: Heavenly Father, I come to You in prayer, knowing that You are the LORD who heals me. I ask that You take away sickness, infirmity and pain from me and restore me to health. I thank You for sending Your Son into the world, who drove out evil spirits with a command and cured all who were sick. Your love and compassion have not changed. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. I ask for Your Holy Spirit to flow through me and for the destruction of Satan’s work in my life. I bless You, Father, and forget none of your benefits. I trust in your promise to forgive all my sins and heal all my diseases. I believe that by Jesus’ wounds, I have been healed. I thank You, Jesus, for dying for my sins, shedding Your precious blood, for cleansing me from all unrighteousness, and healing all my infirmities. I give You all the glory and praise. 'Light for Everyone' — John 1:8-9 John himself was not the light; he was simply a witness to tell about the light. The one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. — John 1:8-9 NLT John wasn't the light. No, the true light was going to come for everyone. John's ministry was primarily in the desert and to Israelites, but his message wasn't to prepare just Israel for the Messiah. No, we all need his message. Unlike John, the Messiah wasn't going to set up his ministry in the desert and have people come to him. The true light was coming into the world to save all the world. He was going to shine for all people: men and women, slaves and free, Jew and Gentile. [1] Since Jesus is the true light, since he died for our sins and saved us, and since we are his disciples, we need to ask ourselves a crucial question: "What are we - what am I - doing to make sure that everyone gets to know Jesus, God's true light for the world?" Today's Prayer O Father, give me a bigger heart for those that I don't know. Use me to share Jesus with those outside my cultural comfort zone.
