i think there is a difference between someone taking inspiration, tweaking and making better versus just blatant carbon copy. im not as kind as genuine as i like ... thats true. what bothers me and makes me a hater is ... when they take something that someone spent like months on and feed it to claude to produce a poor imitation with the intent to compete. the "stealing" i like is when you see some nice implementation and then adopt it and make it yours. like i saw this on twitter a while ago https://x.com/mikkmartin/status/1846208695002136655 and then made it into the sleep exploration. different usecase, just stole the mechanics of "space saving fisheye", i didnt make the same thing mikk made and post it to try to "grab some users and twist it for a quick buck" also yes i feel very good inside when i see others efforts. i was cheering mihretab on for the whole duration of him making stark. but yeah thats my 2 cents. #life_lessons
