The traders who make the most amount of money are usually the ones who are least active on the chart. The more trades you take, the more risk you expose yourself to. So whenever you feel yourself about to tilt, remember this, you don’t need to be in the market to make money. the best trade is no trade at all.

I know most of you are probably wondering why I’m risking $100 on a $50K account. That’s only 0.2%. I don’t think I stress this enough: when trading a funded account whether it’s your own money or a prop firm account always start slow. Don’t jump in risking 1% on your first few trades. That’s unnecessary. You can get lucky, hit a few trades, and make huge profits. But if your goal is to keep these accounts for years, you need to focus on longevity, not speed. For funded accounts, I like starting with 0.2% risk per trade. Once I’m up around 1%, I can comfortably return to my normal risk. You’re essentially building a buffer without putting the account under unnecessary pressure. The goal isn’t to make as much money as possible on day one. The goal is to stay in the game long enough to make money consistently.

Took a long on #XAUUSD intraday scalp. Full target hit for 6R. Only risked $100 (0.2%) to make $500. Also secured a payout with fundex. There’s still unfinished business to the upside, and that’s the draw on liquidity I’m watching. I’m looking for a clean expansion into those highs, with a potential 20R return on this setup.

US30 highs look clean. We’ve already taken sellside liquidity, so I want to see price reach for the buyside liquidity resting above those highs next.

Noticed how both Gold and Dow failed to displace to the upside? There’s still unfinished business below, with discount PD arrays for price to reach into. Most of the clean long setups are sitting in discount.
