    S1 question (Hard question) It is known that when 2 pieces of clean metals contact with each others, the metals will joined together without fusion or heating required and it is called as cold welding. This phenomenon usually occurs in space but not on earth and it leads to some mechanical problems in early satellites. Explain why this phenomenon occurs in space but not on earth.

    Hi guys, this is the registration information for K3M (Kuiz Kimia Kebangsaan) 2026. It is a high-level chemistry quiz that requires a strong understanding of the chemistry field.     S2 question (Forwarded) It is known that for decomposition of 3.0 mol of dinitrogen tetroxide in 2 dm² vessel at 1°C, the initial rate is 6.75x10³ mol dm⁻³ s⁻¹ and for dimerisation of 1.5 mol nitrogen dioxide in 0.25 dm³ vessel at 0°C, the initial rate is 0.0720 mol dm⁻³ s⁻¹. The activation energy for forward reaction and backward reaction are 57.2 kJ mol⁻¹ and 57.0 kJ mol⁻¹ respectively. Determine the value of rate constant for forward reaction and backward reaction at 25°C and hence, determine the value of K꜀ and Kₚ at 25°C.
