📱 is all you need! After three years of trying, I’ve finally set up a system in Notion to manage different aspects of my life. I can’t even count how many times I’ve tried, promising myself every New Year and on my birthday that I’d get it done, inspired by people who seem to manage everything effortlessly using Notion. I used to feel jealous of how they kept it all organized in one place. One of the main reasons I struggled to set up my system was starting from scratch .... and wanted everything to be perfect, rather than just beginning with what I had and improving it along the way. If you haven’t heard of Notion, here’s a brief introduction, though I’m sure you’ve at least heard the name. Notion is an online productivity tool that lets you manage almost any aspect of your life from a laptop or mobile device. It’s used by individuals and large companies alike. In an interview, Eshetu from Donkey Tube mentioned that they use Notion for all their organizational needs to boost productivity. I was surprised to hear that a local company used it. Similarly, you can use it for personal tasks like managing projects (even with teams), tracking finances, planning daily tasks, organizing your goals and anything you can name. What I love most about Notion is the flexibility it offers. One of its standout features is the "Formula" property, which lets you create custom logic. It’s like programming but much simpler! The day I figured this out, my mind was blown. And this is all available in the free version ..... I can’t imagine what the paid version offers! Plus, the user interface is designed to make it easy to create exactly what you need. It’s incredible how much it offers while still being so simple to use. This year, I researched ways to build my system more efficiently. I found that starting with a free Notion template and customizing it to fit my needs was the most effective approach. It gives you a solid foundation, and some templates might even meet your needs without any changes. Here are a few templates I used: 1. Habit Tracker 2. Finance Tracker 3. Book Tracker 4.
