It’s not just size—it’s specialized biology. 🐘⚡️ * Elephant: A trunk with 40,000 muscles can lift over 700 lbs. * Gorilla: Dense muscle fibers allow them to exert force 6x stronger than a human. * Crocodile: Evolution’s ultimate "trap" with the highest bite pressure ever recorded. * Blue Whale: Massive propulsion systems designed to move 200 tons through water. * Golden Eagle: Precision mechanics that allow it to carry prey 4x its own weight. The Verdict: Whether it's bite mechanics or muscle density, every species is a masterpiece of survival engineering. 🧬 #Facts #Wildlife #Biology #Nature #Science #Evolution #Telegram0,66%

Hidden high above ground level, it’s opened only on rare ceremonial occasions and remains completely inaccessible to the public. ✨ Made of gold, elevated by design, and protected by tradition— the door isn’t about mystery for curiosity’s sake, but preservation of faith, meaning, and history. Not every secret is meant to be uncovered. Some are meant to be respected. #History #Culture #Architecture #Mystery0,63%

To compensate, it makes predictions based on past experiences and incoming sensory data — so you feel like you’re living in real time. 👁 You never see the present — only your brain’s best guess of it. 🌀 This is why: Optical illusions work Athletes react before things happen “Gut feelings” can be real #Facts #Science #Neuroscience0,49%

From pyramids to cave art, humanity was building, writing, calculating, and storytelling thousands of years before “countries” were even a concept. These objects aren’t just old — they’re proof that civilization began with curiosity, skill, and memory, not governments. A powerful reminder: 🪐 Modern nations are just recent pages in a much older human story. #History #Ancient_World #Archaeology #Human_Origins #Civilizations #Knowledge #Culture #Time_Travel #History0,39%
  • 18 нояб. 2024 г.The AI innovation of the year is here. UK telecom company Virgin Media has unveiled Daisy, an audio chatbot that takes the persona of a confused grandmother and is fine-tuned to do nothing except make phone scammers angry. "As 'Head of Scammer Relations,' this state-of-the-art AI Granny's mission is to talk with fraudsters and waste as much of their time as possible with human-like rambling," Virgin Media wrote. To keep scammers occupied, Daisy deploys confusing transgressions about her family and love of knitting. When pressed for bank information, she'll provide scammers with random numbers. And it's no coincidence the company chose a grandmother persona for the bot. Doing so, Virgin Media says, plays on "scammers' biases about older people" and better protects those exact people from becoming scam victims. Read more about how the technology works at the link in our bio. #scammers #ai #chatbot | Futurism by ASM Channels0,32%

  • 31 окт. 2024 г.The Sound of a Robot Musician: A pair of robotic arms played the cello alongside an orchestra in Sweden earlier this month. A researcher programmed the arms and a 3D-printed appendage allowed it to manipulate the fretboard. It all made for a, uh, not particularly emotive performance. • 14 нояб. 2024 г.China's military is reportedly working on an experimental weapon system that converges multiple streams of microwaves into a powerful energy beam. In other words: the Death Star from "Star Wars," albeit on a much smaller scale and with a few other differences. Scientists claim they've "completed experimental trials on its potential military use." Doing so would require some exceptional precision: positional accuracy of mere millimeters and time synchronization of 170 trillionths of a second. The latter figure is more precise than an atomic clock. The scientists say that combining streams of microwaves could create a higher output than the sum of the individual beams. In any event, it wouldn't be blowing up adversary targets. But it could purportedly jam signals of US-owned GPS satellites, "achieving multiple goals such as teaching and training, new technology verification, and military exercises." Read the full story at the link in our bio. #microwave #energy #weapons | Futurism by ASM Channels0,24%

  • 6 дек. 2024 г.You could one day drive a car powered by an unsightly, beach-tarring, environmentally harmful substance. Seaweed, of course. A group of scientists in the Caribbean recently launched the first-ever vehicles converted to run on sargassum, an invasive seaweed that has turned popular beaches into an unsightly mess, and they're optimistic about its future. First, experts put mounds of the brown, sludgy weed inside a bioreactor with rum distillery wastewater to make a biogas. Then, they use a conversion kit that can turn a conventional gas-powered car into one that runs on the seaweed product. Researchers at the University of the West Indies in Barbados — where the sargassum invasion is a national emergency — have developed such a kit for just $2,500. The group is now working to scale up their efforts. See what's next at the link in our bio. #seaweed #sargassum #biogas | Futurism by ASM Channels0,21%
