Oral Roberts challenged Carlton Pearson over his position on hell, Kathryn Kuhlman boycotted Bob Mumford over the Shepherding movement, Billy Graham warned televangelists about being puffed up with pride. And Charles Finney openly rejected Calvinism. Why didn’t I go to Kathryn Krick privately? Paul again is clear – if someone goes public with falsehood, they are to be rebuked publicly. 1 Timothy 1:3, “As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain people not to teach false doctrines any longer.” 1 Timothy 5:20, “Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear.” Now I am warning the Charismatic movement. John Wesley would tilt in his grave if he could see what the Methodist church has now become. It was once a fire that burned with revival on five continents. Now it’s a mockery of its roots. The same thing is happening to the Charismatic movement. green green Kathryn Krick was a test that forces us to ask burning questions: Why have so few Charismatic leaders – if any – rebuked Krick? Here’s why: She is the logical conclusion and end result of many of their own imbalances—imbalances they have trended toward for decades. She takes mass deliverance, selling miracles, love of money, cover ups, false prophecy, avoiding doctrine, and being domineering to an extreme. Because these Charismatic leaders do a little of what she does a lot, calling her out could cause an embarrassing comparison. How were so many people fooled? How did someone who is this outlandish, fool so many? Again, it has to do with the years we have drifted from Biblical Christianity. The low-grade carnival spirit on the edges of our movement has groomed people to be susceptible to cultish leaders. The list is long: -Touting emotional experiences brought widespread biblical illiteracy. -Hyper-emphasis on deliverance made people see demons everywhere.\ -False prophets have been giving daily messages that many use like horoscopes instead of the Bible. -Ministries have long either inferred, or out-and-out stated, that miracles come by sowing money. Satan saw how our lack of discernment had ripened to the point where it was the perfect time to ‘release the Kricken’. black black And so she appeared. But charismatic corruption goes deeper than this. -Music ministries charging obscene amounts of money. -Spirit-filled churches replaced the Holy Spirit with Rick Warren’s growth model. -Spirit-filled colleges loosened their views on homosexuality. But the Holy Spirit is not simply grieved by what we are doing—it’s also when we are doing it. Ananias, along with Sapphira did not lose their lives just because they stole money. It was also when they stole it. God was doing so many miracles that even Peter’s shadow healed the sick. But the church was also under its greatest threat! It was a momentous season and God brought correction to protect the fledgling movement. Likewise, this generation is playing Charismatic games while Islam is spreading and communism is rearing its ugly head. Meanwhile, a great youth awakening is spreading around the world. And God will protect it. But if we repent, there remains a great promise: Revelation 2:2-5, “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.” Amen.

The charismatic movement is as lukewarm as the secessionists. The lack of discernment in both camps is horrifying. The following is copied from Mario Murillo's blog post on Kathryn Krick. Mario is one of the only big charismatic ministries to speak out against this false apostle and arch heretic. And his thesis is right - she is a symptom to a sickness in the Charismatic Church: Is Kathryn Krick a false apostle? Yes she is. But she is much more than a false apostle. She is a test—a test that will decide if the Charismatic movement will survive. More on that later in this blog. Her fraud is proven. During one session, she left a child writhing on the floor, claiming the “Holy Spirit” revealed to her that the mother had given money to fortune tellers instead of ministries. Kathryn weaponized this in order to delay the child’s deliverance. Kathryn exploited the mother’s desperation with five words: “Ten percent is not enough.” Think of the grotesque caricature those words paint of God: “I would heal your child, but first—where is My money?” She came to L.A. with “a heart full of fire for God” to become an actress. Is Kathryn a famished narcissist whose desperate hunger for the spotlight has utterly erased her conscience? Consider how she said she came to L.A. with “a heart full of fire for God” to become an actress. So why was her first role on a pilot for a TV show where she played a porn star, pouring drinks to seduce a young naïve man? Next, she did a commercial for a dating app where she appears in a bikini. Finally, she does a reality show in which she walks up to a perfect stranger and engages in a prolonged kiss with him “to see if any sparks fly.” Is she simply a failed actress who traded Hollywood stages for the pulpit, trading a manufactured “fire for God” for pure, unadulterated self-worship? That heresy grants an “Apostle” unlimited control over a disciple. Yet the true terror is not her brokenness, but the lethal weapon she makes of the title “Apostle.” She got that weapon from her spiritual father, the “Doctor Prophet” GeorDavie from Tanzania. He preaches that we cannot come to Jesus directly. We need a middleman. That heresy grants an “Apostle” unlimited control over a disciple. His exact words, “Some would teach that since the death of Jesus Christ, all of us have rights to go straight to Him … and no middle man (between you and Jesus) … no, there has to be a middle man…that’s God’s Kingdom government system.” He said “God is not limited by what is written in the Bible.” How does GeorDavie get around 1 Timothy 2:5? It says, “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus …” The answer is on his website: “God is not limited by what is written in the Bible.” And GeorDavie also believes he is not limited by the Bible. I will not gross you out with the transcripts of his obscene texts to a woman. yellow yellow And that is the definition of a cult. Krick will never renounce him—no matter what—for the exact same reason she won’t let her congregation renounce her. And that is the definition of a cult. Now I will confront some usual arguments against a blog like this. ‘Mario, first and foremost, you are an evangelist, why are you speaking out?’ But, 2 Timothy 4:2-5 says, “Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions**, do the work of an evangelist,** fulfill your ministry.” Evangelists have a long history of publicly correcting error. If preachers are called to rebuke falsehood and evangelize, then it follows that evangelists are called to evangelize and rebuke falsehood. blue blue Evangelists have a long history of publicly correcting error.
