Yes, Comedy Wednesday is being posted early. It must be. When I have to get up early, I require a lot of downtime because it takes hours (hours I tell ya!) for my brain to shutdown. I'm not a fan. Why rise early? Because the twins have their college orientation. College. Me, taking them to the college campus. Me. The girl who still feels like she's too young to have college-attending kids. The girl who has the sense of humor of a middle schooler. The girl who would rather wear PJs all day than get dressed to leave the house. Going with them to the orientation is... Exciting, but still boring. Not the good kind of boring. The, "Why do I have to behave like the adult who knows what they're doing again?" kind of boring. Of course, it's all good. I'm happy (truly) to be stepping into this kind of season. But, I'm also grieving. It's not easy watching your babies fledge after all. I'll lament for a bit. Then laugh. So please post the memes to help me smile in between the tears. God bless you. And me. And those college-bound twins. God bless us all.

-2- Even if… God omniscient. Even if… God is omnipresent. Even if… God is in omnipotent. We cannot even if out of His love (Romans 8:38-39). God has chosen this time and us as witnesses, to do something wondrous –so that His glory will be known. Yes, He has provided good leaders. But more importantly, God gave us the ultimate means to fight evil: prayer. We must utilize it consistently and sincerely. I know you love Him. One of the best ways we can show Him our love is to trust Him. It’s not about, “trust the plan;” it’s about trusting His Word. Father God – Tender the hearts that are obstinate. Gentle the tongues that want to disparage. Soften the edges and smooth the callous. Invigorate the prayers of Your children. Overflow us with blessings and hope so that we may minister to others. Grant us Your wisdom, give us Your peace, and gift us Your joy. Thank You for caring about every detail of our lives. We love and trust You. In the name of Jesus this is prayed. Amen.

PART FOUR -1- Destroying a traitorous apparatus calls for both a sledgehammer and a scalpel. How many of us have the wisdom to pick the correct instrument and know when to apply it? How many of us have the fortitude and patience to keep using it? Evil is insidious and hidden. Who knows exactly where it lurks? God does (Psalm 147:5). It goes without saying that dismantling a dark plan that stretches back to Eden cannot be done without God’s guidance. What He sees, what He knows is beyond our awareness. Part two brought up a good point in the chat: Trump does not get a blank check. He does not. So it’s important to note that Trump’s policy is to work within the framework of the Constitution and the law. This alone puts him head and shoulders above previous Presidents. He faces a relentless assault from wayward prosecutors and a dishonest media. This is just what the public witnesses. Can you even imagine the threats that take place behind the scenes? Not just for his safety, but for all Americans? I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that he has been operating –and will continue to operate— for the good of us. How this is accomplished makes some folks uneasy. Understood. I’m not trying to change those minds as there is no need to do so. I am writing to encourage those who are losing hope, to not lose hope.
