‎Upholding Human Dignity at the World’s Edges ‎ ‎Our MUN simulation on the "Legitimacy of Strict Border Enforcement Measures in Response to the Global Refugee Crisis" brought a high level focus to one of the most complex humanitarian challenges of our time. Organized in collaboration with UNICEF U-Report, this session empowered delegates to navigate the delicate tension between national sovereignty and the fundamental rights of displaced persons. ‎ ‎ ‎ Throughout the intense Saturday session for Hawassa University students, participants stepped into the roles of global policymakers to scrutinize the ethics of modern border security.
