Thank you everyone for a great day 1 at Awoostria!!! I love the new location and am really happy seeing old faces and new ones. I've been drowning in personal life stuff, heat waves, and work, so this is really refreshing to chat with folks and hear such lovely things about my art. Thank you!! I flew in solo, so I only have 2 suitcases worth of goods with me, and you already cleared out a chunk of it today. If anything caught your eye, don't wait too long! Stop by again tomorrow!

Calling them done. Pretty happy with how they came out, but I do need to practice more with my watercolors. The rabbit and the skeletal fox is a metaphor for how it felt being locked inside for weeks with all the windows shuttered and taped over with reflective foil trying to keep the heat out. The boar is just a boar. I was able to visit a mushroom museum recently that was realy enjoyable, and helped me understand how mushrooms 'work' and how to think more attentively when drawing them. So what's here is still pretty simple but more intentional than the "round thing on stick" I usually draw.
