  • Process ♻️ The diagram shows different steps involved in the production of chocolate. Overall, there are four main stages in this linear process, starting with the preparation of cocoa beans, followed by drying, and lastly the actual production of liquid chocolate from crushed beans. Also, this process is a complex one, which requires much time and equipment to complete. The process begins when ripe red pods are collected from cacaos trees, which usually grow in South America, Africa, and Indonesia. Once harvested, white cacao beans are extracted from pods, after which they are fermented. After this, fermented beans are exposed to the sun and spread around so that they can be dried. Having been dried, the beans are put in large sacks, which are then taken to a factory by train or lorry. In this factory, dried beans are roasted at 350 Celsius, before being crushed, where their outer shells are removed. Finally, the inner product is pressed, resulting in liquid chocolate. 160 words.

  • Compare chart 📊 The bar chart compares four different countries in terms of coffee and tea import in 2007. Units are measured in tons. Overall, the UK and the USA imported significantly more tea than coffee, whereas the reverse was true for Canada and Germany. Of particular note is the UK – a country showing the most pronounced gap between imports of the two products, closely followed by the USA. Focusing firstly on countries with notable disparity, as much as 160,000 tons of tea was imported by the UK in 2007, which was in stark contrast to coffee import (a mere 20,000 tons), exhibiting the most noticeable difference. Following some way behind came the USA, where the respective figures for tea and coffee import amounted to 120,000 and three times less (40,000) – highlighting another significant discrepancy. In Canada and Germany, however, these two products were imported in considerably less quantities. Canada, unlike the UK and the USA, imported four times more coffee than tea, with respective figures of 80,000 tons and 20,00 tons. At the other end of the scale, Germany imported around 50,000 tons of coffee, slightly higher than that of tea (40,000), which marked the narrowest gap of all countries polled. • The bar chart compares how many people worked in five different job sectors in a particular Australian region in the years 2001 and 2008. Overall, accounting and farming fell out of favor over the period, whereas the number of employees in sales, computing, and nursing increased at varying rates. Of particular note is sales, which stood out as the largest employer in both years, while the remaining was true for farming. Of the five given job sectors, as many as 160,000 people were working in sales in 2001 – the highest figure in that year. This number then rose noticeably such that it reached a peak of about 165,000 in 2008, far surpassing all other sectors. Following a similar trend, though to a significantly lower level, the number of employees in computing grew dramatically from 60,000 to 80,000, making this sector the second largest employer. This was followed by nursing, which saw a marginal rise in its figure, going from just below 60,000 to nearly 62,000 between 2001 and 2008. Accounting and farming, however, bucked the foregoing trend. The former started the period with around 60,000 workers and, after a moderate decline by 2008, finished at 60,000. At the other end of the scale, farming attracted 20,000 workers in 2008 – down from initial 30,000 in 2001, highlighting a pronounced gap with the remaining job sectors. #task1report 224 words 🔥

  • The bar chart compares four countries in terms of life expectancy in 2008, while the table shows the percentage change from 1953 t0 2008 in the same countries. Overall, while life expectancy varied significantly across the polled countries in 2008, it became longer over the 56-year period. Notably, Japan — the leading country in terms of how ling people lived — showed the smallest growth, yet the reverse was true for Indonesia. Of all the four countries given, Japan had the longest life expectancy — around 82 years. Following some way behind came Korea and the USA, at nearly 79 and 76 years, respectively. Rounding out the list was Indonesia, a country where people lived significantly shorter compered to the other polled countries, with the figure amounting to 70 years. As regards the percentage change, it increased in all countries, albeit to varying rates. Interestingly enough, Japan and the United States experienced the least pronounced rises, with respective figures of 3.5% and 3%. Indonesia, however, despite populating people with the shortest life span, saw the most notable rise, as the figure grew by 5.7% by 2008, closely followed by Korea (climbing by 12.5%). #task1report 193 words

  • Some people argue that parents of children who break the law should be punished in some way, because they are responsible for their children’s actions. To what extent do you agree or disagree? As we approach a world of crime, people have different views as to whether parents should be held accountable for the crimes committed by their children. While there are clear reasons why this proposal can be justified, I firmly believe that punishing parents is not always a fair or effective solution, necessitating a more a balanced approach. Proponents of parental punishment cite various reasons to support their stance, pointing out that children's behavior is largely shaped by their upbringing. If parents fail to provide proper guidance, discipline, and supervision, this negligence may lead to criminal tendencies. The more children are exposed to domestic violence, lack of moral education, and unchecked freedom, the more they are likely to to turn to deviant behavior. Given these circumstances, it seems logical for governments to lay the blame on parents, which can serve as a powerful deterrent, encouraging them to take greater responsibility for their children's conduct. In a world where many - if not most children - fall victim to external forces like peer pressure, this practice for parents neglecting their children's actions can make a bid difference in addressing the root causes of juvenile crime. As beneficial as this approach may seem, in my opinion, it can lead to unfavorable consequences. No matter how strict and attentive they are, even the most responsible parents cannot always control external influences, including peer pressure, social media, and poverty - factors that may serve a a catalyst towards criminal activities. In such cases, punishing parents would be practically unjust, as it ignores the individuality and autonomy of children, particularly teenagers who can make their decisions independently. This can be especially detrimental for parents with children who find it difficult to manage their emotions properly, leaving almost no control over. In conclusion, although there are reasonable arguments for punishing parents of children who break the law, I believe this method is too simplistic and unfair in many situations. Only by implementing a more constructive approach with shared accountability can governments contribute to guiding children away from criminal behavior. Band 9.0 ✏️ #task2essay 318 words 📝

  • The line graph compares the amount of pulp, timber, and paper produced in an unspecified European country between 1980 and 2000, at 10-year intervals. Overall, the production of all forest industry products increased, albeit to varying degrees. Of particular note is paper, which experienced the most dramatic change during the period, eventually becoming the dominant product by 2000. In 1980, around 4.2 mt of timber was produced in this country, which then rose noticeably, peaking at 10 mt in 1985. However, this figure declined gradually, with significant fluctuations, finishing at around 6.5 mt in 2000. Starting slightly lower at 4 mt, the amount of paper manufactured grew sharply, reaching an all-time peak of nearly 11 mt in 2000, making it the most produced forestry product, surpassing both timber and pulp. Following a similar upward trend, though at a slower pace, pulp production began at about 5 mt—the highest among the three in 1980—and increased steadily to about 9 mt by the end of the period, securing the second position. #task1report

  • Throughout history, people have dreamed of living in a perfect society but nobody has agreed on what an ideal society would look like. What do you think is the most important element needed to make a society perfect? How can the ideal society be achieved? Throughout history, humanity has long aspired to live in a flawless society, yet opinions differ on what such a community should entail. While some emphasize wealth or technological advancement, I firmly believe that justice is the most essential element for building a perfect society, with equal opportunities, especially in education, taking precedence. One of the most crucial elements for creating a perfect society is justice, because fairness acts as the cornerstone of social harmony. When citizens are treated equally under the law, they develop trust in the legal system, which in turn reduces corruption and abuse of power. Given these circumstances, people feel that opportunities are distributed fairly, encouraging them to work hard and contribute to the progress of their community. This collective effort can not only strengthen social cohesion but also pave the way for a more prosperous and peaceful society. The ideal society, though, can be achieved through the provision of quality education, as this equips individuals with knowledge and moral values. Once people are educated, they become more aware of their rights and responsibilities, thus reducing crime and discrimination. Consequently, citizens are more likely to engage in productive activities, such as innovation and entrepreneurship, rather than harmful behaviors. This ultimately fosters economic growth and social stability, bringing the community closer to an ideal model of society. In conclusion, although visions of a perfect society may vary, justice remains the cornerstone that ensures fairness and social harmony. By guaranteeing equal access to education and opportunities, societies can reduce inequality, motivate citizens to contribute positively, and ultimately move closer to an ideal community marked by peace and prosperity. #task2essay 270 words.

  • Band 8.0 📊 The pie charts compare how much water was used for agricultural products and the proportion of money came from these products in the year 2004 in Australia. Overall, there was no clear correlation between the share of water used for seven agricultural products and the percentage of income received from them, as livestock emerged as the primary water consumer, whereas the highest share of income came from fruit. Focusing on water consumers first, livestock topped the list, with a staggering 36% of water consumption, followed in distance by diary and cotton at 19% and 15%, respectively. Following some way behind, though to a smaller degree, came fruit and sugar – agricultural products that consumed 11% and 10% of the total water. Lower still, vegetables and rice were not that water-intensive, with respective figures amounting to 5% and 4%. A completely different picture can be observed in terms of income came from these products. In 2004, fruits – one of the least water-consuming products – generated the highest revenue, at a whopping 44%, with dairy trailing not too far behind at 24%. Cotton came next, which contributed to 13% of the total income. Livestock, the leading water consumer, however, brought only a small percentage of income at 6%, slightly lower than sugar (7%). At the other end of the scale, vegetables (5%) and rice (just 1%) were responsible for the least proportion of income generated. My version: 231 words. #task1report 🔥

  • The extent to which wild animals should be protected has long been a controversial issue. While some argue that conservation efforts ought to be directed only towards a limited number of species, I firmly believe that all wild animals deserve protection, since the survival of one species inevitably influences the stability of others, much like a domino effect. On the one hand, there are practical arguments for protecting only a small number of species. Since resources such as government funding and scientific expertise are limited, prioritizing prioritizing endangered or economically valuable species seems logical. For example, devoting efforts to save elephants or tigers ensures not only the survival of these iconic animals but also attracts tourism, which subsequently generates revenue for local economies. That revenue can then be reinvested in wider environmental projects, creating a positive cycle of conservation benefits. From this perspective, focusing on a select group of animals may appear more efficient and sustainable. On the other hand, protecting all species creates a far stronger and longer-lasting chain reaction. Each species, no matter how insignificant it appears, plays a vital role in maintaining ecological balance. If one disappears, predators lose their prey, herbivores may grow uncontrollably, and plants may be overconsumed, ultimately destabilizing entire ecosystems. Once ecosystems collapse, humans inevitably face the consequences in the form of food shortages, polluted air, and climate instability. In other words, the extinction of even a single species can trigger a sequence of environmental crises that eventually reach human societies. Therefore, safeguarding all wild animals is not merely an ethical duty but also a practical necessity for human survival. In my opinion, the domino effect clearly demonstrates why conservation should not be selective. Although prioritization may be unavoidable in the short term, long-term strategies must focus on protecting biodiversity as a whole. Measures such as habitat preservation, stricter anti-poaching laws, and international cooperation can simultaneously secure the survival of iconic species and less visible creatures. By adopting this comprehensive approach, the protection of one species will naturally lead to the protection of countless others. In conclusion, while some people believe that conservation should be limited to a few species, I am convinced that all wild animals must be safeguarded. The loss of even a single species may set off a destructive chain reaction that ultimately threatens both ecosystems and humanity itself. #task2essay With the help of Chat GPT*

  • The graph below provides information on the number of students from the US, UK and Australia who studied in other countries between 2002 and 2007. The line graph compares the number of students from three different countries studying abroad from 2002 to 2007. Overall, the number of students studying in other countries from the USA and Australia remained more or less unchanged over the period, with the former registering the highest share, while the figure for the UK saw a downward trend. In 2002, 50,000 students from the USA were studying abroad —ahead of other countries to a huge margin. This number then dropped gradually over the next two years to hit a low of around 46,000 in 2004 before bouncing back to its initial level by the end of the period. Adhering to a similar trend, the number of students from Australia started at 10,000 and, after dipping slightly, recovered by 2005, levelling off afterwards. The UK, however, bucked the foregoing trend in that the number of students from this country began at 30,000, kept stable at this level for a year, and then decreased noticeably by 2007, reaching 20,000 and maintaining its second spot. Chat GPT⬇️ "The line graph compares the number of students from three different countries studying abroad from 2002 to 2007. • The graph below shows people's level of satisfaction with the health care system in 4 countries between 1991 and 2007. The line graph compares the proportion of people who were satisfied with the healthcare system in four countries from 1991 to 2007, at 7-year intervals. Overall, two subsets of data can be identified: countries which saw noticeable changes in the share of people satisfied with the healthcare system and those which remained more or less unchanged. Of particular note is Canada - a country where by far the highest percentage of people reported satisfaction over the period, while the reverse was true for the USA. Focusing on countries with notable changes, in 1991, almost a half of the population in Netherlands were satisfied with the healthcare system — a figure that grew marginally over the next seven years and reached a peak of around 52% in 1998. This peak, however was short-lived, as the proportion declined noticeably by the end of the period to finish at just above 40%, leaving it with the highest satisfaction rate among the four countries. Starting at an all-time high of roughly 60% in 1991, the share of Canadian people satisfied with the healthcare system saw the most pronounced fall by 1998 to a low of about 20%. Despite this decline, this figure bounced back and rose gradually over the remaining years, reaching 30% and attaining the second spot. The USA, in contrast, bucked the trend in that its figure rose consistently in the first seven years from 20% to around 28%, levelling off afterwards. In the meantime, the percentage of satisfied people with this service in the UK kept almost stable over the entire period at approximately 28%. #task1report

  • As of late, it has become increasingly common for married couples to have their first child when they get older, particularly in Western communities. While this trend is mainly driven by a blend of financial and practical factors, I firmly believe that it does more good than harm, especially when viewed through the lens of professional growth. Why are more and more people delaying parenthood? From a practical perspective, the rising living costs, combined with high taxes and inflation, has cultivated an environment where many – if not most – people find it increasingly difficult to meet their basic needs like food, housing, and utilities, let alone enjoy a comfortable lifestyle. Given these financial constraints, it comes as no surprise that many couples raise questions as to whether they can cover expenses related to childcare, such as nutritious food, healthcare, education, and entertainment, making parenthood significantly less favorable. In a world where many individuals, in particular married ones, struggle with stagnant wages and scarce job opportunities due to rapid technological developments, having a child or two seems to wreak havoc on their financial stability and the overall quality of life. In my opinion, however, the drawbacks of delayed parenthood pale in significance when compared to its benefits. On a professional level, when coupled decide to have their first child in their thirties or forties, they normally have the chance to dedicate more time and energy to their career aspirations, allowing them to work long hours, tolerate heavy workloads, and catch up with tight deadlines. This not only empowers them to gain a competitive edge in highly competitive job market, but also helps move up the career ladder, thus increasing the chances of earning potential and promotions at the workplace. At a time when financial problems have spiked through the roof mainly because of ever-escalating living costs, prioritizing career advancement over early marriage can make a big difference in the creation and formation of functional and stable families with children later in life. In conclusion, the reasons behind delayed parenthood vary, but financial and practical considerations play a crucial role. As for the impact of this situation, it is primarily positive, as people place higher priority on professional progression over parenthood, possibly creating an enriching family environment for both parents and potential children. #task2essay 380 words. @abrorjon_posts 📝
