From my observation, identities for SPM level usually have 1 side being more complex than the other. So yes, keep 1 side (less complex one) unaltered. Beyond SPM tho, when both sides appear to be equal in complexity we often execute the "meet in the middle" strategy, working from both sides

KSSM math: We've removed 3D & plane geometry from the syllabus, didn't you get the memo? KSSM add math: Huh? When?! KSSM math: And we've moved trig ratios of non-acute angles to F5 KSSM add math: Really? But F4 kids require that knowledge to learn SOT 😞

Peringatan mesra untuk kita semua sebelum paper SPM Trial / SPM Sebenar bermula! Masa nak pergi sekolah, tolong utamakan keselamatan atas jalan raya. Pakai tali pinggang keledar atau kancing topi keledar kemas-kemas. Kalau ibu bapa yang memandu, ingatkan depa secara lembut untuk tak guna telefon bimbit masa tengah bawa kereta. Paling penting, jangan rushing atau bawa laju sangat—peperiksaan memang penting, tapi nyawa kita jauh lebih berharga. Layan mak ayah dengan baik, minta restu depa, dan buat yang terbaik untuk banggakan depa. Drive dan ride elok-elok guys, semoga berjaya!
