PSIR -resources and strategy.
Congratulations on clearing the first hurdle : Prelims. Now you need to consolidate your syllabus, write answers, analyse them and revise as much as possible. Make target wise schedule. Try to do at least 3 revisions. Please ask your PSIR related doubts here.
All the best very everyone :) Take care, remain calm, do your best.
This is something I found while browsing. In the coming days, you would want to stop, you will feel the heat of this exam, you will worry, you will fall, you might even get easy questions wrong. What you can all do is ACT. Act in a manner that brings positivity and help you become better and not worse. This exam is something which stands out to be one of the most important things in our life. And why shouldn't it be, Right? We study day and night, wanting to do and give something back to the society, to change something. But, at the same time, it is very important to remember that we can act and do things which are under our control. So, let us act upon controllable. Revise the syllabus, study the previous year questions, know which subjects are to be answered first, decide the temperament and technique for prelims and be confident. Remember you have done and given a lot. Now it's time to act. :)
Hey all!! Prelims being just about a month now. Remain CONFIDENT. Keep PRACTICING questions on daily basis. REVISE whatever you have done till now. My schedule one month before Prelims used to revolve around solving one GS and CSAT paper daily, preferably PYQs. This helped me gain confidence and at the same time solve paper within time. You can keep slot in the evening for revision. Stay strong.
Column 7 Might be of some help. Don't try to fill everything just for the sake of filling.
You can't just sit there and wait for life to come to you, you have to go and get it. Wake up go and achieve what you want in life. Things won't come to you by themselves. You would have to earn them. Good Morning Dear Readers ✨
New year, New goals, New achievements and New people ❤️ Wishing you all a very happy and prosperous year ahead. Stay blessed 😊
Throughout my preparation and even now, the only thing that my mother used to tell me again and again is to BELIEVE. It really works. :)
Hello everyone I hope everything is going well. Any thoughts or comments you wish to share? :) Few things from my side 1. For those preparing for Prelims 2025- - Try to complete your Mains portion that you have planned by mid-January. 2. For those giving Interview 2024 - Read your DAF and find out the keywords - Read 2 newspapers, preferably one local newspaper. - Know yourself and be confident. 3. For others- Kindly follow the pinned messages for basic doubts which I have mostly answered earlier.

PERSONALITY TEST aka INTERVIEW Mains results were out on 8th December. At this point, I had no idea on when my interview is scheduled. What I did? 1. Started reading 2 newspapers daily- Indian Express for national & international and Hindustan Times for local 2. Started filling DAF- making notes on DAF 3. Started reading more on Hobbies, background. 4. Saw topper videos When Phase 1 interview schedule was out. I began giving mocks. My interview was scheduled on 15 January. Due to paucity of time, I gave - panel mocks at Forum IAS, Vajiram & Ravi, Shubhra Ranjan, Vajirao and Reddy; one-to-one at KSG with Khan Sir and Insights IAS. Learnings? 1. CONFIDENCE is the key. No one is checking your knowledge domain. Just try to have a general idea on what's going on. 2. Know yourself. Know your strengths and weakness. Figure how you handle things when in difficulty. 3. Newspaper is your best friend. Maximise the effort in reading newspaper. Most of the stuff come from here only. 4. Interview transcripts to get hold on different areas. Interview Board- Suman Sharma Ma'am Marks- 187 Will be sharing my experience of actual process once the results are out.
State PCS vs UPSC I have very little experience on State PCS. If you are taking State PCS as Plan B, ensure that you satisfy Plan A first. For time management you can devote 30% to State pcs and rest to UPSC. At the end, you need to devise a strategy as per your capabilities. CSAT strategy Shared on channel. Just 2 things- PYQs are most important. Practice as much as you can. PSIR related doubts- sources, note making, tests. Everything on channel. Refer to sessions taken earlier. Answer writing- Cannot recall while writing- issue of revision [do more revision, see model answers] Perfect/Ideal answer- nothing as such applicable in preparation. What to write and what not ? - depends how well you understand the demand of question. Just write and use model answers to improve upon. Preferably write more PYQs Newspaper reading Try to read whole newspaper except political ones . Editorials to have full idea of issues going on. Not more than 40-45 mins per day for newspaper. Selecting optional 3 things- interest, understanding, notes. Try to see PYQs to develop comprehensive understanding.
May the festival of lights brighten your life with success and happiness. शुभ दीपावली 🪔 🪔
HI!! Hope you all are doing extremely well in your preparation stage. The people who gave mains this year must be waiting eagerly for the mains results. My general advice would be to revisit your mains papers again - wherever you feel that you could have done better, write them down and analyse. Keep reading the newspaper at all cost. Newspaper is the thing that will surely help you in Interview. For others, it's high time to write some sectional tests. Make sure you are done with note making of your GS and optional papers. If possible do write 1/2 essays and get them checked with your peers. Enjoy your preparation. ❤️
ALL THE BEST EVERYONE. Be confident and DO WELL ❤️
All those giving mains 1) Do check your mains centre once 2) Stay calm and revise your short notes 3) Try to write 1-2 answers or 1 essay to maintain the speed and thought process Everything is gonna be great. Have confidence and GIVE YOUR BEST.
