Just got an offer to invest in Travis Kalanick’s new company Atoms alongside A16Z and other big investors. He is the founder of Uber. I’m not a professional investor and I very rarely fk around with angel investments but this seems like it may be bigger than Uber. Even though the current valuation is already huge. Should I do it or not?

What an era we live in. Lindy just pivoted to compete directly with viktor and today I witnessed one agent nudging another agent in my work grouchat on slack. They’re both still pretty weak and can’t handle computer browsing tasks. Teaching agents how to browse a computer is the biggest priority for frontier labs rn. Some of them are even outsourcing that work to Bolder currently. Who can guess what % of websites and apps have an API? It’s much smaller than you think.

Everyone posts only about their wins. Let me post a huge fuckup I made this year. Earlier this year I had an opportunity to buy bolder dot com for less than $30K Nobody was bidding for it since it's been private for 30 years and I convinced the owner to sell. After long negotiations I passed. He put it on auction and sold. Now that domain is being resold for $975k The most ironic part is that we named our company Bolder to take bolder actions and we did not live up to our own name here and that's why we lost almost a million dollars.

Earlier this year my co-founder Tulkin Erkin and I went to Alex Hormozi’s scaling workshop. I’ve been a fan of hormozi for 4 years. Didn’t get to see him in person unfortunately (it costs 6 figures to meet him now) The workshop is useful. They pack as much value as they can to 2 days but there’s a lot of upsell. It felt a little bit like attending a webinar that we paid $10k for. Still love and respect everything that the Acquisition.com but I think it turned into an info business from a PE that it once used to position itself as.

Linkedin is so cringe that when I posted a comedy parody showing a cringe motivational speech, people thought it was real and starting liking and commenting the post for real instead of laughing 🤦‍♂️

Business idea: Someone should build a social media blocker app (very profitable category btw) where to get on the app you need to convince an AI why you need it and write how long you need it for. It makes entering social media a concisions decision rather than a mindless habit.

Talking to poke and got an idea. Someone should build an agent that finds cheapest flights and books them for you. Yes all agents and even ChatGPT can technically do that. But the catch here is that you give this agent its own computer and it uses incognito mode to get cheaper options. It’s a fact that when you’re booking from an expensive zip code you get higher. And there are other tricks like that When I was in college this app called hopper became super popular among students cuz it would if now is the best time to book or if you should wait and ppl would buy with confidence. This agent if it actually uses all possible ways to find the cheapest flights can also win the trust of ppl who look for cheapest options and eventually monetize through referral fees from airlines. Later you can add upsells like car service, hotels etc

I just opened a trump account for my 1 month old daughter and she received $1k from the government that is automatically invested in S&P 500 And what I love about the Trump Accounts App (made by Robinhood) is that it has a QR code that you can use to give others to gift stocks to your kid with 3 clicks. We’re gonna be adding this QR code to her bday celebration events so guests can gift her stocks instead of toys. Cuz all kids have a ton of toys and they don’t last but these stocks will grow and she can actually use it for her future. Imagine all the money that ppl spent on giving you gifts was now in S&P stock. You would’ve been much more grateful than having had those short lived toys as an adult

Higgsfield AI is absolutely crushing it and is only valued at $1.3B while it seems large look at Canva which is valued at $42B I am convinced Higgsfield will beat Canva in both their direct market and valuation because: 1. They are AI first from the start 2. Moving much faster 3. Video is the language of the internet If anyone is selling their Higgsfield shares I will buy!
