Connecting Science and Society KNOWLEDGE HAS THE GREATEST VALUE WHEN IT IS SHARED Scientists, institutions, journalists, civil society organizations and local communities often approach the same issue from different perspectives. Meaningful progress becomes possible when these perspectives are brought into dialogue. ALLATRA creates spaces for this exchange through: • conferences and expert discussions; • research reports and public presentations; • educational projects and media content; • cooperation with institutions and communities. Our goal is to help scientific knowledge move beyond professional boundaries and become part of a wider, informed public conversation. To learn more, visit allatra.org
Our Climate-Related Position A SCIENCE-BASED APPROACH TO CLIMATE RISKS ALLATRA recognizes the scientific consensus on anthropogenic climate change, including the contribution of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases to present-day global warming. Our research also examines additional areas that may influence environmental and societal resilience: • geodynamic processes; • natural-disaster risks; • pollution by microplastics and nanoplastics; • ecosystem and human-health impacts. An interdisciplinary approach helps explore different factors connected to global risks and environmental changes. To learn more, visit allatra.org
NANOPLASTICS. A THREAT TO LIFE A RESEARCH-BASED DOCUMENTARY ON MICRO- AND NANOPLASTICS Nanoplastics: A Threat to Life, presented by the ALLATRA Global Research Center, brings together scientific research on the potential impacts of micro- and nanoplastics on human health, ecosystems, and the environment. The documentary explores: • what nanoplastics are and how they form; • how micro- and nanoplastics are distributed throughout the environment; • their potential interactions with biological systems; • possible impacts on human health and ecosystems; • the need for further scientific research and international cooperation. The film presents scientific information in an accessible, popular science format and features experts from different fields. To learn more, visit allatra.org/nanoplastics-threat-to-life
RESEARCH ON MICROPLASTICS AND NANOPLASTICS UNDERSTANDING ENVIRONMENTAL AND HEALTH RISKS Microplastics and nanoplastics are areas of scientific research related to human health, ecosystems, and the environment. Their small size, distribution, and interactions with biological and environmental systems make them an important subject of scientific study. The ALLATRA Global Research Center has published the analytical report “Nanoplastics: A Systematic Risk Analysis for Human Health, Ecosystems, and the Environment,” presenting a systematic analysis of potential risks associated with nanoplastics. ALLATRA’s work in this area includes: • analytical research and risk assessment; • scientific communication and public education; • expert discussions and institutional communication; • documentaries, lectures, and educational events. Through research and communication, ALLATRA shares information about microplastic and nanoplastic-related challenges to raise awareness and help build a safer, more sustainable future. Serhii Pozniak on Veteran Businesses in Ukraine: How Defenders Will Rebuild the Economy | ALLATRA 🔴 https://youtu.be/mCDtPbK39R4?si=uKRbG2Zg8l3qw68L In this interview, Serhii Pozniak — a veteran, financier, head of the Association of Entrepreneurs and Veterans of Ukraine, and founder of FinStream and Cronvest projects — shares his vision of the role of veterans in Ukraine's post-war recovery and the development of a modern veteran economy. Combining his experience in military service, entrepreneurship, and the financial sector, Serhii Pozniak actively works to create opportunities for integrating veterans into the business environment, develop veteran entrepreneurship, and engage international partners in Ukraine's economic recovery. The conversation covers the prospects of cooperation between Ukrainian veteran organizations and US businesses, training opportunities for Ukrainian veterans in the United States, as well as the practical application of American experience in supporting veteran entrepreneurship within the Ukrainian context. The interview was recorded in Washington, D.C., near the Taras Shevchenko monument — a symbol of the Ukrainian people's fight for freedom and independence. The interview was prepared by ALLATRA, an international non-profit organization dedicated to public awareness, research, and education in the field of climate and geodynamic risks, environmental issues (including microplastics and nanoplastics), as well as the protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms.

🌍 ALLATRA — Partner of the World Meeting on Dialogue, Speech, and Socio-Humanitarian Communication Among Peoples in Milan From July 29 to 31, 2026, the World Meeting on Dialogue, Speech, and Socio-Humanitarian Communication Among Peoples is taking place at MIND – Milano Innovation District as part of the Milano Latin Festival. The event is dedicated to the role of communication, dialogue, and cooperation in building a peaceful and sustainable future. 📶 The initiators and organizers of the World Meeting are Hector Villanueva — Director of the Salone delle Nazioni Milano Latin Festival, Vice President of the Federazione Eurandina, and creator of initiatives aimed at fostering cultural interaction and integration among peoples — and Biagio Maimone — journalist, writer, and specialist in institutional communication, who has devoted his work to promoting ethical communication, interreligious dialogue, and a culture of peace. The event brings together representatives of institutions, the diplomatic community, science, religious organizations, journalism, and civil society to discuss the most pressing issues of our time: the culture of peace, human rights, intercultural and interreligious dialogue, the responsibility of the mass media, and new challenges related to the development of technology and artificial intelligence. ➡️ALLATRA is a partner of this international event. One of the forum's speakers was Nabil Bougarech, a representative of the ALLATRA International Public Movement's Global Research Center. In his speech, he noted that today's global challenges cannot be solved without open dialogue between science, government institutions, and civil society. The World Meeting in Milan has become an important stage in preparing for a large-scale international forum that will take place in October at the Palazzo Reale and will bring together even more representatives of the international community to discuss the future of communication as a tool for peace, cooperation, and sustainable development. #ALLATRA #WorldMeeting #Milano #Dialogue #Communication #Peace #Fraternity #Cooperation #Future
