IMPORTANT PRACTICAL NOTICE The various NOUN Study Centres have released their practical timetables. Each centre has its own scheduled dates for the different practical courses. Students are advised to check their study centre’s timetable carefully and confirm the exact date and time for each practical course they registered for. 🧪 *PRACTICAL REQUIREMENTS* Students attending practicals are expected to come along with the following: 1️⃣Lab coat – properly worn where required. 2️⃣NOUN ID card – for identification and verification. 3️⃣Laptop – your laptop is required for the practical.( *Optional)* 4️⃣Cover shoes – ensure you wear appropriate covered footwear. 5️⃣Logbook – bring your practical logbook ⚠️ IMPORTANT Do not wait until the practical day before checking your timetable. Confirm your date early and prepare all the required items in advance. Failure to come with the necessary requirements may affect your participation in the practical. 🚨 *TMA STARTS IN 5 DAYS! 😱🫣* *Tutor-Marked Assignments (TMAs)* are an important part of NOUN’s continuous assessment. For registered courses, there are *three TMAs — TMA 1, TMA 2 and TMA 3* — with each carrying *10 marks*, making a total of *30 marks*. These marks are added to your examination score. 📌 *KEY THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT NOUN TMAs:* 🔹 *Availability:* TMAs are released in phases according to the academic calendar — TMA 1, followed by TMA 2 and TMA 3. 🔹 *Format:* Most TMAs consist of multiple-choice/objective questions. Learning is primarily conducted online. *How Does NOUN Teach Its Students?* NOUN provides online lectures known as facilitation. These sessions are held at scheduled times via Zoom, allowing students to interact with lecturers.
