The Infinite Now functions as both performance space and social environment. A 30-hour continuous programme runs from Saturday through Sunday night. Beds, hammocks and soft places to lie and listen will be provided throughout the space for 30-hour ticket holders. Sleeping is part of the experience. The programme moves through dusk, night, dawn, day, dusk and night again. Audiences are encouraged to rest, eat, listen, watch, withdraw, talk and pay attention. 30-hour passes permit re-entry throughout the duration of the event. 30-hour overnight passes, seperate tickets for the Sunday concert program as well as tickets to the individual Prelude events are available now via Resident Advisor. https://ra.co/events/2373940

The Infinite Now is the first formal collaboration between Berlin Atonal and Unsound: a singular 30-hour continuous musical program at Kraftwerk Berlin preceded by three stand-alone Prelude Concerts in the week before. The thirty-hour continuous program begins on Saturday 16 May and runs without interruption until Sunday 17 May, with over 20 participating artists: Marginal Consort, Romeo Castellucci with Scott Gibbons, Keiji Haino, Terrence Dixon, Brìghde Chaimbeul, Actress, Joanne Robertson, 2K88, Lauren Duffus, Rainy Miller & Bianca Scout, Joy Guidry, Marta Salogni, Aleksandra Słyż & Teoniki Rożynek, Paul Jebanasam, 7038634357, Shane Parish, Raphael Rogiński. Further artists, video works and installations as well as the detailed schedule will follow. The venue will include dedicated areas and facilities for sleeping and rest, food and drink will be available throughout. Participants are free to move between states of focused listening, peripheral awareness, and rest according to their own rhythms. In the lead up to The Infinite Now, Berlin Atonal and Unsound host three stand-alone prelude concerts in the Kraftwerk main space. Prelude 1 sees Oneohtrix Point Never perform the “Tranquilizer” live show with Freeka Tet, with an opening set from Piotr Kurek. Prelude 2 presents Hania Rani's alter-ego Chilling Bambino with an opening set from Torus. Prelude 3 invites Sinfonietta Cracovia to play Gavin Bryars' “The Sinking of the Titanic and Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet”, alongside a new work by Aleksandra Słyż entitled “Pure Voices”.
