وَلَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَـٰفِلًا عَمَّا یَعۡمَلُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَۚ And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror]. [Surah Ibrāhim: 42] Maymūn ibn Mihrān رحمه الله said: “This verse is a consolation for the oppressed and a threat for the oppressor!” [Tafsīr At-Tabarī: 17/28]

Our Imam of the West, a lion, unwavering and brave, a mujahid in the forefronts preaching Haqq when those who preach and practise Haqq are scarce, when falsehood and those who follow it are abundant- a strange time when true believers are like strangers, persecuted for their Deen. When the whole world and their media are hell-bent (quite literally, too) to distort the Haqq, to brainwash the masses against the Muwahhiddeen, and hinder from the Straight Path, Shaykh Ahmad has been a breathe of fresh air, a beacon of light and a symbol of courage for a lot of us. After years of absence of a scholar amidst us (due to the scholars of Haqq being martyred or imprisoned, and the wicked 'scholars' rampant), having him return back to us was one of the greatest gifts from Allah. May Allah laugh upon him, his father, his family and his students, and preserve them all. And subhanallah, ever since his return, he had been dropping gems, each one better than the other! Each lecture as beneficial, inspiring us to do better in all aspects of our lives; from Tawhid to matters of Fiqh— to secure a proper foundation which is Shirk and Kufr resistant, to untangle our nafs from the shackles of desires and vices, to befriend the Quran, to flee to Allah; to level up from Tawbah to Inabah and strive to be among the Awliya of Allah. In his terms loosely, to 'make Allah happy', on a daily basis. His dawah isn't about making a name for himself. His dawah doesn't call the masses to him. Rather it is an emodiment of the verses of Quran and the Sunnah, and directs people to the glorification of Allah, and Allah alone. “Invite (mankind, O Muhammad) to the way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Revelation and the Quran) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.” [Interpreted translation of al-Nahl 16:125] And who is better in speech than he who [says: ‘My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness),’ and then stands firm (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allah’s (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: ‘I am one of the Muslims.’” [Fussilat 41:33 – interpretation of the meaning] #WeStandWithShaykhAhmad

This is the category of Shaykh Ahmad and his father, Shaykh Musa bi-idhnillah. Make Dua for them, their family and their students. This can be easily done in sujud in every prayer. If we too want to be counted among those who strived to revive the Deen in a time when the Deen has yet again become strange, then show your help and support to these lions in their dawah. Stand right behind them in every step of the way, 'hearing and obeying'. And one of the mightiest and most sincerest weapons of support is our supplications for them. #WeStandWithShaykhAhmad

Unfortunately, do to life circumstances we have to take a break from social media. This doesn’t mean we have forgotten about our oppressed brothers and sisters. It pains us that we can’t do more to help, and we are ashamed of our neglect towards the prisoners. We hope many brothers and sisters will contuine the work we have started and do what is within their capacity. May Allah reward everyone for their efforts. Remember the Ummah and the oppressed in your Dua. In sha allah we will be back sooner, rather than later. As salamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barkahtu
