My POV: I see on social media many people blindly advising others not to join university or not to study engineering, medicine, or other fields. I don't think this is a good thing.our country needs professional doctors, engineers, and qualified professionals in most fields.so. If you are passionate about becoming a dr, just go for it. Also the country should give back to these professionals a bit of what they deserve. When it comes to tech fields, which require creativity and are highly evolving, I don't think a degree is a must. In fact, I think uni kills creativity in people. However, the most important thing you can get from university is the people and the environment (at least that is what I got). So, I believe uni can be a place for students who really love their department or for students who still figuring things out. But if you have something in mind you want to achieve , a plan you want to execute or if you don't like the course u are learning, and uni is taking your focus and time, then it may be worth considering alternatives. The above is just my POV . #uni
