Andreozzi, 35, of Hamden, died on May 23, 2023 from a witnessed medical event 👀 😲 MAY 23, 2023 – NEW HAVEN POLICE DEPT INVESTIGATES FATAL TESLA CRASH On May 23, 2023, at approximately 7:50 am, a Tesla traveling at a high rate of speed collided with nine vehicles on Nicoll St. Seven of the vehicles were parked, and two were in motion at the time of the crash. The operator, identified as 35-year-old Christopher Andreozzi, was transported to YNHH, where he died soon thereafter. The New Haven Police Dept's Crash Reconstruction Team responded to the scene to begin their investigation. They spoke with witnesses and obtained video surveillance footage. The investigation will take some time and will include a mechanical inspection of the Tesla.
