  • #SpiritualTreasures: The Unity of God, His attributes, prophethood, lofty morals, the perfection of the inner self, etc., and everything else that man requires have been expounded by Islam so perfectly and lucidly that no lengthy debates are needed in this respect. (Malfuzat – Volume II, p. 7)

  • #DailyHadith: It was narrated from 'Umar, meaning, from his father, his grandfather 'Umar, that he gave a horse in charity at the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), then he saw its owner selling it for a low price. He went to the Prophet (ﷺ) and asked him about that, and he said: “Do not buy what you gave in charity.” (Ibn Majah)

  • #SpiritualTreasures: In these matters [of Divine knowledge], imperfect reason cannot escape human error, let alone lead one to perfect divine cognition. The most that can be achieved through reason is only this much: someone hypothesizes the need— be it true or false—for something internally within his own mind; however, he cannot prove that what he deems necessary actually exists externally as well. (BarĀhĪn-e-aHmadiyya — Part Four, p. 76)

  • #DailyHadith: Abu Hurayrah (ra) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Every joint of a person must perform a charity each day that the sun rises: to judge justly between two people is a charity ..." (Bukhari)

  • #SpiritualTreasures: He who breaks away from this world for His sake, shall find Him. With the deepest sincerity of heart, with a steadfast strength and ardour, become the friends of God, so that He too should become your friend. (Our Teaching, p. 5)

  • #DailyHadith: Narrated Sa`d: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "None plots against the people of Medina but that he will be dissolved (destroyed) like the salt is dissolved in water." (Bukhari)

  • #SpiritualTreasures: The extent of this delay and postponement [of this book] also caused the Sign of Allah’s help and succour in my favour to be manifested. During this long period, many who called me a kafir [disbeliever], a dajjal [deceiver], and a kazzab [liar]; considered me to be outside the pale of Islam; and cursed me by way of mubahalah [prayer duel], passed away from this world, but God kept me alive and helped me to such an extent that—not to talk of liars—there must be very few true and righteous people who received such divine help. This, therefore, is a manifestly clear Sign of God, but only for those who do not shut their eyes and are ready to accept the Signs of God Almighty. (Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya—Part V, p. 9)

  • #DailyHadith: Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: The uttering of (these words):" Hallowed be Allah; all praise is due to Allah, there is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest," is dearer to me than anything over which the sun rises. (Muslim)

  • #SpiritualTreasures: At another place it is said: 'There should be no compulsion in religion.' [The Holy Quran, 2:257]. Meaning that Islam does not try to inculcate anything by compulsion, but sets forth reasons in support of everything. (The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam, p. 185)

  • #DailyHadith: Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When the collector of Sadaq comes to you, he should return well pleased" (Muslim)

  • #SpiritualTreasures: When the Prophet Muhammad would seek forgiveness seventy times in one day—despite being sinless— how great an effort should we exert? Only one who is content with sin does not repent; an individual who considers sin to be evil will ultimately refrain from it. (Malfuzat – Volume I, p. 3)

  • #DailyHadith: It was narrated that: Thawban said: “When the Verse concerning silver and gold was revealed, they said: 'What kind of wealth should we acquire?' Umar said: 'I will tell you about that.' So he rode on his camel and caught up with the Prophet, and I followed him. He said: 'O Messenger of Allah what kind of wealth should we acquire?' He said: 'Let one of you acquire a thankful heart, a tongue that remembers Allah and a believing wife who will help him with regard to the Hereafter.' ” (Sunan Ibn Majah)

  • #SpiritualTreasures: "Be careful lest a few accomplishments delude you to think that you have sufficiently fulfilled your purpose. For God desires a complete transformation in your being and He demands from you a death whereafter He should revive you. Hasten to make peace with one another and forgive your brethren their sins. For he who is not inclined to make peace with his brother is wicked and will be cut off, because he is the cause of dissension. Part with your ego in every way and do away with mutual grievances. Be humble like the guilty, though truth be on your side, so that you may be forgiven. Do not feed your vanity, for those who are bloated cannot enter the gate to which you have been called. " (Noah's Ark, p. 22)

  • #DailyHadith: A man came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! By Allah, I fail to attend the morning congregational prayer because so-and-so prolongs the prayer when he leads us for it." I had never seen the Prophet (ﷺ) more furious in giving advice than he was on that day. He then said, "O people! some of you make others dislike (good deeds). So whoever among you leads the people in prayer, he should shorten it because among them there are the old, the weak and the busy" (Bukhari)

  • #SpiritualTreasures: This verse [Quran, 42:41] shows that the Quran does not teach non-resistance to evil on all occasions, or that mischief makers and wrongdoers should never be punished. Its teaching is that one must consider whether the occasion calls for forgiveness or punishment, and to adopt the course which would be best in the interests both of the offender and the public. (The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam, p. 60)

  • #DailyHadith: Narrated Ibn Abbas (ra) that when the verse (3:160) وَشَاوِرْهُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ was revealed the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Though Allah and His Prophet stand in no need of consulting other people, Allah has made consultation a source of blessing for my ummah. Therefore, any Muslim who adopts path of consultation shall not be deprived of true light and consultation. But he who avoids it shall not escape humiliation" (Shu'b-u-Iman Vol 6)

  • #SpiritualTreasures: One of the many beauties of the Holy Quran, for instance, is that it is a compendium of all religious verities. There is not a single religious verity, relating to truth and wisdom, which is not to be found in the Holy Quran. But can anyone show us another book which possesses this quality? (Three Questions by a Christian and their Answers, p. 35)

  • #DailyHadith: Abu Hurairah (ra) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The world is a prison for the believer and Paradise for the disbeliever." (Tirmidhi)

  • #SpiritualTreasures: The fact of the matter is that the very nature of man possesses the imprint of: اَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ قَالُوْابَلٰ, Allah says, ‘Am I not your Lord?’ They say, ‘Yea, we do bear witness’ (al-A’raf, 7:173). The instinctive nature of man and all the elements of the universe have no relation whatsoever to the concept of Trinity. Even if one observes a droplet of water, it emerges round in shape and does not fall in the form of a triangle. (Malfuzat - Volume I, p. 62)

  • #DailyHadith: Qatada reported: I asked Anas b. Malik: How was the hair of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)? Thereupon he said: His hair was neither very curly nor very straight, and they hung over his shoulders and earlobes. (Muslim)
