Frank Owen Gehry, born in Toronto in 1929, grew up fascinated by art and form. Moving to Los Angeles, he developed a style that broke free from convention transforming everyday materials like steel and plywood into breathtaking works of architecture. His creations, from the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao to the Walt Disney Concert Hall, became cultural icons that revitalized cities and redefined what buildings could be. Gehry’s philosophy was simple yet radical: architecture should be alive, expressive, and human. He blurred the line between sculpture and structure, proving that buildings could be both functional and poetic. Awarded the Pritzker Prize and countless honors, he was celebrated as one of the greatest architects since Frank Lloyd Wright. [REMINDER - ABOUT ENTRANCE EXAM] (Department of Architecture) Regardless of semester GPA, Attaining entrance exam PASS mark is mandatory Only for those who registered on our shared Google form. 👉 Exam Place  @ SBE campus, Lideta_ (Proto Lab) 👉 Exam starts at 9am Don’t forget to bring:   👆Student ID, pen, pencil, sharpener, eraser. Information about entrance exam for the program “Architecture and Design” 👉🏿 For this year (2017 entry), entrance exam will be given only for those who are interested to join the Architecture and Design program. 👉🏿 To attend the entrance exam, registration is mandatory to register via the Google form below or scan the QR code. This will be open only until Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 6:00 PM. https://forms.gle/ofCFLzAq62Y2dg8B6 👉🏿 Entrance exam for Architecture will be given in person on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 9:00 AM at the School of Built Environment  (former EiABC campus). 👉🏿 Cut-off (pass mark) will be decided by the department of architecture based on the allotted intake capacity. 👉🏿 Those who passed the department's requirement will get the maximum point for entrance exam.
