Here's some Friday fun for your class—Reinforce topics in a fun way with a little help from Baamboozle! With this tool, you can make your very own games for your students to play...while they review new concepts taught in class.

It's time for mini-lesson Monday! This week, give the game Noun Mania a try. Instructions: Give students a noun. Have them write the word on a sheet of paper. Say "Go!" and have students extend their list by writing a noun that begins with the last letter of the noun before it. The person with the longest list of nouns at the end of three minutes is the winner. (For example: house, elephant, toe, egg, gerbil, ladder, road, dollar, robot). Be sure to verify all the winner's words are nouns, though!

It's Tech Tuesday! Have you or your students ever used Quizlet? It's a free website (and phone/tablet app) that helps you study just about anything! Create your own flashcards, then study through games, quizzes, and puzzles made using the information you need to learn. What's not to like?

For mini-lesson Monday, try out Quick! Make a Sentence! Divide students into groups of four and get your students' imaginations flowing while they strengthen their writing skills. 🖋

Need a fun mini-activity to energize your students this week? Try Vocabulary Charades! Use a topic you've covered in class to create game cards. A student will choose a card with a word (for example, "lion" or "dance") and act it out. Everyone guesses. Then, you can sit back and let your students have fun! 🎉
