🌱 Student Voices — June Edition is Here! 🌱 This month, we turn the page on childhood and take our first steps into adulthood. Growing up is a strange journey. We leave behind familiar places, people, and versions of ourselves, carrying only the lessons they taught us. In this issue, our writers reflect on change, memory, and the quiet process of becoming. ✨ Spotlight: Zokirjonova Gulruh A heartfelt reflection on saying goodbye to university life and the lessons that remain long after graduation. 👽 Oops, Aliens by Stasya Shikina 🏠 Places We Outgrow by Stasya Shikina 🎂 Happy Birthday, Mom by Stasya Shikina 🥛 Milk Expires in a Week. Life Lasts a Little Longer ✋ Small Hands, Big Dreams 📰 Plus our regular features: 🌎 World News 👨‍💻 Tech News 😂 Memes Whether you're graduating, reminiscing about childhood, or figuring out what comes next, this edition is for you. Happy reading! 🎲

  • Happy Birthday, Mom 💐 We miss you. More than words will ever manage to explain. I still catch myself wishing I could call you, tell you about life, hear your voice one more time. You would be proud of us, I think. Not only for what we’ve achieved, but because after everything, we’re learning how to be happy again. To enjoy life. To be kind. To do little things that make the world softer - the things you taught us without even trying. We’re trying to make this life beautiful. The kind of beautiful that would make you smile. Love you - to the stars and galaxies beyond 🌌❤️

  • 🌱🧑‍🎓 What’s in your invisible graduation bag? Not the diploma. Not the grades. But the 3 a.m. library laughs. The friend who shared their snacks during a breakdown. The moment you finally understood that theory — or realized it didn’t matter as much as you thought. Maybe it’s learning to say “no.” Or learning to ask for help. Looking back on your university years, what will you actually take with you? A memory? A habit? A person? A plot twist you didn’t see coming? Drop it below 🫴 In one sentence. Or three emojis. Or just a word. 💬 Let’s pack that bag together. 💌 For contact: @studentvoices_admin

  • Below is the beginning of the story👇 One late evening after work, exhausted, I was making my way home. There was a joyful holiday spirit in the air, but a thirty-five-year-old single office worker like me wasn't up to it. On my way to my apartment, I noticed a small bookshop whose window was glowing warmly, and I couldn't help remembering how my siblings and I used to wake up every first of January, laughing and shouting as we ran towards the presents under the New Year tree. Back then we were so close, but now we barely speak at all. Lost in thoughts, I unconsciously turned toward the bookshop, but never reached it. There was a sudden flash of lights, screech of brakes, and then terrifying silence. Staring at the night sky above me, I closed my eyes. When I opened them again, snow was falling outside. I was lying in the small bed my brother and I once shared. That was when I realized I was back in my childhood.
